Lightsaber Restrictions for Lower Ranks?

I dunno, mainly in the Jedi...there are too many double-bladed ligthsabers or lightsabers with irrgular crystal colours? im just suggesting that Jedi Knights, Sith Acolytes and below should be restricted saberwise.

eg.
Knight and below:
One Single bladed lightsaber of blue, green or yellow colour.

Acolyte and below:
One single bladed lightsaber of red colour.


People are gonna hurt me for this...

Sounds like fun but the only thing that would affect me would be, I have to return my lightsaber (Heh) although the colour choice was chosen by Sever....

Maybe red, purple and orange for Acolyte and below so they don't think they are being screwedbecause they aren't Jedi.

Yellow saber were traditionally the trademark of a Jedi sentinal, but that died off after the great sith war....

As for Sith, the main reason they use red is because they are in a hast to create a weapon, and rather than forging for the perfect crystal they use alchemy and create one.. the chemicals used produce red 90% of the time, or a red variant


In truth though most of the time when a Jedi makes a saber they will never know it's coloure until they activate it for the first time
