[Lu Kane]

*The Lost Cause drops out of hyperspace around the planet Taris, Jag brings his ship down and lands it on a landing pad just outside the upper city. Jag hops out and reaches out with the Force, a mental picture forms in his mind, hes able to "see" around himself. Noises erupt all around him, in his mind he watches the sound wave bounce around and come back to his ears. He begins to head towards the apartment buildings and stands waiting for someone*

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

*From behind the man comes another. This one was tall, his hair long, his facial hair not shaved for weeks. He towered over the man he was standing behind, and reached down, grabbing hold of his shoulder.*

"Greetings..."

[Lu Kane]

*Jag felt the presence of the man and turned around and looked at him with a calm and indifferent look on his face. The newcomer was only one inch taller than him, he could feel him through the Force, every slight move, the shagginess of his facial hair, and could hear the sound of his breath*

"Hello there"

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

ooc: One inch? People sure make tall characters now adays.

"Good evening. Beautiful day isnt it?"

*Dexon was looking around him, the broken landscape of the once great city planet. Not anywhere near the glory it had before, but still a wonderful technical masterpeice.*

ooc: yeah, Jag is 6'6

ic: *Jag looks around at his surroundings and frowns*

"I don't know, I'll have to take your word for it... I'm sortive blind you see?"

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

"Didnt really notice, to be honest. I am sure that if you reached out enough with the force, you would be able to get a good enough vision of what the landscape looks like right now. Just try."

[Lu Kane]

"Alright..."

*Jag empties his mind and reaches out with his perceptions, feeling the Force pass through objects, flow all around them and "listens"... He feels the once great city around him, ravaged by war but still a masterpiece of craftsmanship and labor, feels the pain left behind by those who died here, feels the suffering and hate of the poor folk locked and trapped in the undercity and a frown comes to his face*

"Beautiful day? Why yes, yes it is"

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

"So you noticed it. It is a beautiful day for those up here, where almost nothing can happen to them. They thought they had it all until Lord Malak destroyed their entire city and left the under dwellers prosperous. An ironic twist of fate, though unfortunately, such a thing never works out for two people. Now you have a choice. Help up here, or help down there."

[Lu Kane]

*Jag's brow furrows as if in deep thought, he turns toward Dexon and frowns once again*

"Why should I help either side? What benefit would the oposite gain? If I were to help, I would bring the dwellers of the undercity up here and have the people live together as a society, and yet, from what the Force tells me, this would only bring fighting back to Taris and once again shatter lives. These people could not live together peacefully, memories from before would surface and battle would strike out"

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

"If that is what you believe, then you do not have to do either. However, I do wish for you to help this society in some way, shape or form. If you do this for me, I will grant you something in return."

[Lu Kane]

*Jag looks away and begins to think*

"Umm... Suppose I do help the society of this planet, what is it that you'll give me in return?"

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

"Every one thing that you do to help someone, I will teach you something new. One power from the unified force everytime you do something to help someone. Sounds like a fair deal."

[Lu Kane]

*Jag turns back to Dexon, shifting the mental image of his surroundings in his mind*

"Sounds good, when do I start?"

[Jedi Master Arlon Kyjar]

"Right now. Go find someone to help and help them. This is harder than you assume it to be..."

[Lu Kane]

"Well alright then"

*Jag walked over to the side of the railing, took one look back at Dexon and flipped over the edge, landing firmly on his feet he began his search for people in need. Jag felt around with the Force, trying to pick up any signs or feelings of distress or trouble. On this planet this was incredibly easy. He quickly felt a disturbance and headed off in that general direction, he stopped right outside of an alleyway and heard voices*

Man: "Give me the credits you scum, all of it"

other man : "Please don't kill me, I'll give you whatever you want, just don't hurt me!"
