no im doing stalin in A-leval history but what are the white and red terrace's The pink and White terraces were a great natural wonder, the so called 8th wonder of the world, they were in NZ and they were Pink and White volcanic terraces that had hot mineral pools on them. They were breath-taking! They were a huge tourist attraction in NZ in the late 1800's but they were covered completely by a volcanic eruption in like 1898 or something from the same volcano that made them, and covered the village that was near them for the tourists, killing many by trapping them in there huts, under several metres of ash! So that just shows how the Earth can create, and the Earth can take away! |
