yes, colder.. During the last MAJOR Ice age * which we are still partially in* The UK was spared a utter freeze because of the gulf stream, turrent of cold water from noreway goes south into the gulf of mexico, then comes back up, warming the water on average of 5 degrees C which when dealing with surface temp keeps the UK about 10 to 15 dedrees C warmer more than enough to stave of a deep freeze,, WERE that to reverse, the gulf waters would run deeper, and hence we'd loose our built in heater

Yes just look at other countries at relative latitutes and there average temperatures throughout the year, such as Canada and it is easily seen.

yeah, wont be by a long shot.. Sure its gonna cause alot of havok, but I think thats more because man sorta forgets, so they as a whole erase common sence about it.. then you know there will be the " oh god why us" thing,,and science will say " weve been telling you about it for the past 200 years and you never listen"

but its normal and natural, and Human lived through a shift before, well two if you count whats called a polar equanox, then the pols only half shift, then snap right back to how they were


Now from what I understand there WERE a few bad bad things on the last shift,,,I believe it was on the last shift that Yellow Stone erupted

we are over due on that Super Volcano to go...and that one is a world effecter, and pretty much a US/Can/Mexico killer

lol* well the EU, and UK would only freeze up if the Gulf stream were to be pushed deeper, a massive introduction of freash water can and will, and is sorta doing that,

Now there are a few major things in the US Due,
Mount Ranier * very powerful Volcano in southern Washington* shout that blow, it's sister volcano:
Mount Hood * will blow* and that most likely will spell nasty desasters to the west coast, mainly due to earthquakes.

Yellow Stone National Park,,the whole park IS a volcano's culdara, Yellow stone is a super volcano, and is a NorthAmerica Killer,, it blows about every 20,000 years I think, and we are in the cycle, could blow tomorrow, could be in a thousand years,, though the lake there has risen 20ft, and there is a massive buble in the earth,, which means the volcano is still active, and building

there there are the random earthquakes in the mid west that could in all rational split the contry in two, joining lake michigan to the mississippi, and making it alot like a sea,,so as long as your not in a flood plane, or a delta you should be alright

then there is the massive land mass the size of texas sitting under Hawaii..

though I doubt a pole shift would trigger any of these directly, the fourth phase of this Ice age could trigger some, but not really anything.

* no an Ice age has NOTHING to do with global warming or the Ice caps, that infact is part of what makes everything freeze over * see the Gulf stream bit*
An Ice age is determaned by glaceral growth, and all the worlds glaciers are growing , Hell Im Sure Adamis could tell you how massive New Zelands glacier has gotten in the last 20 years*
