History:
Dorn grew up in the peaceful planet of Dantooine. He was an outsider, and always has been, getting poked fun at because he wore a breather mask, and laughed at because he was different than all the other kids. He was possibly the only Kel’Dor in the entire villa, and this made him angry. He didn’t want to be made fun of all the time, and he didn’t want to be put down because he was different. It was time to make a stand.
Dorn had full knowledge that his father had possession of an enhanced rifle of his native land from many years back, and grabbed it before going to the academy one day. By this point in time, Dorn had learned a little bit from the Jedi Masters, the code, force push, lightning and choke. His personal Jedi master was Yurin Kyjar, son of Dexon Kyjar.
That day, at the age of 25, after he was completely finished all of his training, he ran outside and went to the top of a cliff, ducking down and laying close to the ground, taking careful aim with the rifle at anyone who should walk out of the academy. The rifle had a silencer on it, and the only mark it left was a small plasma burn, though it could kill instantly should it hit in the correct place. First student that walked out, bam, dead. Second student that walked out, bam, dead.
But the third student that walked out was where he made his life-changing mistake. He took careful aim at the student and shot, only to have the student duck, and the arrant charge hitting his own Jedi master, Yurin Kyjar, directly in the forehead. The Master fell to his knees, devoid of life, no expression in his eyes but pain, such was the expression of Dorn at the exact same moment.
Dorn had just killed his own master… This was inexcusable. The Jedi would not tell Yurin’s son of what took place this day, probably make up some lie about how he died, just so he could still become a great Jedi like the other Kyjar’s, and would not seek revenge. The Jedi would surely not accept him after the murder of two students and a master. But there was a witness still, the third student. He was beginning to run back into the academy, before a charge hit him clean in the back of the head. Make that three students. Dorn had succumbed to his rage, and no longer felt as though he belonged on this planet, or even to stay in connection with the Jedi.
Dorn went into the hangar bay of the academy and stole a ship, later naming it “The Dark Horse” and taking it to Coruscant. He wandered the streets there for a while, until he was approached by a leading member of a bounty hunting syndicate, The League of Shadows. They recruited Dorn as an assassin, after he told them of his kill of a Jedi Master. Dorn has been with the Shadows ever since.
THe league of the Shadows has been disbanded, all bounty hunters resorting to become freelance mercenaries now. While in a cantina one day, he saw a rising member of the exchange who gave him three jobs to do. He wanted a Hutt exchange boss dead, a Trandoshan bounty hunter dead, and the leader of the exchange captured. Dorn set off on his new mission, heading to the Hutt's homeworld of Nal Hutta, to negotiate with Dagwar the Hutt.
