There is alot of difference between someone saying
"I believe that the church was founded on greed" (which is true in a way)
and someone saying something like this (just an example, I wouldnt really say this)
"I hate Hinduism, its soo stupid. They pray to monkeys!"
Get what I'm saying?

i was talking about medieval times, heres an example of what i mean.
the Pope declared the Order of the Knights Templar heretics simply because the king of france owed them a vast amount of money.
thats just a small example.
i do not hate catholics or the vatican, if anything i would say i admire them.

Our dumb teachers in Social Studies started with the Knights Templar and didn't explain why they were heretics.... I guess I know why now

I have no problem with the modern day church but the churches of the middle ages were... well...
They spoke in Latin, so nobody could understand them and told you to fear god because he would send you to hell if you didnt.
They would hang or stake you if you went against Gods will.

btw in the last census if 10,000 people say they belong to a religion they have to put it on the new census meaning they will put jedi on it because some many people filled that in as there religion  |
