The Beginning of the End

Well I was bored a long time ago and I came up with it, yes it might have a few errors like how I was in a broken star fighter but managed to get to tatooine, and i dunno how to translate droid so i made up stuff, that'll all be fixed. And this has proof that i made it on anotehr site, but i can't give that away since i fear of getting banned.

Time Period: 27 ABY

Main Caracter: Reigo Folley:Jedi Knight, 6'2 feet tall, short spikey black hair, hazel color eyes, wears a long Jedi cloak, has 1 blue lightsaber

A long time ago, in a galaxy far,far away.....

Star Wars

It is a troublesome time for the galaxy as foreign invaders sweep across the galaxy attacking the worlds of which use to belong to Galactic Alliance. These new invaders have taken over many of the worlds in which are important to the Galactic Alliance, crippling them further.

The newly reformed Republic, now called Galactic Alliance, has found a new Supreme Chancellor in these times, and the New Republic Senate has been reestablished. But they are finding it difficult to keep up with the invaders. The Galactic Alliance has tried many times to regain itself during the war only to be shot down by the invaders quickly.

The also Newly reformed Jedi council is having its troubled times stopping these new invaders.This is again another time in which the Jedi have fought to survive throughout this horrific battle between the two.

Out in deep hyperspace one Jedi races time to the newly reformed Jedi council to tell the Council of some new information on these invaders.

Prolouge

Prologue

Out deep in the fringes of outer rim space where nothing is heard, seen, or touched, lies one An A-wing star fighter all alone in space with battle marks over it and inside lies a Jedi with no understanding of how to get home. The Jedi sat there looking around at each system seeing sparks fly out and the Jedi looked up and knew this was hopeless. He had a hyperdrive intact, but his com and his important engine had stopped, and he knew the hyperdrive wasn't fit to make it all the way back to Coruscant. The Jedi looked around hopelessly knowing he had to think fast because the information he had, had to be delivered soon. He sat back looking around at the space and then started talking into the com hoping to find it magically fixed.

"This is Fighter 1 can you hear me? Hello? Please respond I am stuck out in the Outer Rim with some main systems shut down. I need help please help."*No response*"God dam piece of crap."*He hits the com system and a few sparks fly out.*"F5-D5 can you fix anything on this ship?" The Jedi asks trying to keep his anger down

"Dwoooo eeeeeep bop."

"What you mean we are already on back up power, we had most regular power a half hour ago?"

"Beeep."

"Ok ok where is the nearest inhabited planet."

"Dooeeeeep rooop."

"Great you mean that the closest planet is Tatooine. But wait haven't they been attacked by the Yuuzhan Vong?"

"Dwoooooop beeep."

"Ohh so they haven't been, good. Set course for Tatooine then, lets see if we can get anything out of those low lives."

"Beeep Boop."

The Jedi remembered the last time he went to Tatooine and encountered some of the most stupidest people he had ever met, many of which he hoped he would never see again. He had gone there 5 years before the war had started to go see someone there. The image flashed in his mind as he remembered the moments as if it had been yesterday.

He had arrived on Tatooine and he landed there and he left to go meet his friend at the local cantina. The Jedi looked around seeing the poor souls who lived here and watched as they begged for food and credits. The Jedi felt pity on them and he continued to walk along the street, down to the cantina. While he was walking he heard someone run up and he saw a woman rush up to him, and out of nowhere she ran up to the Jedi and started hitting him. The Jedi had no clue what was going on and he pushed the woman away and watched as she fell to the ground looking back at him. The woman smiled and then she started crying, and the Jedi noticed this but didn't do anything and he just stared at the woman. The woman must have thought wrong as her face fell from sad to angry and she ran off.

The Jedi looked around as some people and aliens stared at him, which made him feel uncomfortable. He looked back at them and saw them turn there heads away and he could tell he had already left a bad impression to them so he put his hood over his head and he quickly walked away and went to the cantina. When he arrived there he saw the place was filled with manna be thugs, and mercenaries all sitting around. He did his best to avoid them and he walked into the cantina and looked around. He saw his friend in a booth in the far corner and he walked over there slowly. He went to the table and took off his hood to his friend who immediately greeted him. The two started talking about many subjects which included, credits, home, life, and other things.

As they were talking a man and a woman had approached their table. The Jedi looked at the woman and saw that it was the one who had hit him on the way here to the cantina. The Jedi knew it was trouble and he quickly stood up and saw the man start moving closer in on him. The Jedi tried grabbing his lightsaber but before he could the man had hit him and threw him out of the booth. They fought and fought until the Jedi saw the man take a wind up and try and hit him but the Jedi jumped out of the way and he ignited his lightsaber and put it to the man's neck. The man started whimpering and started asking for mercy and that he meant no harm to him, and that it was the woman's fault.

The Jedi listened to the man's tale and learned the woman had said to the man that the Jedi had hit her and taken her credits. The Jedi told the man he did not and told him about how the woman had come up to him and started hitting him and ran off. The man apologized and then he walked over to the woman and hit her a couple times. Soon the woman was apologized saying that she needed the credits and the man hit her again and then picked her up and walked off. The Jedi shook his head in displeasure and went back over to continue his talk with the man and they both laughed about what happened. The Jedi was surprised when nobody had come over to ask what happened, not even a police but he thought to himself he should,d be happy that no one came.After there talk they said their good byes and the Jedi got up and walked out of the cantina back to his ship.

When he arrived back at his ship he came back to see the person who was suppose to guard the ship was trying to break into it. The Jedi shook his head watching the stupid man trying to open it with his bare hands. The Jedi walked up and went behind him and put his mouth to the man's ear and whispered "You'll need more then that buddy!" The man jumped and looked at the Jedi and quickly ran off. The Jedi laughed and boarded his ship and flew off into space. Then the memory had blurred up and the man was back in reality.

The Jedi quickly took the memory out of his head and he started up the ship and it jumped into hyperspace and the hyper drive made a weird noise like it was going to break but it held on and made itself work all the way there. When he arrived at there coordinates the Jedi is fast asleep and is awaken by his astromech droid and he rubs his eyes and he hears his stomach growling, he had not eaten in 3 days. He looked at the status control to find the ship ready to jump out of hyperspace and he quickly woke up and got the ship ready. Soon the ship jumped out of hyperspace with a thump and it falls right over the orange planet of Tatooine.

He looks down at the planet and starts wondering if it was such a good idea. The people here on Tatooine had changed during the course of the war, many that had been thieves and thugs, were now changing into soldiers hoping they might be hero's and save the galaxy, but they knew that they had no chance. Soon he got the ship ready and when he started flying close to the planet many star fighters came up close to his and started circling him. He watched as one of them tried to contact him and an image pops up and then quickly starts getting all fuzzy and goes away. He cant find a way to talk to them but he couldn't find a way. They didn't attack him though to his surprise thinking they wouldn't take the chance and they would start shooting but they must have seen that the ship was an A-wing and was like no ship of the Yuuzan Vong. The star fighters left him and they let the Jedi go down to the planet.

He took his time going down into the atmosphere of Tatooine, and on his way he looked down to were there used to be freighters always going in and out of the planet, it was now ship less and deserted. Must have been the war he thought. When the Jedi landed he opened his hatch and got out of the A-wing and jumped out. He braced himself as he landed and soon soldiers rushed over to him and he was surrounded by soldiers with blaster rifles pointed at him. He knew that these soldiers wouldn't let him go without trying getting information off of him, thats just the way people on Tatooine were around these days. It was to tight up and worryful around here and many people were starting to worry when their planet would be attacked by these invaders. He looked around at the men seeing each one with fear in there eyes because they knew they could not last if they got attacked. They had too little of men and the enemy was to strong, all they could do was pray they were left alone

"Who are you?"The man asked "and what happened to your ship?" The tallest soldier asked him with a curios voice

"I am Reigo Folley, Jedi Knight and I have come here to get my ship repaired so I may return to the Council to give vital information on the enemy. And my ship was damaged in a battle I had recently." Reigo said staring back at the man making him take a step back and lower his rifle

"What space battle, we got no word of a space battle?" The man asked surprised

"It is nothing you need to know of, its the council's business." Reigo said sharply

"What do you mean not our business..." The man said sharply

"It is the council who sent me to get something and I was unlucky enough to have an encounter with the enemy." Reigo said annoyed

Well then mind telling me why your here?" the man said looking at him like he was suspicious

"I told you I was attacked on my way back to Coruscant and I suffered harsh casualties, as you see my ship is in horrible damage. So I was forced to land here and get repairs." Reigo said getting more annoyed

"I see. Come with me, I think the General would be intrigued to see a Jedi knight here." The man said going behind Reigo and pushing him forward

The two men walked off into the dirty, filthy roads of Tatooine. The Jedi looked around at the poor, dirty, smelly children, most of them probably still slaves working for a nearby hutt. He knew most of the hutts had died during the wars that had come in the last 30 years, but some still lived. He felt himself pitty the children and he took his gaze off of them and continued to follow the man to a big building. It looked like it must have been recently added, for it looked newer then most of the building with its clean windows, sliding door, and security. The Jedi looked up and looked at the entrance to see door had guards on each side of it. We went over to them and the man show'd them his card, probably an I.D. card by the way it was shaped and the men looked it over and nodded their heads. They gave back the card and let us pass. We walked into the building and the Jedi hoped this would be like the last time he was here.

Part I

The building was definitely a new building as the walls were made of metals, and not of sand like a regular house on Tatooine would be built of, and they actually seemed clean which was a surprise. Reigo followed closely behind the man who was trying to take him to see the General, and it seemed they had to go threw numerous security checks before they even got past the first door. Reigo quickly became annoyed and he didn't want to have to do this all the way in and out, it had already been to repetitive back on Coruscant. On Coruscant it seemed to take forever just to get near the Jedi Temple, but what really frightened Reigo was that they were taking action on their own kind, and they were to worryful on others that they were forgetting about the enemy. Just as Reigo stopped his thought, they stopped at a door with the name Mr. Scrot. on the door. The man turned around and he stared me straight in the eye.

"No funny tricks here Jedi. You do anything stupid like start using the force and we'll have at least 30 men on you, and without your lightsaber I don't think you'll survive that." He said grinning at his own remark.

"Yes, now please move so I may see this General." Reigo said already annoyed.

"Right this way." He said opening the door.

Inside the room was a big,dark brown desk with papers flying everywhere on it, and there seemed to be a big mess on it. The room itself was painted white with a few pictures around the place of random things, and near the desk were two chairs that were nailed into the ground. There was two windows in the room, both large ones looking out into the Tatooine life down below. Behind the desk though sat a man with his hands on his head, and the man seemed to look like he was being overwhelmed with things. The man had very grey hair that was short and seemed to go everywhere. His face had a few wrinkles in it from probably old age and stress. He was wearing a green Officer Uniform with the Tatooine insignia of General on it and he had a pair of reading glasses on. The man looked up to see Reigo and the Soldier, looking at them he straightened up and put his hands on his desk.

"Are you ok General?" The soldier started walking closer towards him but stopped as the general's hand flew up.

"Yes, I am just going threw some rough times with family." The genera';s eyes moved from the soldier to Reigo. "How may I help you two?" He said very calmly.

"Sir, this man here is a Jedi Knight, and he landed here. He has told us a very odd story about how he got here, and I brought him to you sir, maybe you could do something about him." The soldier said looking at the General.

"Very well Soldier, I will take it from here." The general replied looking right back at the soldier.

"Yes sir." he said turning out of the room and closing the door behind him.

"Here take a seat, Mr......." He said not knowing Reigo's name.

"Call me Reigo." He said taking a seat in front of the generals desk.

"Ok Reigo, my name is Mr. Scrot, but people call me Scrotty. And why have you come to see me?" The general said looking at him keenly.

"I did not come to see you general. Instead I was brought to you by that soldier who was just in here a few seconds ago." Reigo said leaning back in his chair.

"Hmm very well. But why did you come to Tatooine?"

"I encountered the enemy as we know as the Yuuzhan Vong and my ship was damaged beyond my astromech's repair. So I went to the nearest planet which was here and landed here." Reigo said starting to get annoyed after repeating it over and over to everyone.

"Ahh very well. I will give you assistance to you ship, and if lucky I bet I could get it repaired by tomorrow. But in return I need you to help me Jedi." The general
obviously was waiting for this.

"And what is that?" Reigo's eyes looked sharply into the general's.

"From what I've heard, you Jedi are able to heal people with their thing they call the force, now if you listened to what I said when you got here you would know I have a family crisis right now. My wife and son both got attacked by a local group of thugs who hurt my wife and son badly. my wife got a broken spine and the medics are telling me she may never walk, and my son has something much worse. Now here's my deal, you repair my wife and son and I'll repair your ship and extra, and if you get them back to full health I'll pray to you." The general started acting desperate now. "Just please..."

"Ok General, I see what your saying. I heal your wife and son, and you repair my ship and let me on my way." Reigo said crossing his arms across his chest.

*The general got back into formal position and looked Reigo in the eyes*"Yes, now when you leave you will be immediately directed by a guard to where my wife and son are. Your lightsaber will be given to you but you are not allowed to use it unless under extreme circumstances. Are we clear?" He said sitting back in his chair.

"Yes general, now may I please go?" Reigo's face showed he was bored.

"Yes." The general said.

Soon after he said that he pressed a button on his com and spoke into it giving orders to send men to his room and escort this man to his house. Soon 3 men came in with blasters out and they circled Reigo and one pushed Reigo forward out the door. The 3 men led him out of the building, leaving was a lot easier as they walked past all the security places except one where Reigo picked up his lightsaber where he clipped it back on his belt. Then they were out of the building and back onto the streets where everything seemed to go from good to bad. Soon a little girl beggar came over to the soldier and he pushed her away, which Reigo turned away, he didn't want to get involved but that was harsh.

They continued there walk down the sandy street which as they walked past a few salesmen yelled out towards them with offers "Ship parts for low prices here." But we walked past them not even glancing at them since it would give them attention which was the last thing to give a salesmen. The air around here seemed to be thicker with all the sand in it making it a bit tougher to breath unless you wore a helmet. They turned a sharp turn onto a worse street with tipped over trash cans from beggars, and the houses on each side had broken windows with the shards of them on the ground outside. The ground felt like they had buried something under it as the sand didn't feel like sand but felt like a piece of wood under it.

Soon one of the guards turned back and pointed his gun, and then did a motion with his finger near his mouth telling Reigo to be silent. Reigo pulled out his lightsaber but did not ignite it in fear they would go ballistic about it. The guards had their guns out and their fingers on the triggers waiting for something to happen. It felt like a squad team infiltrating a base, expert they were in the street and in he open. Soon a creak was heard and all three guards turned and help their guns towards where they heard it. They didn't see anything but they kept their eye on it as they moved out down the street. The further they went down the darker it seemed to get, but it must have been an illusion as some of the building were painted black with signs of things on them.

Soon we ended that street and were at a three way road place where the guards went to the right and they lowered their guns showing there was no more high level danger. They continued to walk down the street whee everything went back to normal and a lot better where they saw a few beggars sitting, the buildings were normal and the roads seemed a bit cleaner. They walked down the street quickly walking past everything and soon they stopped at a building and the lead guard turned around to me. He pointed to the place and said this was it. I thanked them and I walked closer towards the building, it had the medical symbol on it which was probably made it the hospital, and there was a sign outside that said something Reigo couldn't understand.

Reigo walked into the building where as soon as he got in he saw rows of beds laying around the room, and they seemed to fill almost every square inch of the place except a small row down the middle. Reigo walked over to a girl that looked like a nurse and he touched her on the shoulder and the girl jumped up scared and turned around. Reigo told her what he was here for and the girl put on a grim face and pointed to two beds where a woman lay, and a little boy lay. Reigo walked over to them since they were next to each other and when he arrived he saw the extent of the injury which made him want to cry.

Part II

Bones out and ribs broken was not a very good site to see. The women had a rib bone stuck out of her shoulder, and you couldn't say she was laying down straight as her body seemed to curve around like a snake. Reigo was horrified and he slowly walked up to the women who looked like she was dead already. Reigo sat on the side of her bed and put a hand on her shoulder and felt for her life, and he saw it was hanging on a thread. Reigo quickly pointed towards the nurse to come over. The nurse quickly quick walked back to Reigo and she seemed to close her eyes as she got closer. Reigo knew why she wouldn't want to look and he got up and walked next to her.

"Can you tell me the extent of the injury." Reigo said staring into the girls eyes.

"You mean her. She has suffered from 2 cracked ribs, spinal injury, major bruises, consistent bleeding, broken arm, and a broken leg. She just seems like a hopeless case." She said putting her hands to her eyes.

"OK can you show me where she has been consistently bleeding." Reigo aid pointing to the women.

The nurse walked over to the woman and she took off a big pad from her stomach to show a bone almost popping out of the skin. Reifo wanted to just walk out but he knew what he had to do to leave. He walked over to her, and he sat down letting the force flow threw him easily. Reigo then put his whole hand over the injury and sent a Big force heal threw out her body and soon most of the places seemed to be looking better then before, But her spinal thing stayed curved. Reigo knew he was not a master, and even a master would have trouble with this kind of case. If this was the lady then wonder what happened to the kid, Reigo thought to himself.

The nurse behind me was scared sh!tless as she saw the massive change in the woman's body and how the woman overall appearance Had changed dramatically. The nurse looked like she was gonna faint and Reigo just ignored her whimper of amazement and he put his head on the womans head. She seemed better and a few threads seemed to go help the other and Reigo knew it was a start. He had never seen anything like this before, and saw them actually live, it was just horrific for someone to do something like this to a woman.

Reigo turned back to the nurse and kept his hands on the womans head until he took them off again and he looked up at the nurse. She seemed to want to run and scream like she saw a ghost but she must have known something was gonna be strange about Reigo. Suddenly the nurse screamed and pointed to the woman on the bed. Reigo turned away from her and he again looked at the woman, she was the same expert something was different, Reigo couldn't point it out exactly but it looked like she was....... laying straight in her bed, her spinal column seemed to have moved when Reigo wasn't looking. Reigo quickly put his hands up to the woman's head and felt her life increase dramatically. Reigo sighed a really loud one and he smiled. Then the nurse let out a weak question, which Reigo knew she would ask sooner or later.

"Who are you?" she said quietly as if scared of him.

"I am Reigo Folley, Jedi Knight, and protector of the peace and all that stuff." Reigo said getting bored of his routine.

*The girl seemed to go back to normal composure, she must have known what a Jedi was.* "Ohh so that's why you could heal her."

"Yes and she was very lucky to live after whatever had happened to her." Reigo said looking down at the floor and his eyes moved along it.

"But why did you heal her?" She asked making a question face.

"Because I struck a deal with a general." Reigo said hoping to not give away to much info.

"Ohh so that means your also here to see the boy." She said putting her head down.

"Yes, I am also here to see him." Reigo said sighing.

"Well he is right here." She said pointing to the bed next to her.

"Ok thank you, I will get under way." Reigo said moving near the boys bed this time.

Reigo was relieved to see the boy didn't seem to have suffered nearly as much as the woman did, and he seemed to be mostly intact for that matter. Reigo put his hand on the boys head and let out another burst of the force heal which flew threw the boys body like electricity threw a wire. All the small opens and wounds seemed to heal up and go back to normal and then the boy woke up and his eyes shot open. Reigo smiled as the boy looked up into Reigo's eyes, but the boy seemed to terrified to speak and the boy closed them and turned away. Reigo chuckled a bit and was so relieved and happy that he had helped two people that needed it, and he would be able to go back to the Council and return to them. Then he saw the boy come out from under his hands and he looked up at Reigo and looked at him with his big wide eyes.

"Who are you?" The boy said curiously.

"Call me Reigo." Reigo said rubbing the boys head playfully.

"Rego?" The boy said trying to pronounce his name.

"Rei, yea call me Rego." Reigo said knowing the boy would get confused if Reigo tried teaching him how to pronounce it.

He got off the bed and he looked around the hospital to see many other patients but he did not have the time to help them he needed to get back to the Council, and he used a lot of energy to heal those two, he needed to get it back. He felt bad that he would not be able to help them, but the council was going to be already mad with his lateness, and he couldn't waste more time here then he already had. His yes moved along the room of the hospital and he outstretched his arms stretching them.

Reigo thanked the nurse and the nurse thanked him back and he smiled and walked back towards the exit of the hospital. Just as he was about to leave he looked back to see the woman had woken up and the boy was hugging her. The woman got up to continue to hug the boy and the nurse walked over to them and pointed to Reigo. And just as she did Reigo was out the door and into the sandy Tatooine street where he felt all the death of the hospital off his shoulders. It had been good to help another out. Just as he got out and onto the street he was greeted by the same three guards who said they saw the whole thing and congratulated him. Helping the general would help them also making the general in a much better mood with the soldiers. Soon they led Reigo back to a Hotel where he would stay the rest of the night guarded by them and they told him the next morning he would be brought back to his ship.
