[glow=pink,2,300]Lesson #......??.....Next Lesson..lol...Asking the Person You Love Out Steady[/glow]
Ok, now you have charmed your way into the heart of a lovely lady and want to make things more exclusive and special. You're ready for the next step. What do you do?
Definition of going steady: Admitting you have feelings for one and only one person and wanting to spend time with them only. This is a serious stage in a relationship that both parties enter into equally. Both are still getting to know each other more deeply and the initial just dating around phase has ended.
First: Plan ahead!! Take her someplace very romantic and special. Think of what she really likes to give you hints. You CAN buy her a gift but it isn't necessary.
Examples: -Where was your first date? -Somewhere outside where you both can be alone. -Take her to her favorite restaurant or to somewhere scenic in your car.
Secondly: Be able to express to her exactly how you feel about her. Tell her how you feel when she is around you and how much you love her...if you've gotten to this point. If you haven't told her you love her, then it is about time you did so if you want to date her exclusively. Give her time to express how she feels about you too. Remember that most girls love it when the guy makes the first move in the dating game.
Third: It is old school but so flattering and good mannered to meet the parents and get to know them. If things go well, you might call these people your in laws...lol. Not only that, but you can see more about the woman you care for by looking at her family life. See what makes her happy, what troubles her....you see her in her natural habitat so to say. However, just because her parents are loons, doesn't mean that she is a loon. Reserve judgement and don't jump to conclusions.
Fourth: Now that you are going steady, you must be willing to listen to her more and be there for her just as she will be there for you. She isn't there just for your enjoyment and visa versa. No, instead you are two people wanting to support each other emotionally and care deeply for one another. Give time to her but don't neglect your friends either. If things don't work out, then you might find yourself with losing more than a girlfriend. Yet, tunnel vision is normal and she should get some of your time. Be careful you don't crowd her too much or seem too distant....this can also have dire consequences.
Last but not least. Enjoy! It is nice to have someone else to lean on and support you day in and out. Treasure these moments.
If you have any questions, please feel free to post them here and I will respond as soon as I can...hehe.

Has anyone ever said that you take after your mother or father, Keanu? You have the same color eyes? nose? hair? etc? or you act like one of them?
Here's a biological example: Cross a red peony and a white peony and you get a pink peony....it shows both traits (in color) of both parents....red + white = pink.
OR cross them and get a red plant as offspring. Then the plant is said to have the same traits as the red parent plant.
Sound a little better or did I just confuse the hell out of you?lol
