befor K1 would be sorta dumb, because too much history is already written ... and the events of Tales of the jedi/ golden age of the sith, is too freash,, and if you dont know that history then your just going to screw yourself up...this way history is a blank slate to mess with and cant F*(k up events to come

Before Kotor is too much of a hassle. Too many characters and time deferances to deal with.
While afterward would change somethings. The Sith would be non-existant.

I dont know how long was Exar before KOTOR1 but if it was close there would be still fallen jedi. And the academy on Korriban his very old so it would still be there

The Sith in KOTOR and KOTOR 2 are just Dark Jedi. They are not really "Sith" at all. Kriea explains this. Exar Kun was not a Sith, he was a "Sith". Big difference. As for Sith Always existing,The Rule of Two stopped the Sith. When the Emperor died the Ancient Sith teachings died with him. The Emperor and Darth Vader were the last.
