I think it would be interesting to go, but i would want to understand it first. I have seen highlights on TV, but I can never tell what is happening. I think if I understood the scoring system and could recognize teams, I would enjoy the sport.

Basicly you get 5 points for a try (crossing the line and pushing down the ball to the ground) and then get a free kick basicly which is worth 2 points if it is over. For any other kick that gets over, say a kick from the field or penality, it is worth 3 points. Another thing to note is that there is no forward passes as in America 'football', so you have to fight for every metre you gain, instead of just tossing it half-way down the field to some guy who is waiting. Mkae for a more interesting and heart stopping game.

so, do you have to physically carry the ball over the line? If I am ahead of you but outside the arc, and you are standing inside it, can I throw the ball to you?

Not really sure what the last part is about, but yes you have to physically have to push the ball into the ground on the other side of the try-line to have it be classed as a try. There are many cases where the ball has been kicked into the zone but has gone out the back line to make it out or where a team has push the ball down inside their own zone (which gets them a 20m kick off).

Yeah, I wasn't very clear, but you answered my question anyways. It sounds like a game that looks confusing, but once you get it, it is really easy to play (well, except for teh other team trying to hurt you!)

Well there are still alot of rules of things you aren't allowed to do, such as spear-tackling (Basicly lefting a guy of the ground nd kind of spining him so that he comes down at least partially head-first into the ground since that is super dangerous!), so as long as people follow those rules it fine, but there are still alot of injuries.

from the highlights I have seen on TV, it looks like organised chaos. People all seem to be running around, but there is still a sense of purpose to it all.

Yeah well there are no set plans like in American Football, just basicly some suggestions of ways they might want to do things (such as pass to this guy if possible and let him run through the line then pass it this other guy if possible) so it is basicly up to the players to decide how and where they want to do things and the whole team doesn't away know whats going on. If you see a gap, go for it kind of stuff.
