Created by an engineer for the purpose of killing another man, XS-0041 is a custom model. He looks exactly like a human, despite the fact that he is made of durasteel, thus making him extremely heavy.
Upon completion of his mission, he was to be terminated, to destroy the evidence. When XS-0041 found this out, his killed his maker, and took the name Motic Kotap. He has since cloaked himself in a large black cloak, so no one can truely see his real form. He wasn't programed with a regular A.I. He was programmed to learn, just in case he would fail his mission, the maker would be able to strip the core, and rebuild the droid, so that way he could try again. Motic now travels around, and is very easily swayed in his decisions, as he knows no better.
That said, whichever side would approach him, it is most likely that he will join in their cause.
