Still working that out but I know that I will watch those I make sheets for. Those who understand d20 we'll probably work out persons who will do this. Each thing you face and each enemy you contact has a difficulty class. Usually a Game Master or GM will assign your skill points in the end of your mission. IF you go d20, then the us "watchers" will assign experience points. NOW, just so we make something clear. If you do an rp and you go on a killing rampage just to get experience points, it isn't going to fly....lol.

[glow=red,2,300]Downloadable Character Sheets- Click Here[/glow]Next to explaining your character sheets....or basically what you guys have set up in profiles. Vitality points: Your toughness basically. Once your vitality points are at 0, your wound points will start to go down. When wound points decrease, your character becomes fatigued and will start to die. Wound Points: Your lifeline. As this decreases, your character will become fatigued. At 0 your character can't defend himself/herself very well. After it goes into the negatives, your character is fighting conciousness and dying. You will have to try to make save roll to regain conciousness each round or your score decreases again. A score of -10 is death. Critical hits, if activated, to your character will result in instant damage to your wound points directly. Defense: Determined from your class. 10 + Class bonus + Dexterity modifier Speed and Initiative we really don't use on your d20 online rp. Yet, it can come into play. We'll talk about that later in the sample d20 rp. Base Attack Bonus: Basically this is what you add to your attack roll to find out if your attacks strike your opponent. You must overcome their defense to get a hit. Also, you can get additional attacks ex. +8/+4/+2. That means a full round attack would result in +8 added to the first attack roll...+4 to the second...etc. You'll see this in the sample rp. Reputation: Popularity and how well known you are in the galaxy. This can be good and bad for you. A smuggler doesn't like having a high reputation nor other rough characters that like to work in the shadows. Jedi and Sith want high reputations so their influence is known and respected. Force Points: You start off with 1 force point for every character. Any heroic acts will result in Light Side force points. Dark Side force points will result from Jedi misusing the Force or malicious acts. Yes, you can get enough dark side points that your character can turn. To redeem yourself isn't an easy thing and will require several heroic acts. Saving Throws: These are your defenses against some attacks. There are three types: fortitude, reflex and will. The type of save you use will depend on the strike. Melee Attack Bonuses and Ranged Attack Bonuses: These differ based upon your ability scores and feats you take. These will be added to your attack roll instead of the base attack bonus when using a particular weapon. See next post for a listing of complete skills and Feats. Keep in mind this is very very vague right now and simplistic to just give you a basic understanding. It becomes easier once you get into it and do it yourself. The sample d20 rp will also help clarify some questions you may be having.

The Levels of long term characters is indeed high. This combines the age of the character, the length of play and the deeds of the character in question. IE Barzai is a 20th level character, he's served as general in several campaigns for Lirreka and has basically 'been where the action is' to earn that level. Raviel and Ti'pha for example aren't that high. Most Long term characters on this board should be between 16-20 level. This will seem high to most d20 players but my reasoning is above.
I will note two things here now, One) I am currently in the final stages of having Adena's Star Wars D20 core rules sheet done. After that I will then have to turn my hand to Lirreka. Neither task has been or will be easy. Both characters came from what would now be called 'Epic level' campaigns (Though without the idiotic Epic Level Feats) and to rebuild them for 20 levels is very difficult. In many ways I'm tempted to never reveal Lirreka's sheet and leave her as is. However I am one who tends to want to lead by example and not having my main character's sheet up feels wrong to me so I will endeavor to produce it.
I will try to help Kel get the info together to help you all build D20 character (If you want to as she stated it is NOT manditory) The hardest thing will be the classes, if we can find another site that has them we'll link up to it rather then post them here (That way if there's any infringement copyright wise it's them and not us) Or find some 'shorthand' way of providing the info. We will help as best we can but you all must be patient.

If anyone would like to see an example of a complete and finished D20 profile (as modified by Kyra and Lirr) then click the link in my signature. Granted you will not be level 20 but this is what your character could look like when fully leveled. (Also note: I have been using Kit for over a year now and it was agreed upon by a few admins that his level should be 20. I also JUST leveled him up to lvl 20 anyway.)
