The Seizing of Malachor V (PM me before you post)

::A small fleet of Sith warships jump out of hyperspace and arrive in orbit around the shattered world of Malachor V. They encounter no resistance due to the Mandalorian's lack of planetary defenses. The Sith Fleet begins to form a perimeter around the planet::

Sith Bridge Officer - Mi'Lord, we have arrived at Malachor 5. There is no visible planetary defense and the fleet has begun to form a defense perimeter.....

Hawken - Excellent, ready my ship........im going down to the surface....

Sith Bridge Officer - As you wish Mi'Lord.....

::Hawken leaves the bridge of his ship and heads to the hangar bay where his shutttle has been prepared for the journey to the surface::

::Hawken boards his shuttle and is accompanied by a detactment of 50 Sith troopers and various Sith Acolytes::

Hawken - Prepare for departure....

Sith Pilot - As you wish Mi'Lord......

::Hawken's Ship leaves the hangar bay and begins to decend through Malachor's thin atmosphere to the surface::

Sith Pilot - Mi'Lord i am detecting a large stone complex 25 degrees north of the planets equator.

Hawken - Lock on to the complex and bring us down within half a kilometer......

Sith Pilot - As you wish Mi'Lord.

::The Shuttle arrives near the complex. Hawken orders his troops to ready their weapons and prepare to disembark.

::Hawken leaves the shuttle and is immeditately struck by the enormity of complex. He notices a bridge in the far distance which leads over the canyon and up to the complex entrance::

Hawken - Commander, Send the scouts ahead. Tell them to report once they reach the entrance. Tell them not to enter the Academy yet......

Sith Commander - As you wish Mi'Lord.

::The scouting party leaves for the entrance to the academy. They disappear into the mist and all that can be seen is the occasional reflection of light from their blaster plating::

::Several minutes pass and then the scouting report comes in::

::Transmission::

Sith Scout - The path leading to the Academy has been cleared, Commander. We ran into 3 large beasts which seemed to have some connection to the force but we managed to take them out.

Sith Commander - Good, set up a defense perimeter infront of the entrance.

::The Sith Commander informs Hawken of the situation::

Sith Commander - Mi'Lord the scouts have cleared the path leading up to the academy

Hawken - Excellent, let us leave for the entrance at once.....

::Hawken and his forces begin the short trek over the bridge and up to the academy's entrance::

::As they approach the entrance, Hawken is struck with a powerful surge of darkside energy. He can feel the very essence of the darkside more and more with each step. He slightly stumbles and falls to his knees, overwelmed by this feeling of Great power::

Not even within the Valley of the Dark Lords have i felt such a presence of the darkside. The echo of the ancient Sith Empire still resinates within this place......

::Hawken rises to his feet and begins to walk slowly up the steps which lead to the academy::

::As he reaches the last step, Hawken turns to the Sith Commander and speaks::

Hawken - That is far enough, Commander..........I will enter the academy alone.......

Sith Commander - But Mi'Lord atleast allow me to send a few elite troops to escort you.....

Hawken - I will enter alone, Commander...........reinforce our position here and send word to the fleet to begin landing our occupation forces.........

Sith Commander - Y.....yes ofcourse, Mi'Lord.

::Hawken turns to face the entrance way. He slowly moves into the academy and out of sight. The Sith Commander sends a transmission to the fleet orbiting Malachor to begin sending down ground troops::

Sith Commander - Admiral, begin landing our troop carriers and supply ships.

Sith Admiral - Acknowledged........

::Sith forces begin to land on Malachor 5 to begin the occupation of the planet::

::As Hawken enters the Academy he feels a dark presence lurking somewhere in the shadows. He enters into a large room and stops for a moment. Suddenly a slight gust of wind blows through the room and mysteriously ignites 12 torches mounted equally on each side of the room. At the the far side of the room stands a dark cloaked figure. He is silent as Hawken moves closer::

Hawken - Who are you?

::The figure does not reply. Instead he stands motionless making no sound::

Hawken - I come in search of the secrets of Malachor........

::Suddenly the rumbling of stone rubbing against stone can be heard as a door begins to open just to the right of the figure::

::Without saying a word or making a sound the figure raises its right arm and points towards the doorway. Hawken gazes suspiciously at the figure for a moment and then proceeds through the opened doorway::

::As he enters the next chamber the door behind him closes quickly. Hawken is startled briefly by closing door but turns and begins to walk forward into the darkness of the chamber ::

::Hawken moves deeper into the room cautiously. He can see a red glowing outline of a man standing in the darkness. As Hawken moves closer the man begins to speak in a thunderous deep voice::

Voice - [glow=red,2,300]So you have come.......I was beginning to wonder when you would arrive.....[/glow]

Hawken - Do you know me?

Voice - [glow=red,2,300]I know of all those who revel in darkness........[/glow]

Hawken - Then you know why i am here?

Voice - [glow=red,2,300]Ahh yes........you seek the knowledge........the wisdom of the Ancient Empire....[/glow]

Hawken - Yes i do......

Voice - [glow=red,2,300]Then you must prove yourself worthy before i share this knowledge.......[/glow]

::Hawken grips his light saber tightly as he replies::

Hawken - What must i do....

::Hawken's Light saber is forcefully pulled from his hand and destroyed in the midst of the darkness::

Voice - [glow=red,2,300]This power is not of the blade..........It is not something that can be earned through combat! It is a higher understanding of the darkside.........It is a power few have ever mastered![/glow]

Hawken - Then i will do whatever is required of me.......

Voice - [glow=red,2,300]Then first you must understand the power you seek...........As i said it is not combat training but rather a form of art..........a Greater connection to the force which is both elegant and ruthless.......Their are 3 types of this knowledge....[/glow]

Hawken - How many of these powers can i learn?

Voice - [glow=red,2,300]You may only select one.[/glow]

Hawken - What are these powers?

::Suddenly a red mist begins to rise up from the ground. Hawken is engulfed by the mist and rendered unconcious::

Voice - [glow=red,2,300]You will know soon enough, Lord Hawken...........For now however you must sleep..........for when you awaken you will find yourself changed forever.......[/glow]

::Hawken is motionless and in a sleep like stasis on the floor of the chamber::

::Some time later Hawken awakens on the chamber floor. The voice begins to speak once more::

Voice - [glow=red,2,300]Are you ready to know of your choices?[/glow]

Hawken - What happened?

::Hawken is suddenly hit with a powerful dose of force lightning. His outer robe is set on fire and the skin on the right side of his face is severely burned::

Voice - [glow=red,2,300]SILENCE![/glow]

::Hawken throws his burning robe aside and grips his face in pain::

Voice - [glow=red,2,300]Speak only the answers to my questions and nothing more........[/glow]

Hawken - Yes......yes ofcourse!

Voice - [glow=red,2,300]Good, now listen closely..........You must choose a path to follow. These paths will lead you to the knowledge you seek. The first is pain..........The pain of having your body broken and scarred and using that torment to strengthen your connection to the darkside will give you Great physical power. You will be a master of both saber fighting and force powers. The second is hunger..........the ability to feed on the essence of the force within all life will allow you to control and destroy at will. This power is not easily mastered and only 4 individuals during the ancient days were able to use it effectively. The third and final power is the art of Betrayal..........This is the most useful and sought after of the three. The ability to draw your enemies close, gain their trust, hear their secrets and at their most vunerable moment turn your back and destroy them. I know which power you are most suited for Lord Hawken but it is your choice........which power do you wish to pursue.......[/glow]

Hawken - I chose the power of Betrayal.......

Voice - [glow=red,2,300]Indeed........then let us begin........[/glow]

:: Over the course of several weeks, Hawken stays within the halls of the Trayus Academy on Malalchor V and learns the Art of Betrayal::

::After his training is complete, Hawken emerges from the entrance of the academy and is greeted by the Sith Commander::

Sith Commander - My Lord we had given up all hope! When you didnt return we sent several squads into the academy to search for you but none of them returned. I was just about to pull our foces off the planet and return to Korriban....

::Hawken grabs the Commander by the throat and bgins crushing down hard::

Hawken -[glow=red,2,300]The Sith will never abandon Malachor 5 again, Commander.............do i make myself clear?[/glow]

Sith Commander - Y.....yes mi'lord.....

::Hawken slams the commander to the ground and walks over his body as he moves to the Sith encampment outside the Academy. He approaches a Sith Lieutenant and begins to speak to him::

Hawken - [glow=red,2,300]Lieutenant, the Trayus Academy and Malachor 5 itself is now the domain of the Sith Empire once more. Move our forces inside and setup a command post. I will return to Korriban to inform the Empress. You will oversee operation here while im gone. I suggest you remove the former commander's body from the entrance before it begins to rot. Do Not fail me, Lieutenant.........[/glow]

Sith Lieutenant - Yes Mi'Lord.......

::Hawken boards his shuttle and returns to his capital ship in orbit over Malachor 5. Once there he orders his ship to return to Korriban to meet with the Empress::
