Skills:
Celrek is an exceptional pilot, soldier, weaponsmith and lady's man. He served in the Republic Military before being hororably discharged after being wounded in a skirmish with pirates in the Hoth System. Celrek felt he was still able to serve, but his CO felt differently...In the last few years, he has served as a technician doing odd jobs for on Coruscant. He is skilled with computers and can do basic repairs.
Lightsaber Forms:
Celrek has never seen a lightsaber (except in holovids). He has no idea how to use one.
Strengths and Weaknesses:
Aside from his considerable piloting and military skills, Celrek is a hardworking employee. But life on Coruscant has been getting him down as of late. He longs to be back in space or, at least, doing something other than setting up computer systems for rich nobles. Celrek has an almost unending reserve of energy and will complete a job no matter how long it takes him or how hard it is. That being said, that same strength is also his biggest weakness. Being discharged left him with a need to prove that he was still a capable worker. He will often take on a job that is out of his league (skill wise), just to prove he can do it. Who is trying to prove anything to is anyones guess...
Gear:
-heavy blaster pistol
-vibroblade
-tech "stuff": parts for assembling computer systems, tools for making repairs, etc.
Ships:
a light freighter (The Rampart) that he uses to travel from system to system looking for better work.
Pets:
Celrek has no time to care for a pet.
Personality:
Intellegent and hardworking, almost to a fault. Celrek has a highly inquisitive nature that sometimes gets him into trouble, as he doesn't always realize when his questions are not wanted. But he means well, and is never malicious. Likes to go to local cantinas and talk with the space pilots who are there, reliving his glory days.
History:
Celrek was born on Dantooine, but moved to Coruscant when he was a child. His father was a doctor and his mother a teacher. His childhood was as normal as could be expected. Celrek was a terrific athelete and a very good student as well excelling in many subjects, though his favorites were the ones where he was able to work with his hands. Shortly before he graduated from "high school" (or whatever the equivalent would be), a Republic Army recruiter came to the school to give a talk. Celrek was hooked immediately. The idea of piloting ships in combat thrilled him. He went home and told his parents his plans. They were less than pleased. After a long, drawn out argument, his father disowned him and threw him out of the house. Though Celrek and his parents would eventually reconcile, he never regretted his decision. Currently, he has left Coruscant to look for work.
