bloody hell.. the Xbox 360 is sold out everywhere in canada and we wont have more until January. I know.. It's pretty damned stupid, and oddly I don't know anyone who has it or pre ordered it so it's really fucked up.. i know this one guy, who bought two of them, and sold one on ebay for $700 american, and hes planning on selling the other |

I meant SOCOM II, though. I thought you'd know that. But, yeah, SOCOM WAS boring. SOCOM II was better than Halo in Online Gameplay. Both were pretty low quality compared to Halo. Metroid Prime blew me away... and Golden Eye and Perfect Dark were awesome. Halo is the overall better game out of them. Metroid lacked a multiplayer but made up for its story, graphics and HUGE worlds. Perfect Dark and Golden Eye are without a doubt the greatest of their age, I still play them. SOCOM II's reviews wernt outstanding. IGN gave is 8.9, Gamespot gave is 8.5... Halo, Metroid, Perfect Dark and Goldeneye all managed 9.5 and above. Yes, but they all focus mainly on Graphics. Yeah, so what if the Graphics don't win an award? I don't care. SOCOM II was alot easier and alot more fun to play online than Halo or Halo 2 Ever were! |

The enemy AI is beyond superior in Halo and Halo 2. If one of their shields run low, they may go and hide behind a rock. If they have given up all hope, they will come and start hitting you with their guns... then dont forget we have Warthogs, and scorpions etc... SOCOM is boring, the game play is good but it doesnt come close to Halo. Halo's AI is WAY beyond anything the PS2 is capable of and nobody concentrates on the graphics anymore... but they are better regardless. Taken from Gamespot about Halo: Not only is this easily the best of the Xbox launch games, but it's easily one of the best shooters ever, on any platform. 9.7/10 IGN: Is playing Halo worth the $350 it will cost for an Xbox and a game? If you can appreciate videogames and have been waiting for the next step, then the answer is absolutely. If you're a casual fan and don't buy more than a handful of games a year, then you still need to get Halo. It's a can't miss, no-brainer, sure thing, five star, triple A game. Microsoft created the Xbox so we could have games like Halo. Don't miss it. 9.7/10 |

Halo I agree is one of the best and can't wait till H3 and what about Doom III though the expansion blowed.

Have a 360, got Madden 2k6, and King Kong
However some people got them to only sell on E-bay.. one which just ended sold for over $4,000 US, another one which will be going another few houras is at about $3,000 US

If the trend in Launch models of video game systems holds true, all these models that are out there right now are going to have a high probability of being buggy. Plus, since they are all sold out there is no way in hell of getting one until at least my birthday (end of April). |

I heard all the 360's were crashing and they had to send them back... Yeah there were loads of bugs. Personally I've never like the XBOX much, it's not so much about the games or quality, I'm just used to the PS system, and a lot of my favourite game series' are realsed on it. |

i don't have it yet. I want to wait to see what games come out. If i don't like them, there is no point in buying a system to play the games I can play on my regular xbox. I will probably reconsider though once Halo 3 and KOTOR 3 come out (if/when they do).
