Strange Occurrences (Kessel)

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*While attending to matters on Coruscant, a person associated with the glitterstim mines on Kessel approached her requesting the Jedi look into the strange disappearances of miners, droids and the deaths of some of the "voracious energy spiders" that formed the glitterstim. She agreed to look into the matter.*

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*The Storm exits hyperspace and decides to live a little dangerously. She pulls away from the Kessel Run and skirts the Maw Cluster. She guns the engines as the adrenaline pumps through her veins.*

"Ahh. The excitement. The danger. The things I miss."

*Memories of several runs here fill her mind as she expertly moves towards the planet, if the astroidal mass could even be called that.*

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She brings the Storm into the orbit and sends her signature down requesting permission to land. While awaiting permission, she goes back into the cargo area of the ship and pulls out her equipment from her smuggling days. She pulls on her thermal gear and pulls out her breathing apparatus. She hears the comm and makes her way back to the cockpit.*

*************COMM***************

Dock Officer:"Welcome back, Foxxy. Good to see you. Permission granted."

*She chuckles.* "Foxxy...I haven't heard that in a long time."

*She brings her ship down for a landing.*

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She lands and pulls her mask on. She makes her way to the ramp door to be greeted by her friend, Olask.*

"Wow. I didn't know there would be a welcoming committee, Olask."

Olask: *grins* Well, you've been gone long enough, we had to make sure it was true that you were coming.

*She puts her hands on her hip and laughs.* "When have I ever broken a promise?"

*He gets ready to say something and she puts her hand up.*

"Ok ok....forget I asked that. Tell me what you've got."

Olask: *frowns* "Walk with me." *He leads her out of earshot of some of the cargo loaders so they can talk privately.*

"I've never seen you this serious, Olask. It has to be bad."

[The Madet Legacy]

*The Warrior's Legacy exits Hyperspace in the system and begins the decent towards the planet*

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*He leads her into the facility. In the main control area there are monitors everywhere showing different areas of the mines. The personnel inside are busy working at their respective consoles monitoring all procedures.*

*She whistles.* "Nice set up."

*He stops before a console and says something to the tech there. The tech gets up and walks away. Olask sits down and opens up a recorded comm transmission.*

This is weird. The droids here appear to have just been shut down. I'll get right on them.

*pause*

Who's there? Identify yourself!

AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

*Static*

*She raises an eyebrow.* "Did anyone go in to investigate?"

*He turns around and looks at her while still sitting.*

Olask: Everyone that goes in there doesn't come back out. I can't risk any more men. I thought the Jedi might be able to help.

[The Madet Legacy]

*The Legacy lands near what he THINKS is a working compound*

(Ships are there, so....you automatically assume!)

*Steps out, holding his double bladed saber and his single saber attached to his belt, just in case*

*Walks to a door*

Guard: Who are you?

"None of yer business."

Guard: Answer or be terminated!

"One quick question....Is Kyra Maans in there?"

Guard: Maybe....

"You will let me in."

*the weight of the Force is in his words*

Guard: I will let you in.

*The guard opens the door*

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*She thinks for a moment.* "You are right. Are you sure it isn't an internal job? Do you have records of that area before and after the attacks?"

Olask: Yeah. *He stands up and points to the chair.*

*She sits down and he reaches across to pull up the camera feed. She watches the feed carefully.*

"Wait..back it up a little....right there. What is that?"

*He leans in close to look.* Olask: I've never seen that before.

*She stands up.* "Neither have I.....but we're gonna find out."

*Sirens go off near Kyra*

*Intercomm blares to life*

INTERCOMM: Unauthorized entrance. Repeat, Unauthorized entrance detected in sector V-Alpha.

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*Olask curses and goes to the security cameras.*
Olask: REPORT

*The cameras show a Jedi. Kyra goes to the monitor and sighs.* "Silence the alarms. I know who that is."

*She curses.*

Olask: I thought you were coming alone.

*She looks at him clearly not happy.* "So did I. Can you take me to that sector?"

*He nods and leads her out.*

*Hears the alarms*

I'm about to have a LOT of company very soon....

*The alarms stop*

Hope that's a good thing.

*stops walking farther into the complex*

[Lady Zahra/Jules]

*They approach the area and Olask begins to walk up to AJ when she puts her hand on him.*

"No...wait. Let's scare him a little." *She giggles.* "You go and have about 5 men surround him telling him he is under arrest. Let's see him try to work his way out. I'll be nearby ready to step in. Just dont hurt him."

*Olask smiles at her.* "Still the same girl....just a Jedi. Alright, I'll do it." *He speaks in his comm and a group of men surround AJ.*

*Raises his hands*

"Hey, hey! Guys! We can work this out right?"

*they raise blasters to him*

"Apparently not!"

*Uses the Force to push them into the wall, knocking all but two out*

"You do not want to hurt me. I'm no challenge for great warriors like yourselves!"

Guards: You're not even worthy of our greatness! Let's go to the mess hall!

*The guards leave and AJ smirks*

Works every time.....

*Chuckles lightly*

*She and Olask walk up behind him. She taps him on the shoulder.*
