Barrill just complained about it, and Sin sort of suggested this, which I dislike. Rank does not affect power. Say you are a Sith Lord. Switching to the Jedi, and having them make you a Jedi Knight or padawan, does not mean you have lost any power, it merely means that you have been demoted for lack of being good. Your strength only goes up, unless something horrible happens to you.

In one of your in character posts, you said that your NEW character could kill me now that I have joined the Jedi, and that I would be a padawan and be even weaker or something like that.

You have to gain the power first, but after you have it, if you get demoted, you still have it. I had the power, he didnt, thats why I said that.

Yeah, thats true... I usually dont use them anyway, other than speed and occasionally heal. Valor and shield too. Wouldnt take too long to relearn them to the fullest though.
