Dealing With a Raiding party.

The Freighter that Pairo was traveling exited lightspeed a safe distance away from the raider group that Pairo had been assigned to destroy. He activaded the official log.

"Pairo Jolon squadron deploying," He stated intlo his comm as his heavy fighter squadron exited the frieghter. He quickly punched in commnad for the droid fightr to advance upon the enemy fighters, but to keep a safe distance.

Pairo himself moves within scanning range so he can find out what sort of fighter craft they were using.

OOC: It is your group if you are leading a rading party of about 20 fighters against a Trade Alliance space station known as Poran III in orbit round Agamar. Otherwise I have no issues with you unless you decide to attack the freighter I am escorting as the secondary portion of my mission.

ooc: Second in conmand I have no records of us even attacking TA.I thought we were in a cold war.

Not my group then we battled TA above Af'El but that was it.

OOC: Cool, thanks. I didn't really think it was you anyways, especially now that I have the group composition of these jokers.

IC:

Pairo's sensors picked up the enemy fighter group that was enclosing on them. For the most part it was light, fast fighters. Most of them didn't even have shields as far as the heavy interceptor's sensors could tell.

"Pairo Jolon Squadron, engaging," Pairo poke into the mission log. First he locked onto two of the few fighters to have shields with his missile launchers and fired a missile at each, and ordered his droids to do the same. A seven missile volley exploded into the enemy lines. As the enemy struggled to regroup, Pairo gave the split fire order. Immediately he and each of his fighters targeted one enemy fighter with primary laser cannons and put each turret to a different target. Laser shot spread like fire from the TA heavy fighter squadron, and quickly took out 8 more fighters, while damaging the others.

The Surprise was over, the remaining five turned around to return fire, they knew retreat was useless. Most of their attacks were absorbed by the shields, but they did manage to take two turrets off fighter 4 and one off each fighters 1 and 2. Pairo also noted that fighter 5's weapon systems were over heating. Pairo and fighter 3 advanced and fired all laser weapons on the remaining fighters, destroying all but one of them. The one began to move toward the freighter, but was destroyed by fighter 2.

"Paitro Jolon squadron reporting enemy destroyed," Pairo said into his mission recorder, "minimal damage to fighters, no casualties on our side. Completing escort mission to Agamar."

Pairo's squadron and the freighter approached the planet Agamar.

'"requesting permision to land," He stated over the comm link.

"Permission Granted," said an automated voice. Pairo squaron and the freighter bagn to approach the main TA base and began landing procedures.

Pairo's squadron and the frieghter landed on Agamar. Pairo directed the droid fighters to head for maintnence and repairs. Pairo exited his squadron and approached the main terminal in the hangar and activated the commlink to inform his superiors of his success.
