Tornament Fight: Adamis vs Duncan

[Kentos Fey’lya / Adamis]

*Adamis waits in the arena for his opponent to arrive so that they can begin the fight.*

[Lakkerun Joh'had]

*I arrive at the dueling ring on Taris, and see my fellow Jedi standing at the other side of the ring.*

"Hello Adamis. Any terms you'd like for this particular duel?"

[Kentos Fey’lya / Adamis]

*Adamis pushes with his back, off the wall he was stand next to and begins to walk towards Duncan.*
"How about no weapons other than lightsabers? You can use any force power and no killing blows. That ok with you?"

[Lakkerun Joh'had]

"Sounds good to me."

*i take out my dual sabres and ignite them both. The green luminescent energy blades spring out instantly, and i spin them around to listen to the familiar voosh they make as they twirl*

"Ready when you are"

[Kentos Fey’lya / Adamis]

"I am always ready Duncan."
*Adamis just stands there, waiting.*

[Lakkerun Joh'had]

"Fine, Ill take the initiative..."

*i use a Master Speed to start a good pace, then run swiftly towards Adamis, both sabres extended. As I reach him, I take a swing at both his left pauldron and his right ankle in almost a spinning motion*

[Kentos Fey’lya / Adamis]

*Adamis uses force reflexes and speed to pull out both of his lightsabers, ignite them and block Duncans attacks within inches of himself.*
"Never assume a fighter is unarmed unless you see them totally naked Duncan. It can be a fatal mistake."
*Adamis Force jumps backwards into a back flip and when he lands he sends a force push, master level, towards Duncan.*

*I turn to see Adamis using a Force Push. I let the attack hit me, and slow my descent away using the Force. I move about 2 meters away from my starting point, in total*

"Unarmed? Who thought you were unarmed? Of course I knew you were armed. You have the Force, dontcha? Thats amred enough for me."

[Kentos Fey’lya / Adamis]

"This is true, but the force sometimes is no match for a lightsaber. Especially in the hands of a skilled Weapons-master."
*Adamis runs towards Duncan and takes a swing with his purple lightsaber at his left arm.*

[Lakkerun Joh'had]

*i create a very small and cramped Force Bubble in time to block the blow. It disappates easily after the sabre hits it, however*

"Ya think?"

*I aim a blow with the bottom of my lightsabre hilt at Adamis's face after the Bubble disappears*

[Kentos Fey’lya / Adamis]

*Adamis blocks the attack and jumps back a few steps.*
"The force is a powerful allie but if you over-use it and have no back-up then when you can't use the force, then you are in serious trouble. A lightsaber will never run out. It will always be with you when you need it."
*Adamis jumps straight at Duncan with one lightsaber across his body and the other at his side, ready to be pulled around in a large arc at Duncan.*

[Lakkerun Joh'had]

*i block the first attack with my right-hand sabre, and attempt to dodge the second one to my right. It singes my robes a bit near my shoulder, but I remain unharmed.

Taking another quick sidestep to the right, I attack Adamis with both my sabres. My right-hand sabre attempts a hit on Adamis's shoulder, while my left-hand weapon sends an attack on his elbow*

"You'll pay for ruining my threads, Adamis! I have to look sharp for all my public appearances!"

[Kentos Fey’lya / Adamis]

*Adamis drops his shoulder to miss Duncans attack and blocks the other saber. He then knocks out Duncans feet with a force push.*
"Only use the force when you have to or when a perfect moment presents itself to you. This way you will be stronger for a fight and reserve you force energy for when you really need it."

[Lakkerun Joh'had]

*As my feet let out behind me, I put my hands to the ground and flip backwards, away from Adamis. I land on my feet nimbly, and face him*

"Well I guess Im just lucky. I dont get exhausted easily..."

*I use Malacia on Adamis, then charge him, ducking and sending a low attack with both of my sabres at his right knee*

[Kentos Fey’lya / Adamis]

*Adamis resists the Force power and jumps over Duncan and lands so they are back to back. He rolls forward, away from Duncan, and twists on the ground so he can send one of his lightsabers flying towards Duncans back.*
