For a first time, great work!!! We had a point where I think some of us were making their own lightsabers (Great thanks to Adena), maybe you should try that

What Program are you useing?, looks like Blender or Max
alittle professional tip:
No matter what it is you model, be it complex, like dynamic cloth, or a simple tennis ball.....the key to making your model LOOK its best all rest in three things
Textures Bump Mapping Lighting

3D Cafe's freestuff will have a tone of links, also just do a search on Blender, Rhino3d,,, For Maya personal learning, which is great for 3D rookies to actually learn modeling go to www.alias.comget Maya learning personal edition OR lastlly check hack sites like WarezDLL, or download LimeWire, or Bittorrent though I strongly suggest only doing that IF YOU HAVE A GOOD ANTI VIRUS ANTI SPYWARE program JUST INCASE those three are pretty safe that way you can get the full main programs, and the cracks Im debating sence I have alot of time in a studio, putting together a quick tutorial with screen shots on making a realistic saber, with reflections shadows, and the works

I’ve discussed Net Sculpturing with many GFX makers and we came to the conclusion that making a Net Sculpture is not worth the time you spend on it. I would far rather focus on GFX making so I can have a GFX that looks nice rather than an image which is cool but just looks like shit on a site or in my Sig.
