Ruapehu and the west coast 'cuse it looks like Middle Earth!
The west coast is like the outskirts of mordor and Ruapehu like the white mountains of Gondor...

Well, if you want to get technical, seeing as how they DID film LOTR there, you could say it IS Middle Earth... LOL.
That waterfall is reaaalllly pretty.

yeah but I though that these areas looked more Lotrish than the others. Well you know Helms Deep and the White City of Gondor. That was filmed just 10 minutes drive up the main road from where my parents live now.  |
