I'll have to say WoW as its style is more of a social atmosphere than Guild Wars; WoW is better graffics in it's own way. I like the idea of meeting random people outside of town that can help you with a quest

I don't think you can say Guild Wars is better by simply saying 'it's free'. Both games have their perks and quirks, and I believe that personally I wouldn't be able to make a choice. You want a more 'epic' world, then i suggest WoW. But if you prefer partying up with familiar faces and tackling situations together, then GW is definately the way to go.

All I can say to that is, thank, because it has no fee isn't a reason in my world because if you break it all down, if you pay for 1 month it is $5 (American) a week (Something I earn in one hour at my job) Some more pros if you ask me would be (Of WoW): - There is actual servers dedicated to Role-play (To what I see of GW, this dosn't happen) - You can jump forwards - Allows 'background' UIs to take place (Trust me, if you had a mod that could tell you the time, when a boss is going to do some timed attack, made you able to move anything and everything around the screen and heck, even play tetris/Tic-Tac-To) - Larger, PvP (Servers dedicated to it, larger scale) - Lighter Atmosphere - More Social game play - The fee acts like a barrier and wards off some retards Downsides: - You have to pay 5us a week - Not as visually stunning as Guild Wars (But then again WoW went for a more comical look) - Not as much as an in depth Storyline - You cannot do major terrain altering things (Unless it is a world event) - Can't dye your armor (But is this really that bad?) - Server shutdown times (Once a week in the morning of the American day - For the one I'm on)
