Of Gizka and Glory (Mandalorians Only)

[Kelborn Odarian]

*The Sun gleamed down upon the Green surface of Dxun. Gizka growled and leaped from place to place then scattered into the wilderness as the large Golden figure walked steadily through the grass towards the nothingness withing the deep jungle of Dxun. In the distance the low rumble of Boma's is heard and the wind blew steadily against the armored Kelborn. His eyes somewhat glazed in a deep thought...remembering...*

*Smoke rose out of the thick grove of trees ahead of Kelborn. He stopped and thought to himself....he remembered all of his past adventures....he remebered all of his friends...his enemies...his family...*
"Home..."
*He whispered....*

*As he entered the run down settlement...Life assumed all control...Dust kicked up by the constant shuffling of feet...old friends and new faces all moving about in their daily routine...this was no ordinary Mandalorian Camp...it wasn't just for training...it was for living...it was home to many Warriors, including Kelborn....it was a place where old fighters settle down and start a family or return home to spend time with loved ones...it was a softer side the the rough Mandalorians....a paradox in its own...some of the most feared individuals in the galaxy living lives like everyone else....a crazed combination....*

*Kelborn scoffs slightly to himself...even in the sentiment he forgot the hard life he lived...constant training from his father....always placed into battle situations and forced to think! Even at a young age his father had locked his son away from the world...and when you lock the world out....you lock yourself in...Kelborn turns his head and sees an amateur battle circle...Grandfathers and fathers cheering on the next generation of warriors...who were no older then five...instead of complex fighting techniques the children just tackle each other and attempt to punch the other untill one starts to cry....it is where the true warriors take their first steps...there are no mothers or sisters to watch out for them....there is no sympathy only learning...only growing...the children learn self-reliance...they learn how to pick themselves up...brush their wounds and continue fighting...tears do nothing...crying does nothing...you can only fight...or be destroyed....*

*Kelborn smiles as one particularly vicious child jumps on the back of his opponent and begins to pull at his opponent's hair...he remembers himself as a child...the one pulling the hair the one showing no mercy...he had no friends only enemies...he always won the battle circle because of his shut out nature....he was cold and heartless...he caused many a child to cry and retreat behind his father....this often would cause the eruption of laughter and arguments...the losing father would often yell at Kelborn's father who would just laugh and shrug his shoulders...'that boy will be an intense warrior, Kel....' they would always say...Kelborn loved the attention...this caused him to train harder and win more often....and make more enemies....*
