Tournament Fight - Kex vs. Darth Avangus

[Bralor]

ooc: Thule ash desert, give up match, the first person to give up loses. (Just so no one has to check the one thread to see the rules)

*Kex stood in the middle of the Thule ash desert with his Mandalorian Heavy Armour on as he looked out into the distance waiting for his opponent, Darth Avangus to arrive as Kex held his hand to his Mandalorian Power Sword hilt which was shealthed to his side...*

Approximatly 30 minutes later, Avangus walked into the field, having just arrived.

"Sorry I'm late, it's a long story and had trouble finding the place. It looks like I made it just in time to not be disqualified. Anyways, lets begin!"

He drew his enormous blade, the Vicerious, and got into his ready stance.

[Bralor]

*Kex drew his long Mandalorian Power Sword and held it strong and steadily in front of him ready to ward off any attacks by the Sith as he smiled under his armour*

"I'll let you attack first"

[Zaraki/Renji]

Avangus shrugged, and looked at that weapon. he had seen Pele use a similar one. Both Mandalorians then. They were tough, but Avangus had the force this time. He focused, and forced the Mandalorians sword upwards with the force, while extending his blade to attack Kex from afar, horizontally at the legs.

[Bralor]

*Kex was surprised at the fast attack as he jumped back fast as the sword hit the edge of his armour barely denting it while putting his sword away and pulling out a Heavy Mandalorian Blaster shooting rapidly many times for Darth Avangus*

[Zaraki/Renji]

Avangus called back his sword to it's original state, and held it defensively. He had never tested it, but he figured if it could withstand a lightsaber, it could take a blaster shot, and it was relatively wide, although it did force him in an odd angle, nothing hit him. The sword shook like mad, he was getting tired of this. He focused on the blaster, trying to fracture the lens.

[Bralor]

*Kex saw his blaster rifle lens start to slowly crack, Kex put it away as he pulled out his Mandalorian Power Sword knowing that this would be the easiest way to get things done. Kex spun his sword around and held it in front of him ready to stop an attack*

[Zaraki/Renji]

Avangus brought the blade up in front of his again, so he could see his opponent. He had a stratagy, of sorts, and his opponent was making a mistake. Letting Avangus attack first at long range was always a bad idea. Because he didn't have to move too much, and could remain hard to approach.

He held his blade up almost straight into the air, into what would normally be seen as a defensive stance. Not this time though. His blade extended, shooting high into the air, and coming down at an angle that if a normal person looked at it, they would be blinded by the sun. It shot down, teeth eager to find their way into the armor, and tear it to shreds.

*Kex looked up to see the sun in his eyes. He was lucky enough for his armour that he had to shade from the sun as he was able to step to the side as the blade came crashing down as Kex held his sword ready as he ran at Avangus his fastest and slashing for his chest Kex kept his balance ready just in case a counter attack*

[Zaraki/Renji]

It was little more than a blur as the blade snapped to the original form to defend Avangus. Still, the blade had been too far gone, and Kex's sword had cut Avangus slightly, in the rib, nothing really serious, but it was there.

Avangus wasted no time with a counter attack either. He re-angled his blade slightly, and then shot it towards the Mandalorians shoulder. It was a light blow no matter how you cut it, but if one of the teeth got in...

[Bralor]

*Kex ducked as Avangus attacked and the teeth only rubbed against the top of his shouldered armour which wore away a bit of it while Kex dived to Avangus's side within a second after ducking and rising Kex swung his blade right at the kneecaps of the Sith*

[Zaraki/Renji]

Avangus twisted his blade a bit so that the part closest to the hilt blocked it while the rest of it was like a whip. That had been a risky move on the Mandalorians part, as now it gave him more blade to play with.

He didn't move the part defending him, so Kex wouldn't either, in hope, until it was too late. The rest of Vicerious immediatly tried to constrict Kex's weapon arm, and the teeth began to franticly spin, at a high speed, hoping to tear that armor to shreds. It was like the blade had a mind of it's own, one that matched Avangus's almost perfectly.

[Bralor]

*Kex wasn't able to move his arm for a second as the teeth came spinning at him as Kex was forced to spin his right wrist around with his sword as he forced his arm free but it was a little late for him as he tried to block sending the teeth into another direction but it cut the side of his left bicepts armour as it swung through the armour and a little flesh violently, Kex's arm wasn't that badly hit but his thick armour had a nice cut in his arm piece. Kex ignored the pain using his Mandalorian training as he used that chance as Avangus was open to jump back while pulling a demolition pack out timed at three, Kex tossed it right to Avangus's side as it blew up right near Avangus...*

[Zaraki/Renji]

The second Avangus realized what he was doing, he got his defense up. His blade wrapped the flat part all around Avangus, making a cocoon, and at the same time, he was jumping away, and pushing the bomb away with the force. However, that wasn't enough. THe explosion blew him back a good way, sailing him through the air, and forcing him into the sand... which gave him an idea. He began to sink into the sand, until nothing was left to see. He was below!

He awaited his opponents next move. He couldn't breathe under there for very long, he was relying on the air he had brought with him. In the meantime, he began to shift over to where Kex was.

*Kex realised on what Avangus was doing. He used the force to follow Kex. Kex immediatly found a large rock sitting around to the side as he hoped onto that and having his sword ready for any sudden outbursts Kex realised that breaking through the rock and be hit directly underneath could be done with a lightsaber, but he knew sword can't break rock as Kex quickly jabbed a medpack into his arm as he started to feel the drag on it and it slowly helped heal but didn't heal complete. Kex stood with his sword in front of him ready for anything*
