Pole Shift

That is when the planets magnetic pole shift, North becomes south * though the planet itself does not flip*

here is what we know so far:

The shifts happen once every 10,000 years like clockwork.

First signs are a disruption of migritory animals * IE, Birds migrating go to the wrong place, * this has been happening for the last 10 years

The planets some 2 million Rift Volcanos * underwater* start to become more active

The Core itself moves about * which it is so the earth is rotating more like an egg*

the earths magnetic feild drops in streangth by 15%
(its currently weakened to 11.5% of its normal)

The earths roation slows and comes to a complete stop for about two weeks * storms will be really nasty, and youll have two weeks of day or night, or whatever the time is*

then the magnetic field " flips" and everything goes back to normal *sorta, again magnetic north will be antartica*

Quik Question: Will the moon be effected in anyway? Just wondering cause if it is full moon for the night side for those 2 weeks it won't be that bad really. Well thats just what I think anyway.
Anyway I say 20 years.

not sure, I know for fact that the Sun, mercury, venus have shifted, we are starting, mars is staring, and whe are all volcanically active planets, not sure if dead satilites would be affected


MY question is this, if Magnetic North is Antartica, will North America become South America, I suppose not because people are lazy, but it's an Idea

Lol, if it did'nt happen would suck, the magnetic field gets weaker everytime its hit,, like shields, and with the Sun shooting off alot of X class solor flaires, after a time the field would burn out, and we would get toasted by radiation....well after electronics blow up first

nono, Magnetic field will be reversed for about another 10,000 years,, though the actual flip, where the earth wont rotate only takes about two weeks total

From what I heard we expect alot of problems with electronics, but other than that, intence storms, alot of quakes and Volcanos for a year or so,,but other than that I've not heard much of a major differance, perhaps weather might shift, sence the jet streams are magnetically driven,,,,

So basicly tough going for a while then basicly back to normal except for some wind directions. Hey wait, will ocean currents also be affected? Cause if they are that could seriously fu<k over Europe.

Yeah because if the ocean current stops bringing all that heat to just Northweat of the UK, Europe is going to get ALOT colder. Anyway, g2g guys. Catch you later.
