I just found a lightsaber on republic commando....
on the second area, the republic ship, after you defeat the heavily armed trandoshan, go back and find a blue ventalation shaft. go in it and there will be a mining droid, kill it and then go right. on the ground next to a dead republic soldier will be a lightsaber, similar to lukes in Rotj.
When you see the saber, your character say something like
"A jedi's tool, a more civilized weapon from a more civilized era..."
i think this is a quote from ep 4.
