*keanu stood ready he had a spear in hand already his battle armor was on and he had been inspecting the enviroment already. His ship was just a few 50 meters behind him.*

Barrill himself was wielding a spear while entering the battlegrounds. He was ready to fight, no matter what his weapons were. He figured he would prove the victor in this fight because, he though, Keanu was only skilled with blasters, but Barrill had experience with melee weapons.
OOC: Sorry for the short post, but I have a question. Can I use the Force?

*keanu firmly grabbed his spear and began to charge at barril while doing quick sidesteps to the left and right when he was close enough he jumped and quickly slashed to the right aiming for his head*

OOC: Alright, I won't use it at first though.
ICC: Barrill back-stepped out of the way, shifting his weight backwards as he did so. With the weight transition, he flipped backwards, about 10 feet back. He would let Keanu have the offensive at the beginning of the duel, Barrill wanting to get a measure of his opponent's skill and fighting style.

*keanu came down with a hard blow but he missed. He locked eyes with barril and took another charge at barril now he had the spear pointed back ready to slash at his belly. He sidestepped a few times again and slashed at his left side with the tip*

This man was better than he expected, but still Barrill was able to block. He flung his spear up, batting Keanu's high, and in the same motion, quickly spun and sent his spear to work, slashing for his right hip.

*keanu quickly slashed back at his spear tip met tip as keanu pressed his spear in the air he jumped back and took a low slash at his legs*

Barrill hopped up, out of the way of the slash and over Keanu, his spear trailing, in an attempt to rip off his face.

*keanu who just crouched for his last attack evaded the trailing spear only just he flipped forward when the spear was out of keanu's way and got into a defensive stance waiting for barril to attack*

Barrill nodded and charged Keanu, his spear twirling at amazing speeds above his head. At the last second, he slashed downward, feinting the attack and redirecting the slash to slash at his stomach.
