Dxun Jungle Crawl

[Kapar'in Va]

Lim Dul's cloaked Sith Infiltrator exits hyperspace above the Mandalorian moon of Dxun. A scan of the planet's surface reveals a few small settlements, most likely Mandalorian camps.

(OOC: I am basing Dxun's population on KOTOR2, so if it is actually heavily populated, let me know and I will change it...)

Locating a clearing far enough from anything to avoid detection, Lim Dul lands the Infiltrator and steps out onto the moon's surface.

Cursing the rain, Lim Dul stretches his muscles, sore from his journey.

Kneeling in the clearing, he closes his eyes and begins to meditate, reaching out with his mind, attempting to locate the Sith Temple.

It does not take long for the presence of the Dark Side to manifest itself in his consciousness. It is like a wave of power washing over him.

Smiling, Lim Dul rises and begins walking towards the the source of the Power he feels through the Force. He activates his Force Camouflage and enters the Dxun forest.

Avoiding major trails, he sees no other sentient life forms as he makes his way toward the Sith Temple. Caressing the hilt of his vibrosword, Lim Dul thinks to himself

Lim Dul enters a small clearing and finds a small pack of cannocks feasting on the carcass of some other animal.

With a malicious grin, Lim Dul draws his sword and deactivates his camouflage.

"Finally, something to slaughter."

[Halan]

*a small mandalorian patrol is tracking though the jungle's of dxun, the patrol consist's of 5 mandalorian elite solider's and mandalore leading the troop's on the track*

"mandalore what do you seek to find here"

"well you are to young to remember but we once had a base on this moon where we commanded a fleet that had the republic on the run, i seek to regain this planet for the mandalorians but i want to check it is safe"

*the patrol walk deeper into the jungle in search off something that none of them are fully aware off*

Drawing upon the power of the Dark Side, Lim Dul unleashes a bolt of Force Lightning at the nearest beast, frying it instantly.

The remaining 4 cannocks snarl in confusion and anger. Lim Dul leaps forward and brings the blade of his vibrosword down on the neck of one of cannocks, the force of the blow nearly decapitating it.

Digging his heels into the moons surface, he does a backwards sumersault and rolls underneath one of them as it launches itself at him, trying to bite his throat.

As he rolls backwards, Lim Dul slashes upward, gutting the animal flying over him. It crashes into the brush, its life pouring out of the huge slit in its belly.

The remaining two cannocks circle warily. Angry over having thier meal interrupted, they will not let this intruder take their food...

"Come then, let us end this."

[Kapar'in Va]

Again drawing on the power of the Dark Side, Lim Dul reaches out with his left hand and taps into the life force of one of the remaining cannocks. It howls in agony as it dies, dropping where it stood. The last beast charges Lim Dul, who drops into a defensive stance and dodges its attack. Spinning out of the way, he completes his 360^o turn and brings his sword down on the back of its head. It too falls lifelessly onto the forest floor.

Feeling the hatred pulsing through him, Lim Dul sheaths his sword and continues on toward the Sith Temple...

[Halan]

"kamon are you picking up any signal's"

*a very large mandalorian solider resonds in a deep booming voice that send's several cannok's come out of the bush, after a brief wave of blaster fire they fall*

"nothing but cannok's, boma's and several other lifeform's but we are picking up somehing in sector three that could be human or at least twi'lek"

"let's check it out than"

*the group walk's deeper into the jungle's coming across several beast's and dispaching them with ease*

Before long, Lim Dul reaches the Sith Temple. Even for a padawan, the Dark Side is easy to sence. It radiates its power strengthening those who heed its call. Lim Dul pauses for a moment, basking in its Power. Drawing his vibrosword once again, he enters the Temple and begins his search for the holocron that General Sever has sent him to retrieve.

As he moves through the corridors of the Temple, Lim Dul feels his power growing. It is almost as if the Dark Side is feeding him; calling to him, begging him to embrace it. He does not fight it, but rather opens his mind and lets the anger and hatred flow through him. He quickly comes upon a small room in the heart of the Temple. There in the center, is a Sith holocron.

Taking the holocron and stowing it in his pack, Lim Dul reactivates his Force Camouflage, exits the Temple and makes his walk back to his ship.

He encounters no life forms on his trip back to his ship. Stowing his gear, he lifts off, and makes his way back to Korriban.

Initiating the hyperdrive, the Infiltrator leaps into hyperspace.

[Halan]

*after a long dangerous track for non-mandalorians though the jungle the group come across the remnant's of the old mandalorian camp, old system's llike the comm arry and the camp's power source have been over run not by republic troop's or sith troopers but the jungle*

"this is a historic place for mandalorians men, i seek to reclain it for our people, check it out and secure it make sure there are no surprise's"

*the patrol walk's off into the other part's of the camp and i walk towards the main hub of the camp, inside are planning map's and a galaxy read out map. this place is historic for mandalorians and it's former glory will be restored*

Arriving back at Korriban, Lim Dul exits his ship and enters the Sith Academy. Entering the main meditation chamber, Lim Dul knees and closes his eyes. Reaching out through the Force, he lets General Sever know of his success:

*the troop's return from the search off the base*

"what did you find here"

"just some beast's in the hanger and not much else, this base is just how we left it mandalore, shall we send a coded message o the rest of the fleet to converge on dxun"

"no of course not this will be a covert base, this will be our place to keep our eye's and ear's on the republic and the queen of onderan that planet will feel the iron fist of a basilisk attack again i promise you that"

*the troops spend time trying to get the communication system up and running, after much tolling they manage to get it up and running and send a coded comm to mandalore in the unknown region's, several small unmarked frigete's will be on there way to populate the camp within the end of the week*
