The Barra’cress ship class is the largest known vessel to be used by the Ebonclaw Fleets. A massive vessel rivaling the Ivory Goddess in size, the Barra’cress (Shadowblade in Danthiri) has been built to be able to lay siege to an entire system on its own. Carrying ten full wings (720 ships) of ‘Ssa-yinn’ class starfighters and five light cruisers the Barra’cress would be a formidable carrier but it also packs firepower surpassing the Retributor. Two primary turrets (fore and aft topside) mount three massive ion cannons capable of delivering a burst upon impact. The burst is very effective in planetary bombardment. Three secondary turrets mount high-speed plasma-pulse cannons effective in ship-to-ship exchanges. There are 12 (6 per side) Rapid-fire blaster cannons used as anti missile and anti fighter weapons. In hardened bays long the sides of the vessel are 90 heavy Quad cannons (Upgraded versions of turbo lasers, 3 to a bay) and 30 missile racks capable of launching standard concussion missiles, ion missiles or for hull penetration solid Quadanium Steel ‘harpoons’ designed to ‘hole’ ships that mount superior armor. Missile types can be switched out rapidly.

Much like the Retributor the Barra’cress class is build with many layers of redundant systems including a custom laminate armor that involves sandwiching impact and energy absorbing nano-fluids between layers of Durasteel. While the fluidic layers are normally incapable of withstanding the cold of space the layers of durasteel insulate them. This creates a formidable defense for an already formidable ship.
