I was looking through a comic book called star wars visinaries. I saw a story about Owen, Beru and 3 year old Luke. A cloaked figure runs up to them. Owen tries to shoot him but the figure breaks his blaster on his head. Then the figure says he can sense someone. He talks about how he was 2 days late on Kamino and 1 day late on Geonosis. Then he says how he killed the medics on Polis Massis and Watto and how he saw Anakins almost dead body. Then Obi-wan comes out of the ground and draws his lightsaber. The figure takes off his cloak and reveals this.  Maul! They begin to battle and Obi-wan's about to kill him but has visions about Qui-gon Anakin and Yoda. Then Owen gets up and shoots him. Awsome, right? |

Maul is dead. This isn't part of canon, nor is it technically part of the EU. It is like a "what if" story, not to be accept as canon. Even the writers state that.

this is stupid, if you read Darth Maul Shadow hunter you know that if Maul did survived that fall he would have killed himself for being defeated by a stupid jedi padawan.

Awsome, right?[/quote] I own that comic book and it's just a bunch of EU storys. It's got a few before Ep.3 and a few afetr Ep.3 I have only read it three times through though.

Yes, but as I said this book is NOT to be considered canon in any way, shape or form. Even the writers said so.
