Tornament Fight: Adamis vs Duncan

*Adamis trys to use Master Statsis on Duncan.*

"Not really clear to me...but yes, that is my intention."

*By breaking my connection with Adamis, I am able to concentrate and stop the statis from affecting me. Adamis is dropped to the ground, and he lands on his feet gracefully. I throw one sabre at him, and send Force Lightning at him immediatly after he lands.*

*Adamis stands up quickly and uses one lightsaber to block Duncans, and try to cut the handle in half, while his other lightsaber absorbs Duncans force lightening.*
"You need more than intentions to win."

"Ahh, but it helps, doesnt it?"

*I animate my thrown sabre using the Force, and have it attempt to spear Adamis through his right thing. I also use Malacia to give it a better chance of working as I send the dizzy spell towards Adamis.*

*Adamis feels the effects of the doozy spell but pushes through it. Using both of his lightsabers he turns to face Duncan's lightsaber. He manages to block it but it grazes his side a little.*
"So does skill if you hadn't noticed. Winning a fight with just the force is easy but when you combine it with skill, even powerful Jedi or Sith can fall."
*Adamis, uses a heal on his side and a Force residence to get rid of the doozyness. He then jumps towards Duncan, lightsabers at the ready.*

*I jump back to match Adamis's attack, keeping him at a distance. At that time, I catch my sabre as it comes back to me.*

"Dont worry, I have more than enough skill with the Force...."

*I close my eyes, and focus, trying to remember what Kain did...and it comes to me suddenly. Keeping my eyes closed, I send a Searing Light out to meet Adamis's open eyes. I open my own and send an attack out with my own two sabres as I rush towards Adamis.*

ooc: Searing Light is a painful attack that, to the unguarded eye, can cause devastating effects with the target's eyes, causing temporary blindness and a some pain. It has been declared a legal and unique force power...

*Adamis is indeed blinded! His other senses however are perfectly fine. He concentrates and can hear Duncans as well as him running towards him. Adamis quickly trys force sight and can see Duncans lightside aura as he trys his attack. Adamis counters with his own lightsabers.*
"I wasn't meaning skills in the force, I was meaning skills of the body! Training your body and other senses give you skills that can save your life, when the need araises."
*Adamis points one of his hands at Duncans chest and does a point-blank range Force Lightening.*

*The lightning surges through him, and I freeze for a moment, thinking Im hurt.... but i remain alright. I attack Adamis quickly before he realizes im alright.*

"Heh, forgot about this. My handy Electrical Captitance Belt. Never leave home without it...."

ooc: and yes, i did have that before this spar. i just forgot about it

*Adamis stands up as his sight returns.*
"Relaying on toys now are we? I hope you have alot more of those, cause you are going to need them."

"I have a robotic eye.... you woulda never guessed would you? Oh, and my blasters of course.... but this spar is sabres only, so they wont help But for now..."

*Using the Force, I take the energy stored inside the capitatance belt, and add my own Sith Lightning to it. I send it out directly towards Adamis at the same point-blank range.*

*Adamis has to take the hit and is pushed back several metres. He collapses onto one and puts one hand on the ground and the other on the wound where Duncan hit him. Lucky some of his earlier force resistence was still in effect so the damage was minimized but that does not stop it from hurting.*
"You will pay for that Duncan. Trust me, you don't want to make me mad!"
*Adamis starts to heal using the force with his hand that is to his stomarch.*

"Adamis....the Code...?"

*I use a fairly weak Force Choke on Adamis, which he dispels after hardly a moment. Once he hits the ground, I use a Force Wave on him, however.*

*Adamis stands up and uses a Force Wall to stop the Duncans wave.*
"The code has a time and place, all we have to decide if it is that time or place!"
*Adamis leaps forward using the power of Force speed, he is on top of Duncan in a second and is attacking him have multiple angles.*

*Sabres ignited, I manage to block Adamis's first two blows before he lands one on my right shoulder. At this point, I use a Master Speed to block Adamis's blows with ease*

*Adamis uses force speed as well and the two fighters, again become a blur of motion, each blocking the others attacks, however Adamis, being the more skilled with a lightsaber, is pushing Duncan backwards towards the wall of the arena.*
