I smiled at my opponent, raised my YU-19 and opened fire. It was a combination of machine gun and shotgun: it fired as rapidly as a machine gun and the shots were like a shotgun and the actuall bullets were like those of a DC-17, a Commando Rifle.
My shots were accurate. He would need to be fit to doge them.

*hoorex backfliped and twirled dodging the first few volleys...then activated his guantlets, a faint red glow appeared.
after the glow the rest of the bullets simply bounced off, falling to the ground...
hoorex then pulled out his own ripper and open fired*
"FOR MANDALORE!!"

I leapt to the side, rolling out of the way. We had big guns. Big deal. I brought out my double-bladed vibroblade and pounced at the opposing Mandalorian, swishing my blade wildly.

*i batted the blade to the side as i smashe the butt of the gun against the oncoming attackers face....he was good but not experienced enough i thought...
i then walked back giving him time to catch his breath*

I ducked before bringing my vibroblade up in upper-cut style, scratching his chin. This was followed closely by my powerful kick.

*the vibro-blade cracked my neck back...but with my mandalorian instincts i grab the uncoming foot, twist it and hurl him to the floor
then i take out my custimized ripper and fire a few volleys of ethrium charges*

I rolled to the side, feeling a blaster wound right on the edge of my armour. You could see my scratched skin. I leapt back and withdrew my YU-19 and opened fire. I fired at the floor around him, decimating the arena. I then fired at him. This was fun.

*again my shields held strong....this recruit would have to think of some new tactics. simply firing at me endlessly would tire him, not to mention make him run out of ammo...
as for him firing at the ground around me...i had no idea what that was going to do, i mean we're standing on solid ground.
suddenly i burst forward, giving him a knee to the stomach and then a elbow to the back of the head. As he fell to the ground i kicked him, making him roll away...then i pulled out my Ripper and fired a few bursts*

Shame about his shields. I threw all my weapons down. Time to fight hand-to-hand.
The ground was decimated by the powerful shots.
His blows were strong but I was a Basic Soldier, though he was a higher rank. I punched him heavily in the guts, my hand pummelling through his armour.

*i felt that last blow to the stomach...i lurched forward(not sure if thats a word, just go with it) in pain...
man,he got me good...
well ill have to get him back....
i took my ripper and slammed it into his face as he attacked again...then a knee to the stomach and finally i kicked him back so he could charge me again...*

I coughed up some blood and spat it in his face. Charging at him would be stupid. Instead I circled him, weary of his every move. I breathed out through my nostrils and held my breath. I rolled across the floor at a fast pace and I jumped up with a kick right up between his legs.

I was kicked back and coughed up some blood. My body crashed against the wall. I looked around. I was defeated. I looked up.
"I am a Sargeant, not a recruit. Well done, Mandalorian. You have defeated me," I said honourably.
