The streets of Corusant are busy at this hour. This is the hour of hunter. Syn melts into the shadows watching the open door to the cantina. [Inner thought]: I do hope he is enjoying himself. Soon he will be one with the force! I slow my breathing and begin to focus myself. This battle must be quick and decisive.
[Inner thought]: "I see you. Do you see me?" A man standing roughly 6 feet tall exits the cantina with several other people and heads north down the dark alley way. I follow the shadows at a good pace. I see them turn the corner ten meters ahead of me. I must quicken if I am to catch them before they reach the turbo lifts.
As I round the corner I am stunned to see no one there? No trace? I focus myself in the force and begin my search. The force creeps out from me into the shadows like great tentacles feeling… hungering for them. Ahhhh… clever? They know I am here? or are they being cautious? I don’t like either ! 2 of the men, bodyguards perhaps cling to the sides of the alley out of sight for a normal person perhaps but not for a dark jedi! I must find the others before going further. Again I meditate and allow my mind to flow through the force….NOTHING! This cant be? Inner thought: It is time to reveal myself. I am confident I can dispatch one then question the other and continue my pursuit. I slink along the wall coming to within a meter of them
…<br> Welfor hears a slight whisper in the wind and then a red glow on the wall behind him? There are no lights here! Just then Welfor ears catch a distinct sound of flesh being burnt and… it cant be? A light saber! He turns just in time to see his accomplice fall into 2 pieces right before his very eyes, he catches a slight glimpse of something moving to his left at an unbelievably fast pace, then a flash of red… then nothingness. Welfor’s eyes begin to refocus as he comes back to consciousness to the feeling of someone slapping his face? I am not dead? Just then he looks into the eyes of man? No not a man, something darker: with the red glowing eyes of a demon! Welfor begins to speak and is slapped hard across the face. Just then he feels something crawling behind his eyes searching through his very thoughts. "STOP THIS!" Another blow glides across his face cracking his already broken jaw. Syn: "Make this easy for me and I will make this easier for you. If you understand, nod!" Welfor quickly nods." I have searched your thoughts but did not find what I seek. Did you know I was coming?" Welfor hesitates for a moment.. Syn’s fist comes in fast and shatters his nose splashing blood on the wall beside him. "I hate being this nice! That was as good as it gets and it wont get that good again! Do you understand? NOW answer!"
Just then I feel a tremor in the force! I command my twin light sabers into my hands and with lightning speed I behead the cowering man slumped on the ground in front of me. When I turn to face what can only be a jedi knight I am shocked to see not one but THREE of them!
They come at me hard and fast but I am the quicker, I parry the first blow up high and come back under and around with my left saber taking the man’s arm at the elbow. I spin and force push the jedi to my right. he slams against the wall but is not badly injured and rejoins the fight. The third jedi used these precious moments to circle in behind me and prepare for a killing blow. "Think you can have my head that easily do you?" I cross my blades behind my neck to thwart the attack. I spin his saber off high and to the right and come up with a slash to his ribs to loose his innards, but he is faster than I expected. He lunges backwards and rolls away from me.The other comes in fast and strong I parry, attack, attack, and parry again.
It appears fatigue is getting the better of him. I allow a slight smile to creep across my face antagonizing him to swing harder! Just as I set him up for the killing blow I feel a shockwave hit me and send me reeling into the air. I use the force to slow my descent and allow me to land on my feet.
DAMN JEDI! "Now you WILL die!" I channel the hate and their fear into me and release it into a seethe of lightning. The alley way burns bright for but an instant then is once again engulfed into darkness. I don’t hesitate I come in for the kill to find one of the jedi rolling around on the ground, his robes aflame. I decide to let him burn as I stroll past him to face the last remaining jedi.
I can taste his fear dripping from his every pore! "I want to know where Kendrith Saron is! You will tell me or you will rue the day you were spat from your mothers womb!" Nothing but silence? Why must everyone do things the hard way? I come at him high with my right saber and low with my left, he takes the low one out wide and ducts under the right saber and spins off to my left and counter attacking with a blow meant to take my leg at the knee but I lift it and stretch it out to deliver a side kick to his face. The blow connects with a dull thud sending him into a sidelong flip against the alley wall. He lands and gathers for another assault. This jedi does have skill after all!
just as I am going for the kill I sense a bolt of energy coming at my back from the darkness. I spin and deflect it away, then pivot to soak up the advancing jedi's blows....
