Well to what I gather, an RPing site, KOTOR Kingdoms, had the Ebon Claw in which they didn't have her permission to use and as this was a thing she made up. This annoyed her to some extent and as anyone would, take action.

not just that,, they took EVERY single thing she wrote in this faction thread, used Lirreka as an NPC and what not, and the insult was they did not ask,, Nore could they actually come close to acting remotely like lirr and family, Keanu told Lirr, and then Lirr, Tiera, Jetzt, Kit ,myself and an other asked them to not do that and remove it

do you actually have a copyright on it? did you actually pay to make it so no others could use it on other boards?

Well there's three ways to obtain Copyright on a fictional work (Be it race, character or organization). One) you send the work in question to the government's Office covering Copyrights, Patents and Trademarks with (I'm not sure of the current fee, the last one I got cost 60 dollars) the Fee, the forms and a copy of the work, wait 120 business days and you'll receive a certificate of Copyright that is retroactive back to the time your package was post marked. The copyright is good for your lifetime plus 25 years. Two ) You can get the piece in question published in a magazine, anthology or E-zine. Nearly all such buy first publication rights for a certain amount of time then all rights revert to the author. Three ) You can print out a copy of the work and send it to yourself registered mail. This records the date and time the package was delivered. It's referred to as the 'Poorman's copyright'. Now one thing about copyright. The moment you actually write something down and you declare it a complete work it's protected by copyright law. To get it REGISTERED you need to do one of the above three methods. All of which are legal and court supported methods of registering your copyright. Lirreka and the Ebonclaws are both the first and second. Danthiri is just the second. I want to have some more stuff together before I send in the papers for registering it. Regardless all three (plus the claw image) are all copyright protected works.
