Independant Training ((Ask))

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

"You can't see. I just told you everything to do, and you said you could do it. I will give you the unified portion of this, and you can do it all on your own."

*He places his hands on Jag's shoulders and closes his eyes, apparently trying to make a connection with him through the force. This took a while, and took a lot of energy out of him, but he was able to accomplish his task.*

"Fly."

[Lu Kane]

*Jag shakes under Dexon's grip and almost collapses but manages to stay on his feet. He looks upward and raises his arms.

"Alright"

*Jag turns inward upon himself and concentrates entirely on his task, making himself as weightless as possible and actually lifting up off the ground. Seemed like a childrens story but something inside him told him it was possible. The Force starts swirling around him in a fury, whipping his tan robes around. Jag uses all the pent up power and throws it into his conciousness, focusing on lifting up off the ground, with the added strength of Dexon as well. The swirling Force dies down then suddenly Jag slowly begins to lft off from the ground, hovering a few feet off the ground. Slowly but steadily he gains height, he is now one full meter off the ground, he teeters to his left and falls back down, landing with his knees bent*

"Guess I'll need to practice a little bit before I master it"

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

"Indeed you will... You did very well for your first time, and it is expected that you do around that well with assistance from myself. It is now time for you to go out and help once more."

[Lu Kane]

"Alrighty, even though I would rather not be an erand boy saving the helpless from already certain death"

*Before giving Dexon to respond Jag strode to the door and left, heading this time toward the undercity to see what trouble lies below the surface of this ravaged planet*

"He is lucky I am no Jedi, or he would be long gone by now. He's gonna have to find me again."

*Dexon runs and leaps out of the window, going into a force fly and gliding over to the Upper City Cantina. He goes over to a view screen and watches a very intruiging fight at a Geonosian arena, involving his once friend and student, Raego Greith.*

"Go, sonny, go."

[Lu Kane]

*Jag walks toward the nearest elevator heading down to the undercity and presses the open door button... nothing happens. He stands there for a moment and cocks an eyebrow. Seemingly this elevator was broken*

No worries

*Jag pulls out his saber staff and ignites one end, a fiery beam spurts out with a snap-hiss. Jag sets the blade up and neatly cuts a hole big enough for him to fit through and jumps in. With the help of the Force Jag slows his fall and goes into a tumble-roll and lands with his knees bent*

*Jag gets up and slices open the door at the bottom and steps out into what seemed like a primitive war zone. People were everywhere, throwing stones, bricks, and even small boulders, a few had old blasters and were firing away madly. There seemed to be two sides to this fight, the people with the blasters looked like soldiers of some kind, all of them wearing grey uniforms. The people throwing the stones and rocks seemed to be trying to fight off these soldiers, obviously a loosing battle. Jag had to do something, and fast*

Oh sithspawn

*Jag ran forward, igniting both blades, sending an eerie red-gold glow upon his robes. He summersaulted up and over the nearest soldier and sliced his blaster into pieces. He continued on and a few of them stopped in their tracks and just gaped at him, after a few moments they emerged from their stupor and just started firing at him, ignoring the other people for which they had came for. Super heated laser fire was flying in all directions, a few grazing his shoulder once more, and many, many more were sent straight back at those who had fired them with a flick of Jag's saber*

*Jag reached out with the Force to feel around for the soldiers' intentions and what they were doing here*

These soldiers are just here to wipe out these people? What good will that do?

*Jag uses the Force once more and rips the primitive blasters from their hands, forcing them to give up. There were only about 15 of them now, and they weren't interested in losing anymore men it seemed. Jag flipped back his robes and clipped his saber staff back onto the sling on his back and turns to face the soldiers*

"So, are you guys having fun slaughtering countless innocents?"

*A man stepped forward and began to speak, it seemed that he was their spokesman*

Man: "Innocents? Do you know what these, these ANIMALS have done to our homes? Our families? These men broke into the lower city and robbed our just rebuilt markets, we have less food and less supplies!"

[Lu Kane]

"I do not care what THEY did, I care about what YOUR doing right now. Slaughtering people is not the answer, did you ever think that these people were starving and needed the food for survival? And don't even say that they could have just paid for it, you know they wouldn't have any credits living down here in this muck"

*Jag steps forward and hands the man a few hundred credits*

"I hope you all learned a valuable lesson today. This should cover the cost, now get the hell out of here before I skin you all with my lightsaber"

*Jag turns back to the men who were throwing the stones and smiles*

"I just saved your asses from being murdered, have a nice day!"

*Jag waves at them and heads back to the elevator and starts climbing back up, going up the maintinence ladder. After about 20 minutes he reaches the top and climbs out onto the floor*

*Jag looks around in his mind once again for Dexon and finds that he wondered off yet again*

Damn that guy, hes sure having fun isn't he?

*He feels around and expands his search and finds Dexon's uniques Force signature up in the upper city cantina and heads off in that direction. Jag walks into the cantina and silently steps up behind Dexon and taps his shoulder*

"Oh, hello, I was just catching up on my favorite past time, tournament fighting. My old apprentice happens to be participating. Perhaps you have heard of the Horseman of War, Raego Greith?"

[Lu Kane]

"I believe I bumped into him at one point yes, he and a few others enslaved some wookiee friends of mine"

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

"Sounds like him. Possibly the work of a lady friend and my old friend, Hoorex Kwando. Seems like a very versatile group."

*He turns off the view screen after watching one more move of Raego's, then turns around, motioning Jag to follow him as he walked out of the cantina. Training cannot be done there.*

*Jag follows him out, feeling his meaning through the Force*

"So whats the lesson this time Master?"

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

"I dont, and never have, liked the sound of that. Just call me Dex, please. Nobody has been able to understand that. I am gonna drop this Unified force balogna and go to the good stuff. Mancery."
