ooc: You folks are in for a great show, so stay tuned! ;D
*a Republic shuttle carrying Kellan and his team of 40 streaks out of hyperspace near the lone Galatic Republic Ship Impenetrable, which immediately hails the mid-sized ship*
Impenetrable comm: Republic shuttle, please state your reasons for bieng here and provide your access codes::
Kellan on comm: Impenetrable, this is the shuttle designated GLX-54-397. We are here to deliver medical supplies to your crew, who I understand have been in a fight recently near Taanab.
Impenetrable's comm: Roger that. And your access codes?
*Kellan give him access codes stolen during a previous mission to Balmorra*
Impenetrable's comm: Very well, 397. You're now cleared to proceed.
Kellan again: Thank you, sir. *they proceed to the docking bay of the large ship breathing a sigh of relief*
Impenetrable's comm: Oh, and Shuttle 397?
Kellan *this time he tightens with apprehension*: Yes sir?
Impenetrable's comm: Thanks for the supplies.
Kellan: You're welcome, sir.
*The shuttle lands in a hangar on the ship. He lower the ramp and step down. Kellan and some of his team are dressed in the jumpsuits of engineers and members of the technical staff, while others are in full Republic trooper uniforms (all stolen, of course). In the hangar, there are technicians and mechanics running about prepping fighters or loading supply barges, not giving the newcomers a second glance. Once their out, Kellan begins giving orders with the team*
All right, men. You guys, *points to several teams of 2* get your gear down, and get to your stations. The rest of you, come with me.
*the teams of 2 each unload a large box on wheels from the shuttle. Each one is about half the height of an average human, and about the same width. After they unload them and begin carting them away, Kellan closes his hatch and leads his group head out of the hangar.*
(continued later whenever I feel like it)

*Kellan and his team of the best commandos and infiltrators he could muster made their way to the bridge of the Impenetrable. Along the way, several of his men broke off from the main group to go to their pre-assigned positions located around the ship. When they reached the bridge, they found it locked, as expected. Kellan nods to Lt. Taylor*
Lieutenant Taylor, the key please.
Taylor: Right away, sir. *he produces a stolen data cylinder, of the make that many high-ranking officers carry that allows them access to the most important rooms. Lt. Taylor plugs it into the corresponding wall socket.*
*Kellan shifts restlessly in his engineer’s outfit as he waits for the computer to confirm it and open the doors* Get ready for your acts, gentlemen. This is perhaps the hardest part of this whole operation.
*the panel on the wall beeps and the doors slide open, revealing the wide viewports and crew pits of the bridge. A couple of men are at the far end looking out through the viewports and talking in authoritative tones, obviously the higher-ranking officers. The other crewmen pay no attention to Kellan and his group.*
*Kellan and his men walk up to the high ranking officers quickly in great strides and with great urgency.
Captain!
*one of the officers turn toward him*
*Kellan puts on a face of great concern and worry and addresses the captain before he even near him, throwing a hasty salute* Captain, there’s an emergency.

*the Captain’s face furrows in confusion* Captain: What emergency?
Kellan: *he takes a breath before continuing* There’s been a big rupture in one of the fuel lines. It goes from the reactor core to directly below this bridge, Captain. We must evacuate the bridge NOW. The problem may take a few hours at most to fix, but if we hesitate a moment too long in evacuating, there may not BE a bridge. *he looks earnestly into the Captain’s eyes.*
Captain: *frowns* Where’s the chief engineer? Why isn’t he reporting this to me directly?
Kellan: I’m afraid he’s busy trying to find the source of the problem right now, Captain. *thinks to himself: Too bad you don’t know he’s actually drugged, unconscious and trussed up in a maintenance crawlway.*
Captain: *he stands straighter* All right, I’ll evacuate the bridge. We can resume operations after the problem has been fixed. *his face relaxes a little* We are not in Jedi space, after all. *calls to the crewers on the bridge.* All right, there has been an emergency! A major fuel line that runs from below this bridge to the main reactor has been ruptured! All of you are to evacuate the bridge immediately! On the double!
*the crewers practically jump out of their seats, as seeing this as a chance for a break, and that the fuel leak was nothing too serious. After they left, the officers also begin to leave but Kellan stops them.*
Uh, actually Captain, I would like to talk to you and your higher officers for a moment. It concerns the state of our reactor.
*that got their attention*
Captain: Yes, what is it?
*Kellan nods to his men*
*They immediately fire on the high-ranking officers with their blasters on the stun setting. The Republic officers hit the floor before they could utter a sound.*
*turns to Lt. Taylor* Did you get it?
Taylor: Yes sirree. Recorded every sound he made. *he produces a black device from his arm and presses a button. A second later a small chip pops out. The LT also takes out a breath-mask like device, only its just the breath mask, minus the goggles.*
Well, let’s try.
*Kellan takes the breath-mask-like thing, pops the chip into a slot at the bottom, and puts it on*
*he speaks* TESTING.
*his voice comes out exactly like the captain’s.*
*The LT grins and flashes him a thumbs-up sign*
*Kellan takes it off, and looks at it in admiration* Normal voice: Wow, this thing is amazing. How does it work again?
*the LT beams with pride at the chance to explain a gadget to a higher ranking officer* Well sir, it records the speech of the person you want to mimic, and its really complex computer memorizes the speech patterns of the target person, including the pitch, amplitude, frequency, wavelength, etcetera. Then it stores it onto the memory chip, which you then pop into the voice mimicker you have now.
*I check it out once more before putting it back on* captain's voice: Man, the technology we have these days. Gotta thank Research and Development for this.
*he turns to the control panels before him*
captain's voice: Now for the official announcement.
ooc: I'm too tired for anymore tonight. There will be more tomorrow

*Kellan removes the voice mimicker and turns to Lt. Taylor* Lieutenant, *gestures at the crumpled heap of the unconscious Republic officers* get those guys bound and into a closet or something.
Taylor: Yes sir. All right men! You heard him. Bind those suckers nice and tight and throw ‘em into a janitor’s supply closet!
*A couple of his men begin carrying the COs away.*
*He watches them for a while before turning back to the LT* Nicely done.
And now for the big act. *clasps his hands behind his back and shifts in his stolen uniform* Lieutenant, tell Team One to detonate the first charge now. *puts the voice mimicker back on*
Taylor: Right away. *he speaks into a comm.*
*a moment later, an explosion rips through the ship somewhere below the bridge tower. He feels the panic and confusion of 8000+ crewmembers and smiles to himself. He then gets on the speaker that addresses the entire ship*
:::::::::::::::::::::speaker, in the captain’s voice::::::::::::: M-m-my fellow crewmen of the G.R.S. Impenetrable! I-I regret to inform you that there has been a massive failure of our main reactor. There has been a nuclear meltdown in our reactor, and it is very unstable. It will go critical in minutes The engineer estimates that we have approximately thirty minutes to get off the ship before the reactor blows. All crewmen, please make your way to the nearest escape pod in a calm and orderly fashion.
*he could already sense the fear and panic radiating from the crew as they scrambled to get to into escape pods.*
*Another explosion rips through the ship, sending shudders through the hull and making the walls groan, and further panicking the crew.*
*deep in the ship, some of Kellan’s more technically-adept infiltrators have gotten into maintenance panels and cut a few wires, causing the lights in areas of the ship to flicker and go out, also to inspire more fear into the Republic crewmen.*
Taylor: *confusion is evident on his face* Sir, what was it our demolitions people are blowing up again? We are trying to take this ship as intact as possible, aren’t we?
That we are, Lieutenant. I have ordered them to place charges in all the trash compactors on the ship. Those were the big boxes that the demo teams were carting out of the shuttle earlier. We are trying to simulate the feel of a starship’s reactor going critical, and it just wouldn’t be complete without a few explosions.
Taylor: *grins widely* So you’re scaring the men AND getting rid of their trash, huh? The proverbial “Killing two birds with one stone” I see.
*smiles at Taylor* Indeed it is, Lieutenant.
*as he senses the crew scrambling to get to an escape pod, he channels in a good dose of fear and panic into the crew in order to get rid of any doubts they might have about the ship’s dangerous condition.*
*After about 25 minutes or so he senses that most if not all of the crew are in their escape pods floating away in space. But it never hurts to make sure.*
Lieutenant, order our demo teams and techs to patrol the corridors of the ship and shoot anyone who still might be on board.
Taylor: Right away, sir! *he speaks into the com*
*after a few minutes, the men located throughout the ship report that all who are still on board are dead*
Very good, Lieutenant. Everything went according to plan for once. *he smiles satisfied*
Taylor: But sir, what should we do with the officers?
We’ll take them with us. No doubt they will provide some valuable information.
Taylor: Yes sir.
Now, set a course for the Jedi’s Light. Its not safe to go to Coruscant yet, since that is still in Republic space, so Captain Adamis’s ship is our safest bet.
Taylor: Right away, sir. *he goes and keys in the coordinates on the console*
*a moment later the G.R.S. Impenetrable lurches into hyperspace, leaving its former crew in its escape pods wondering what the hell happened.*
