SPACEBALLS
The RolePlaying Game
Welcome to the SpaceBalls Galaxy!
*remember the dice code!, for every attribute, and skill is the number of 6
sided dice you roll when you use the attribute or skill ( 1D is one die 2D is two dice ect)
Make a name for your character. Try not to use an " earth name" especially
if your playing an alien. Remember this is the SpaceBalls galaxy here.
Pick your characters height, weight, sex, age and a briefe description.
* Getting Started*
If your new to role playing this will help;
Fill out the character sheet, or select a template, grab a pencil and a few 6 sided die ( normal dice).
The right side if the Character sheet describes your characters personality,
and background. You can change some of there elements but make sure those changes are approved by the game master.
each character has six attributes:
Dexterity- your characters eye-hand coordination and agility
Knowledge- your character's knowledge of the galaxy
Mechanical- Your Character's "mechanical aptitude," or ability to pilot vehicals,
starships and the like.
Perception- Your Character's powers of observation, and ability to convince others to do things for him/her
Streangth- Your Character's physical streangth, health, and ability to resist damage.
Technical- Your Character's " technical aptitude, " or ability to fix, repair, and modify all kinds of technology, including starships, droids, weapons, and starships.
Each Attribute has a die code. A typical die code could be 3D. That means roll three six-sided dice whenever the attribute is used.
Example: Adena is playing a space wineo' who she names Poor-memore Sherry. Poor-memore has a Mechanical of 3D. When she slumps behind the controls of a new mercadies sc2000 and TRIES to drive it on a bust space way, the game master tells Adena to make a Mechanical roll. Adena rolls 3 dice and gets a 2,3 and a 5- Poor-memore's Mechanical total is 10.
( If there is a +1 or a +2 after the " D" add that number to your total)
Example: Poor-memore's Dexterity is 3D+2, when Poor-memore throws a stink-grenade, the gamemaster tells Adena to make a Dexterity roll.
Adena rolls a 3,4 and a 5 (for the 3D), be she also adds +2 to the total (for the +2) to get a total of 14.
A dice code of 2D is about average; a die code of 4D is damn good
Skills
Skills are anything your character learns and they can get better over time. Skills include things like Blaster, dodge, drunken fist-a-cuffs, and car-jacking.
A skill is listed under it's attribute; each skill begins with the same dice code as its attribute.
Example: Adena's Dexterity is 3D+2, sence blaster is a dexterity skill, Adena's blaster skill starts at 3D+2
you can add more dice to skills to get better at certian things. If you add one die to a skill, the number infront of the " D" increaces by one.
Example: Adena decides to add one die to Poor-memore's blaster skill, ( a dexterity skill). Poor-memore's blaster is now 4D+2.
You can add one or two dice to a skill, but you only have Seven Dice to spend on all your skills ( you can't improve everyskill-you can only pick the ones you think are important)
