History of the Templar Knights:
The Templar Knights are an anchient order who have been Force Users throughout time. They always served the Jedi and the Republic only, and never asked questions. They originaly wore metal armor and used metal swords without any kind of protection against lightsabers, since most Sith in those times used normal swords instead of lightsabers.
As time progressed, more and more Sith used Lightsabers and the Templar were almost wiped out. They fled into a secret temple on Dantooine where the last of their kind died alone.
Over 500 years later, AJ, the new Templar Leader, found the old temple while visiting Dantooine. He entered it and found all of the relics, dead Templars, and their sacred Tablets that had their ways written down.
Now, under AJ's leadership, the Templar have cortosis weaves in their swords and armor, protecting them from lightsabers. Their shields also have cortosis weaves in them.
AJ keeps true to the old ways by protecting the Republic and making sure that the Order of the Templar Knights serves no one but the Republic and Jedi.
Training Traditions:
Throughout Time, Templar Recruits have been trained in the ways of the Templar. Their teachers are always Senior or Head Knights. They are taught the ways of Swordsman ship, The Templar History, Unarmed Combat, Force Powers, Craftsman ship, and Physical Training.
It is tradition that every Templar Knight makes his own Shield, Armor, and Sword.
