i like them. I didn't at first, but they grew on me. Their gimmick is the cartoons. Since they are all from other bands, they gave themselves alter-egos. When they play in concert, there is a curtain in front of them that has their cartoon personas "acting" out the music for them. Del the funky homosapian (also Deltron 3030)rocks. He is Ice Cube's cousin. His solo stuff is pretty good too. And Dan the Automator is pretty good too. But anyways, that is just my opinion.

really good brit band they had another line of hits a few years ago but they seem to be better this time still couldn't get crappy acon of the top place

i have really only heard the old songs and they were pretty good - i havnt heard much of their new stuff tho - but i give the gorillaz a thumbs up
