The History of Yalara

Four Thousand Years Ago
In the fifth age of Yalara a great meteor crashed into the cliff of Yarul, some three thousand miles north-east of the Royal City of Aranath. The cliff of Yarul lay deep in the desert beyond the Denlan's Veil Wall. The meteor sank deep into the cliff and it's core became exposed, revealing a crystal of immense power. A Royal Guard was dispatched to investigate, the leader of this expadition was General 'Gisho' Vant. He travelled through the Denlan Veil and the waistlands beyond and finally came to the cliff of Yarul. He ventured into the caves that were created by the meteor and found the exposed core. The Crystal gave off immense power, a power not unlike that which was used by the Order of Light; though this power was dark. General Vant spent the next seven hundred years in the Caves of Yarul and built a great Temple. At the base of the cliff a city grew, most of it's inhabitants were those sent from Aranath to find what had become of the General. Vant however turned them to his cause....
Three Thousand, Two Hundred Years Ago
General 'Gisho' Vant now had an immense following. He had taught the new ways of Darkness to any who would learn. The Royal City of Aranath and it's Order of Light would soon fall to his power. He began his war against them. Many battles were faught and Vants only obstacle was the Great Wall at Denlan's Veil. This would also be the site of the final battle of what was now being refered to as 'The Crystal Wars'.
Brother Xel led the armies of Aranath, the Monks and Handmaidens of the Order of Light and all loyal to the Royal Family against General Vant and his army of Yarul. The battle lasted for three weeks, many died on both sides. Dark agents of Vant's dark order infiltrated the city of Aranath and murdered the Royal Family. The end finally came when Brother Xel dueled with Vant. Vant however had become extremely powerful and defeated Xel in the short but violent battle.
After his victory General 'Gisho' Vant took rule over both cities and restructured the Order of Light. He dictated that his new Dark agents were to be the core of the Order, they were to be known as the Necromancers, those who were the most powerful and had a flare for destruction. All who had faught in the Royal Guard were now to become lowly Temple Guardians and were most often those who did not use and form of mage power. The Handmaidens were to be renamed the Guardians of Angels and would protect the spirits of those who had died in the Crystal War. And finally, the Brothers of the Order of Light became no more than librarians. They were denied entrance to the deeper catacombs of the Temples and were ordered to guard the scriptures of their now broken Order. In the years to come Vant renamed himself Gisho and he grew in power ever more so. He had begun to feed on the souls of the living. He started to travel offworld, a thing unheard of in Yalara's history. He became a destroyer of worlds, an unstopable force cursed with immortality.
Three Hundred, Eighty Years Ago.
After Gisho dissappeared, Yalara became a peaceful world once more. The seventh age had begun. The Order of Light had reformed and all the sects that were created by Gisho came together as one. Though the powers that the Necromancers still wielded were of dark origins, those who now used them followed a path of Light and were most often those who were strong willed enough to resist the fall into darkness that had consumed Gisho. A group of four had arisen and become the leaders of their respective following. Vincent, Brother of the Order of Light. Minara, Blood Sister of the Necromancers. Karash, General of the Temple Guard. And finally, Kaya, leader of the Guardians of Angels. They were known as the Guardians of Light.
On a dark day, a Lord of the Sith named Tempest came to Yalara and the Temple of Yarul. He brought with him an army of Sith knights. He had heard of the power of the Crystal of Yarul and desired it for his own. He killed all that stood in his way. Yarul became a ruined city. But the Guardians of Light fended him off and denied him the Crystal. In one last attempt, Tempest captured them and used them for his medical and technological research. They were not heard fom for three hundred years.
Eighty Years Ago
The Guardians of Light returned to Yarul, a now deserted city, and Vincent journeyed deep into the caverns of the Temple. He found the Crystal and destroyed it. His reasons are unknown, but once it was destroyed, all the sould that Gisho had fed upon were freed, including those of Jedi Master Zex Marquise Peacecraft and Sophia Alice Mina. The Guardians then left Yalara never to return, sealing the Temple on their way.
Seventy Five Years Ago
The clone of a woman named Sophia Muad'Dib travelled to Yarul and descovered the Sword of Gisho. She removed this artifact from the Temple at great cost. This sword was the weapon used by Gisho to reap the souls of the living and was the only thing that could revive Lord Tempest. Nothing is known of the outcome of his revival, or what happened to the cloned woman.
Fifty Years Ago
Brother Mhelin, a senior Monk in the Order of Light, left Yalara to search for those of the Necromancers that had left thier world to follow in the footsteps of Gisho.
Present Day
Brother Mhelin has tracked down the only surviving Necromancer to have left Yalara. Her name is Velis. They have decided to return to their home world and debate wether or not to begin training poeple from the core world in thier ways and beliefs.
