OOC: Miners, droids and the crystal spiders have been disappearing or dying strangely. No one knows why. They asked for the Jedi to investigate. Kyra knows the head man from her smuggling days and agreed to go. AJ snuck along...lol

*She stops as she hears some rustling ahead. She puts her hand on AJ's shoulder.*

"Not that way. One of the spiders is down that way. We are going to have to find another way through."

*She pulls up the datapad and looks for another route. She walks away from him heading further inside.*

ooc: so far, Kyra and I are just exploring the mines on Kessel for something. I don't know what.

*Runs after her as quietly as possible*

"Next time, tell me which way you're going!"

*Continues to scan the area with the Force*

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

"Sorry. I thought you were right behind me."

*She takes a few more steps before she kicks something accidentally. She bends down and touches it. She can feel a body. It still feels warm to the touch. She feels the person's blood under her fingers and reaches through the Force to check him for injuries. She sits back on her heels and sighs.*

"Looks like we are heading in the right direction. Something just got a miner about an hour ago."

*She curses and stands back up.*

ooc: does it have something with Arael's father?

*Winces*

"Language."

*grabs Kyra's hand so that he can follow her easier*

OOC: Eroin has nothing to do with this....lol

"Sorry. Just wish we could have gotten here sooner."

*They hear a rustling ahead. She looks using the Force and can sense another spider busy spinning the glitterstim. She starts to slowly back away and trips over the body. She falls down hard and the rustling stops.*

"AJ, get out of here.....quickly......run and don't look back......"

*She curses again and hurries to her feet. The spider starts bounding towards them protecting the lair.*

"I'm not leavin' you, Kyra! You helped me, now it's my turn to return the favor by helpin' you!"

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She grabs his hand and runs down the shaft they just walked down. The spider behind starts to gain ground.*

"We can't outrun this thing....we gotta outsmart it. I'd hate to kill her. They need her for the mines."

*She keeps running and sees a small opening where a shaft was about to be built but excavation stopped. She runs for it as the spider catches up to them. The spider raises a leg ready to impale Ky and she rolls out of the way just in time.*

"AJ, get in there now!!"

*Slides feet first into the opening*

"WHOA!!!"

ooc: looks like you've gotten yourselves into quite another pickle. Trouble really does follow you around, doesn't it?

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*The spider lifts up two legs and again goes to impale Ky. She dodges one easily and comes close to getting clammered the second time. She walks a distance from the spider away from the hole.*

"Come on, sweetie....come to mama....that's it...come on."

*The spider walks runs towards her and Kyra uses Master speed to get past the spider and jump into the small tunnel. She leans back against the tunnel smiling.*

"That was almost fun."
