I was actually disappointed in this movie. It has some good moments, but I didn't see the point of the whole story. The guy's trying to get out of the past and move on and no one is letting him because of old grudges. I do get that much of it. The rest of it just seemed pointless. After watching the first few minutes of it, you get a sense as to what the rest of the movie was going to be like. Most of it is spent asking wtf?? The best part of the movie was two sex scenes...hehe. Other than that it was just......well, it is even hard to describe. At the end, someone blurted out the words I so wanted to utter and was thinking myself. He said "WTF?" Out loud and me and my friends lost it. I mean the whole theatre was still sitting in the darkness before the end credits like...."is that all?". I don't recommend this movie at all unless you just would like to see some pretty cool fight scenes....which are still few.

Maybe you should watch Lord of War. The biggest reason why I think its better then "Hitsory of Violence" is Nicholas Cage. He is so cool.
