Standing outside the Jedi Council's chamber, Kapar'in Va tried to calm his nerves. He was petitioning the Council today for a Master, and was embarrassed to find himself trembling.
::What is the matter with you:: He berated himself. ::You have shown yourself to be a quick learner. You have nothing to be afraid of. All padawans do this. get a hold of yourself::
Closing his eyes and taking a few long, deep breaths, Kaparin reached out to the Force, letting it calm him. After a moment, he was pleased to find himself no longer nervous.
Straightening his robes, he drew himself up to his full height and walked into the chamber, the doors opening themselves as he approached. Walking to the center of the room, he bowed low before the gathered Masters.
"Esteemed Council" he began, happy to find that his voice was strong and calm, "I have come to formally request a Master so that I may continue my training here with the Jedi."
