... im not even going to comment. but so you know, i believe jetzt. this is as obvious as the "If i cut your arm off with a lightsaber will it bleed?" thing from a few months ago. all i will say is, USE YOUR HEADS PEOPLE, YOU HAVE BRAINS FOR A REASON. What about when Obi-Wan cut off that dudes arm in the mos eisley cantina in ANH? It was sitting in a pool of blood on the floor.......I think you better go back and watch that seen Devlen......

yes i have recently seen that.
and i still believe that that is physically impossible. it was before george lucas thought the starwars saga out.
if you think about it, the heat of a lightsaber would seal the wound before much blood could be spilt.

Yes yes i understand all that but you cant just over look it and say "everytime a person gets cut with a light saber, the wound doesnt bleed" because we have proof on film that sometimes the wounds do bleed lol

The entire film though silly at times. Dialogue off; not enough depth. It was overall a great film. I think Lucas has lost his people 'savvy.' In other words he's spent so much time deciding the look of the film he couldn't decide upon what was said. I believe the Jedi younglings may be referred to as such to remind every one that even though they are 'children' they're not to be treated or considered as ordinary. So perhaps calling them such is an actual term used by various ones in he(or his grasshopper) star wars universe. Then again perhaps I need stop sniffing tide and and call it like I see it: Younglings repeated ten times was silly for me too.

Before he "thought it out"? Hes had 28 years and 2 revisions to the film (once in 97 and for the DVD release) and yet that scene with the blood is still in there........

again, this is a rather pointless debate. But, there is more evidence against the "bleeding theory" as ive come to call it.
In episode 5 when luke gets his hand cut off, there is no blood, In episode 1 when darth Maul is cut in half, there is no blood, in episode 2, when anakin's arm is cut off there is no blood.
and for the sake of the people who have not yet seen episode 3, i will not list any further injuries.

another thing we havent taken into consideration, is the race of the man who's arm was chopped off.
Perhaps his race has a more active heart than humans, and so blood spurts more rapidly, or there is simply more blood.
or maybe even it's flesh is more fire resistant compared to a human or a Zabrak.
So, in my eyes, we cannot say that a lightsaber causes blood to flow from a wound, but we cannot say it does not either.

Fair enough....now heres mine..... Darth Maul - There is a mist of blood that shoots out when he is sliced in half by Obi-Wan Snow Monster - When luke cuts the snow monsters arm off the wound is not just bleeding but gushing from the looks of it Mos Eisley Cantina - Already mentioned in this topic Qui-Gon Jinn - We cant tell if hes bleeding or not because he is laying on a glossy black floor. Anyway i think its fair to say......."Light saber wounds dont often bleed but it has been known to happen"

so you see, in a sense, nothing can be explained in starwars fully to a proven extent. there are countless variables in the starwars universe. Perhaps the atmosphere is different on tattooine causing blood pressure to be higher. many of the phenomenons that occur in starwars will never be able to be scientifically explained ever. (not including the force)
