Chapter One Night had finally covered the imperial palace, and the city about it, lights from buildings, and traffic danced through out Coruscant's sky. Looking over from his computer, Andrew Silo could see monument square full of monuments dedicated to the past through his office window. Shaking his head groggily he returned to the task at hand. Several months ago a cargo of highly important medical equipment enrought to the jungle moon of Yavin four, the Jedi Academy, vanished. Investigators from the New Republic, both jedi, and home government could find no explanation. The official ruling was a hyperspace accident. Silo didn't agree with that. He felt that something happened, yes, but not a hyperspace mishap. Andrew read the controllers list over and over. The Survivor remained on screen until it entered the Yavin system. Silo tugged absently on his earring as he punched up a new screen and scanned over it. His body tence with frustration, and fatigue. Nothing. With out any better information he could never get anywhere in his investigation. His Republic codes could only get him so far. What he needed was a slicer, and he knew a good one at that. The problem was that his old friend hadn't been seen in years. Soft hands clasped about the Corellian's shoulders, squeezing them slightly, as a cascade of dark hair fell loosely about him, redolent with a familiar scent. Andrew rolled his blue eyes over his shoulders to the soft, concerned face of a beautiful young woman. Her emerald eyes heavy with stress. He offered his wife a sleepy lopsided grin in the hopes of relieving her concern. Castill Selo, wife, senate member, and Jedi Knight bit her lip as her eyes shifted towards the computer. " Hun, you're not going to find anything else. Let it go." She said. Andrew winced at her words. His gut told him that something was wrong about the whole story. Could she not feel it with her Jedi skills? " I know, but something in this space junky heart of mine tells me there is more than what we are seeing." he sighed. Castill kissed her husbands cheek lightly, and whispered softly " Perhaps you just want there to be more." The Corellian lowered his eyes. It could be true, he thought. The past two years had been spent here. the last time he was off planet on a job was the same time his long time companion, and friend Adena had gone to the darkside of the force. Castill seemed to feel her husbands state of mind, wrapping her arms about him tighter she rested her head on his neck. " Don't worry, if the N.R.I comes up with any new information, you'll be the first to know." With that she withdrew and walked halfheartedly into there sleeping quarters. Andrew watched her for a moment, waiting till she was out of ear shot. When he was sure she was gone he punched up the number for Coruscant's ship port. The figure that answered the call was that of a young man, no more that twenty, wearing a neatly pressed uniform of a New Republic ships man. Silo nodded at the boy, as the boy fumbled for the reply switch. " Yes?" he asked, his voice high and excited. First day, Selo thought. " I want to have a lift time scheduled for sun rise." Selo stated. The young man punched in a series of buttons. " Yes sir, Captain Silo" Before the boy could say something else Andrew signed off the com, and ran his fingers through his burnt mahogany hair. Figuring that he wouldn't find anything here, he might as well take a little trip. first to the spot of the Survivor's last comm transmission. If he failed to find anything there, Nar Shadda, the smugglers moon. there he knew he could find some info, for the right price. Shutting off his com terminal he paced about for a few moments gathering his thoughts before he finally entered the adjoining room. As he slowly stalked in he found his wife sitting on the edge of there bed. Her eyes heavy with thought. As if she knew of his plans she whispered softly " Don't go sweetheart. Stay here, with me." She locked her eyes on his " Please." Did she learn of his trip through the force, or did she just know her husband that well? he wondered. Silo walked over to her, sitting next to her. " I won't be gone for long" He replied in soft tones, as he gingerly ran his fingers through her hair. Castill cleared her throat, training her eyes once more on the floor. " I feel a odd, slightly disturbing wave in the force. It's not safe for you to be out there." Andrew pulled off his deep blue trousers and gun belt and lay on the bed, looking up at the skylight. Watching landing lights of freighters, and shuttles pass by. " The city that never sleeps" he muttered to himself. He looked back over towards Castill, still sitting in the same spot. " Hey dont worry, I'll be fine." Castill shifted her head slightly " You're asking me not to worry?" She asked. " Yeah don't worry. I mean, hay, it's me." The Jedi woman buried her face in her palms and sighed " I know, thats what I'm afraid of."
Castill silo awoke to the sight of a empty bed. The half that her husband usually occupied at this time of morning was vacant. His pillow fluffed and placed neatly at the head. Also, the sheets placed smoothly across his half of the mattress. Her heart sank. She should have known he was going to investigate regardless of what she said. Using a Jedi calming trick she relaxed her mind, and let her body ease. She could still feel his presence close. By the feel of it he only left a few moments before she had awaken. In a rush she moved to the refresher unit, stripped out of her pale blue nightgown, and slipped on her white tunic, brown flightpants, blaster belt, and boots. She knew if she was quick she could stop him. or at least talk him into letting her go along. Dashing out into the hall way she grabbed her lightsaber and clipped it onto her belt. Picking up her pace as she headed out the door towards the palace ship platforms.
Andrew silo turned one final corner and found himself facing a solid blast door. His fingers flew over a council, keying in a access code. The heavy door opened with a slight protest. Once inside Silo walked into a dark room towards a sleeping figure. Intentionally moving loudly he came to stop next to the form. " Get up pal, We need to fly" A sleepy eyed Sullustian blinked away his sleepy daze and babbled something in his naturally fast language. " I'll tell you on the way" Silo promised. Manuel rolled out of bed and got dressed in record time. On the way to the ship yard Silo shared his theory about the Survivor's fate. The mouse like alien chattered his agreement. Soon the two found themselves strapped into the seats of the Nebulon Dragon. Andrews prized YT-1300. Manuel started preflight as Silo waited for control to let him off. As soon as he got clearance, he fired up the converters. The Dragon began to rise off the ground, and was headed towards open atmosphere. Once at a safe distance the Corellian pulled back the hyperspace lever. The color of hyperspace washed over the cockpit of the ship, and they were gone.
Castill picked up her speed as she heard her husband's ship fire up. Using all the force she could, she forced her legs to carry her faster. As she bolted through the ship platforms door she was greeted by the sight of the Dragon making a sharp clime towards space. She stood in silence, watching until the Corellian made freighter was out of sight. The Jedi then fell to her knees. Her mind filled with both fear, and anger. " Fine, I'll let you go. But I wont be far behind." With that she stood and walked towards her ship. A ship she hadn't used since the rebellion. A E-Wing starfighter. With in moments she too, vanished into hyperspace.
Adena's eyes combed across the vast canyon system that stretched across the planet of Ord Mantell. The river down, deep within the pits flowed rapidly, and violently. Just as the Dark side flowed through her veins. The land once was rich with life and beauty, but that died millions of years ago. Adena still had her natural beauty. However inside she was no different than this planet; darkened, and forever scared. How could she have fallen to the dark side? How could she have gone against the teachings of Master Ool'as? Adena knew that she chose this path. Why did it turn out like this? She thought back for a moment. The empire started it. By blowing up Alderaan. Then trying to kill Silo, and his friends, that pushed her over. She was only trying to protect the man she loved. Did she still love him? She slapped the thought out of her head. No, she didn't love him. He just stood there as she fell to the dark side of the force. He did nothing to help. And then to further the insult he fell in love and wed a jedi. Adena sneered at the word love, and the thought of Councilor Castill Silo. She could feel the Hatred flow through her body. She could feel the dark side energy tingle through her veins. With all the rage she could tap into Adena out stretched her fingers and sent a series of lightning strikes into the canyon wall, sending rocks scattering to the valley below. She watched with evil bemusement as they tumbled out of sight, Deep into the thick mist below. How she wished she could do that to the remnants of the empire. and how she wished she could do that to the Silo family. She smiled in delight as she pictured the image of Castill and Andrew falling down the vast opening in the ground. Screaming for mercy. Eventually falling past the lair of mist, and out of her life. She slumped to the ground and began to weep. Why was she doing this? She didn't hate Silo. He helped her more time than she could remember. How could he help on force matters? He was no jedi. As for his wife, She did nothing to upset her. Castill was just being herself, infact Adena didn't even know Castill. " Mistress Adena, I bring you news." A male voice spout. Adena wiped her trembling hand across her face. As she stood she spun with such force that the messenger was forced to take a step back for fear that she would strike him. Adena's Forest green eyes broke through the very soul of the man, feeding off his fear. " What is this news?" She hissed. The man fumbled for a bit then finally became settle enough to speak " Our spies on Coruscant have reported that the Nebulon Dragon along with Councilor Castill Silo's E-Wing fighter not far behind have left Coruscant." Adena nodded as she took this all in " Our sources say that they were headed for a unspecified part of the Yavin system." Adena's head sagged as she thought of Silo. The man, a human roughly thirty or so ran a finger across his cybernetic arm nervously as he observed his leaders mood " Mistress, Do you have something for this guy?" Adena turned her back to him and looked over the canyons, a tear of the person she once was, forming in the corners of her eyes. Adena's shoulders sagged as she let out a heavy sigh " I did" she whispered " Along time ago." " Oh, A old lover despute, he dumped you, now you want him dead." the man joked. Adenas Rage boiled, How dare he laugh at her. Her hand slid down her thigh to the cylinder shaped object clipped to her armor, and withdrew it slowly. With a flick of her thumb the flower bud shaped object bloomed into the deep red blade of a lightsaber. The man tried to move out of the way but his speed was no mach for that of the dark Jedi woman. With a swift swing of her arm the man fell. A cauterized stump where there was once a head. She deactivated the lightsaber and clipped it back onto her armor. A slight wave of pleasure rippling through out her body. wordlessly she walked over the body towards her speeder. Thinking of nothing more than a good chance for revenge. As Adena landed her speeder, and began to walk through the streets of Ord Mantell she began to think back on the times she, and Silo had been here on smuggling runs. As usual the two would stop to gamble once there job was done. The dark Jedi slipped into a darken alleyway were she found herself facing a large Rodain. The Rodain's large black eyes looked the woman over for a moment before side stepping. Beyond the alien stood a large building. The building looked normal in every way, but Adena knew it belonged to the powerful criminal organization Black Sun. Adena grinned evily, soon it would be her organization.
When the Nebulon Dragon came out of hyperspace Silo leaned forward in his captains chair. Manuel chattered wildly to himself as he prepared the long range sensors to scan the space around the red gas giant Yavin. Around the fourth moon of Yavin, Silo could make out the shapes of New Republic war ships protecting the Jedi Academy. Andrew pondered for a moment. If the Survivor made a transmission here, so close to there final destiny of Yavin four, that ment they would have exited hyperspace. The Corellian smiled slightly. He knew there was no hyperspace accident. His only question now was why the other ships had no record of the Survivor ever entering the area. Manuel twitched his triple liped mouth as he looked over the sensor screen. His black eyes widened as he found a small object drifting towards them. Andrew looked closer as his partner began to open the ships tractor bay. Silo thought he recognized the object as a slave circuit unit. Who would slave a medical figate? The smuggler couldn't think of any uses for a medical ship. Someone could need it, but a planet needing medical attention that badly could never afford a bounty on a ship. " What do we got, pal?" Silo asked. The Sullustian walked back into the cockpit holding the object high above his head and smiling triumphantly. Just as he thought, a slave circuit. When Andrew looked at the circuit closer he found evidence that the unit was new. The lack of carbon scorching showed it was on for only a few days. Signs of man made scratches appeared on the smooth metallic unit. Apparently someone had tried to remove the slave unit before the ships disappearance. Silo's head began to swim with questions. Manuel chattered up a storm, stating random ideas as to who could take such a large ship unseen. Andrew had to admit that a Nebulon B frigate would be easy to spot. Manuel's ideas went from the Empire, pirates, smugglers, bounty hunters extremist groups to a random hijacking teams. The Corellian ran the possibilities through his head. Most however failed to explain the silent disappearance of such a large ship. " The Empire would not take such a risk. Coming this close to one of the most heavily guarded New Republic planets would be to risky. They learned that with the Shadow Academy." Manuel nodded his agreement as he remembered the Jedi battle that took place this past year. " Now pirates, that's different." Andrew stated. " They would love to get at the ships Bacta supply, but again, this close to the Jedi Academy. Far, far to risky." Manuel blinked his large eyes as he thought of something else. In his quick language he blabbed his idea to Silo. " The Hutts?" He shrugged as he thought of the possibility. " You just may be right on that." Silo seated himself and began to punch up the plotted course to Nar Shadda, as Manuel took his seat in the co-pilots chair. As far as Silo knew the Hutts had been laying low ever sense the Darksaber project failed. It seemed that the Hutts had the ability to pull off a stunt like this, But was it really them?. Andrew didn't know for sure, it was just a hunch. A trip to Nar Shadda would prove either way. If it was not the Hutts then who? Andrew sighed as he took the Dragon back into hyperspace.
Castill Silo took her E-Wing fighter around the large gas planet. Its lighting casting a array of red-orange hues across her small fighter. Using the planet as a shield, she sat in silence and watched her husbands ship as it slowly combed the area. Using the Force she let her mind ease, and pictured the interior of Andrew's ship. She could here the discussion between Andrew, and Manuel. Then as suddenly as the Dragon arrived, it shot off back into hyperspace. Castill sat back in her seat, and rubbed perspiration off her head with a gloved hand. Over the ship's comm system she heard J-5's voice ask a question. " Mistress Castill, are we going to follow the Nebulon Dragon? I have already loaded the coordinates into the navigational computer." Jay five, Castill astromech droid was good to have around at times, though he did have a problem with a overly aggressive nature. " No, we won't." She dismissed him. " Were going to talk to the commander of those ships orbiting the Academy. Castill brought her fighter around the planet and headed for the Jedi Academy of Yavin four. She too, had a few hunches of her own.

Chapter Two
Councilor Castill Silo slowly set her fighter down within the large docking bay of the New Republic cruiser Protector. Jay five hummed to himself softly as bay crew unloaded him from his jack in the rear of the ship. Castill pulled her self out of the cockpit, and dropped onto the cold bay floor. A tall man in his thirties, clad in the uniform of a officer approached the Jedi woman. A pleasant smile upon his face told a tale that he was a kind man. The force, however, told a different tale. " Awh, Councilor Silo, what a honor it is to have you abord my ship" The man said. " I am captain Du' Vu'arr." Warning sirens went off through out Castills head. Something was not right. She could feel it. but what was it? " How may I help you Councilor?" Du' Vu'arr asked. Castill cast her emerald gaze towards Jay five rolling towards her. Jay five's optical sensor locked onto Du' Vu'arr, and seemed to glow as he studied the man. " Councilor?" Castill snapped back to the question. " I'm here to investigate something." She stated. The captains eyes narrowed slightly. " Like what?" Castill felt as though the dear captain was trying to hide the fact that he knew what she was here for. " I'm looking for reasons as to why none of the ships under you're command spotted the Nebulon -B medical frigate survivor." Du' Vu'arr folded his arms behind his back, and shifted heavily on his feet. " Well councilor, our ships were on the other side of Yavin four when the ship reportedly vanished. There was no way my ships could have detected it." The force told her that the captain was lying. His story would be true to anyone else, but a Jedi. Castill placed her hands into the pockets of her yellow flight coat, and scanned her eyes about the room. " Well, then could I at least look through you're logs, see what I could find there?" Captain Du' Vu'arr seemed none to thrilled with the idea, but he knew that if he didn't let her, she would become suspicious. " By all means help you're self." The captain nodded at one of his security officers. The officer then nodded in return, and dashed off down a hallway. " But first Councilor," The captain spouted with a over dramatized voice " You must eat, follow me, please." Captain Du' Vu'arr led her, and Jay five down a series of hallways, and turbolifts until they arrived at the doors to the captains quarters. Outside the door stood two New Republic guards. both heavily armored, and armed. there faces concealed behind a dark blast visor. Castill wondered why the troopers needed to be so heavily armed. Her mind began to form ideas. The feelings she got from the force seemed to aid in this process. Du' Vu'arr seated himself at the end of a large glass table, covered with platters of delicacies gathered from all over the galaxy. Castill seated herself at the opposite end, and watched the captain, and using the force to watch for anything out of place. " Please, Councilor, help you're self. There is plenty of food here." Castill ladled out a small bowl of Nerfherder stew for herself. She had not eaten in several hours, but food was of little importance now. The captain fixed himself a large plate of spiced grubs, from Kashyyyk, a bowl of hawk-bat eggs, from Coruscant, and a pale blue meat from a planet the Jedi could not identify. " So," the captain started. " what is it about the survivors disappearance that you're so interested in? " Castill swallowed a mouthful of the hot, spiced stew before replying. " It's not the ship it self, captain, but it's disappearance this close to the Academy, and a large fleet. That's what I'm interested in." Du' Vu'arr leaned back in his plush leather chair, and studied the Jedi for a moment. " It was nothing more than a hyperspace accident, Councilor. They may have come out of hyperspace close to there mark, when they did the navacomputer malfunctioned and sent them back into hyper. For all we know Councilor Silo, they could have jumped into the Maw cluster, or deep into the Core systems, or even out into the Tion Hegemony region. The point being, there gone, we can not do anything about it." The captain took a sip of his stim tea, and stared coldly at Castill. Taking his comment as the end of the conversation, Castill stood up from the table and nodded at Du' Vu'arr. " Thank you for you're insight captain, perhaps you were right, and all this was a mishap." The captain only nodded. Castill marched out into the corridor where she was met by the heavily armed troops. Before she even passed the first guard, Castill could sense danger. With the hint, she unconsciously slid her hand down towards her lightsaber. Just as her hand clasped around the cool metal cylinder one of the guards reached for a force pike hidden behind his back. The guard brought the weapon swinging with in inches of Castill's head. Almost immediately following, the second guard unleashed a vibro knife, catching Castill on the wrist of her left arm, cutting through her coat, to the skin drawing a thin line of blood. With little thought, Councilor Castill Silo brought her lightsaber into her palm, and ignited it. With a snap hiss, the emerald green blade sprung to life, splashing color onto the walls. The first guard swung again. Castill side stepped the attack with unnatural speed. Before the other guard could attack again the Jedi woman brought her blade down onto the man's arm, severing the hand holding the vibro blade. With reflexes born from the force, Castill swung her body around, sending the green blade cutting cleanly through the force pike. The now handless guard fumbled for his blaster strapped to his thigh. As he fired his first shot, Castill brought her saber to block the blast. The heated energy beam deflected of the lightsabers blade, and caught the first, weaponless guard in the chest. The guard who fired the shot watched his companion fall to the ground, a charred hole in his torso. His attention not trained on the green blade coming down upon him. Warning alarms began to sound through out the ship. Castill knew she had to move fast. She only hoped that Jay five had found some information., and that he had the ship ready to lift. As she ran wildly through adjoining corridors, Castill could hear the booted feet of guards chasing her. Suddenly a blaster bolt flew past her head, hitting a nearby wall panel. With a dying spark the panel shorted out. Castill could see down the hall that the panel operated a large blast door connecting the docking bay with the lift tubes. A door which was now locked shut. The boot steps came closer by the moment, and Castill had no place to run. She knew she could not run. She knew she could not fight either. Risking a quick scan about her she noticed a ventilation duct leading into the floor. With a swipe of her saber she cut open the paneling to reveal a narrow shaft, leading directly into the bay. Without hesitation she dived in head first, just as the guards finally caught up to her. The troops tried to force themselves into the tiny tube, but there large armor made it impossible to fit into. Captain Du' Vu'arr sat in his quarters watching as Castill Silo slipped down the ventilation shafts and out of his trap. Sneering as he usually did, he fumbled for the ships information logs. To his amusement he found that Castill's droid had down loaded the fake document. The captain hissed as he found that the droid had down loaded everything else in the ships computer as well. Looking back at the monitor he saw the jedi slide out of the duct, dash across the bay, into her E-Wing, and out into open space. Enraged Captain Du' Vu'arr sent a message to his long time companion. To: High Admiral Farlax. The Jedi woman knows to much now. The New Republic will soon learn of this plot. Aborting mission now. To dangerous to continue. Taking plunder fleet back to Byss. Captain Vykk Du' Vu'arr
High Admiral Farlax read over the transmission with great dismay. Through out his career as a imperial Admiral he had many run-ins with members of the Silo family. First it was Andrew Silo, a young smuggler at the time. Who unknowingly helped the Hutts free there space from imperial rule. Then Israel Kenrick, Andrew's cousin. Kenrick, the famed mercenary known as Dargh was hired by Farlax to stop Silo. Kenrick turned around and helped his family member. Now it was Silo's wife Castill. Councilor to the New Republic senate, and Jedi Knight. Farlax placed the datapad on his desk, and nudged it over to the man sitting across from him. The man sitting across from him was a tall, broad-shouldered man who wore a cape and blasters at his hip. Close- cropped moss green hair covered the top of his head. A band of metal, inset with lights and sensors, encircled his head, like a ring around some pale-green planet. The front half of the silver metal was a visor that completely covered his eyes. The rest of the metal band appeared to be permanently affixed to his skull. Czethros skimmed over the data with his visor. Lights moving about his visor seemed to suggest that he was receiving information through a cybernetic band. " Nothing but a slight disruption." The former bounty hunter said through sneered lips. High Admiral Farlax tugged absently on his white, and gray beard slightly surprised by Czethros's comment. " A slight disruption? " he barked. " A Jedi has gotten away with our plans, Czethros. Don't you understand how dangerous that is? Don't you see the complications it poses to this task?" Czethros brushed a gloved hand over his moss green hair, and shifted in his seat. Displaying a slightly arrogant confidence. " We need only change our plans then." he stated calmly. Farlax felt something stir in him that he had not felt in some time, fear. " How do we change them?" the aging Admiral asked. " Our plan to sneak in Du' Vu'arr as a rebel captain has backfired." Czethros reclined slightly in his seat, and folded his gloved hands over his chest. " Don't worry Admiral." the bounty hunter said in undermining tones," Not only are you're interests safe, but so are the interests of Black Sun."
The true night had befallen Nar Shadda by the time the Nebulon Dragon had set down. Silo, and Manuel's first stop was to the Corellian part of the city. Silo knew many sources of information there. As the old saying went: If a Corellian didn't know something, it was never worth knowing anyway. As the two entered one of the many gambling halls that covered the moon, Andrew caught a glimpse of someone he thought he knew. " You're losing it kid." Silo muttered to himself. Continuing through the collection of assorted species, and races Silo could swear he saw a familiar figure lingering with in the crowd. Manuel, not really paying attention to his surroundings, watched with longing eyes as the two passed a cluster of sabbacc tables. The large eyes, of the Sullustian seemed to shine at the sight of the victory pots, full of beautiful glittering credits. Manuel started to drift from Silo's side. Slowly getting closer, and closer to the sabbacc tables. His hands slowly reaching into his flight pants to grab for a credit voucher. As the Sullustian reached a table that suited his budget he began to look about for his companion. Manuel combed the crowed for a few seconds. No sign of Silo. With a dismissive shrug Manuel placed his initial bet in the pot, and was delt his first card. Andrew Silo walked slowly through the crowed. His blue-green eyes watching for a old friend of his. As the Corellian became frustrated to the point of giving up he heard the sound of a screaming Jawa. With a slight lopsided grin, and renewed interest he pushed on through the crowed until he came up to a gathering of angry gamblers, blasters waving at a Jawa standing on a table. He too, waving his blaster in the air, and shouting at the top of his Jawa lungs'. Or however Jawas breathed. Not far behind the Jawa stood a man in his mid thirties, clad in a silver breast plate, a deep blue cape slung over his fancy gold plate shoulder pads. underneath all that a simple blue jumpsuit. " I did not steal you're money, you all lost fare and square!" The man shouted. The Jawa repeated the man with the same line. Silo had to grin to himself. It seemed as if good old Izdran Mac Connie, and Jarrac, the Jawa were up to there old tricks once more. Izdran's mouth grew into a broad grin as he saw Silo watching from the back of the crowed. " Silo, long time, no see. Come, a game of force sabbacc?" Silo shuck his head. " Sorry pal, I'm here on business." The gambler from Hapes pushed his way through the crowd towards Silo. " Business you say? What kind?" " Information gathering." Silo stated with a slight shrug. " Ohh, ok" Izdran nodded. " Well I could help, but my memory, you know how it is these days." Andrew dug deeply into his pockets, and pulled out a credit voucher worth two hundred credits. " Here." He handed it over to the Hapen. Izdran quickly stashed it into one of his many pockets that lined his jump suit. The gambler waved at his Jawa sidekick, and began to walk off. Silo followed Izrdan to his hotel room, which consisted of nothing more than a bed, refresher unit, and a spectacular view of a brick wall. Izdran sat on the foot of his bed and rested his head on his knee. " So, what you want info about?" He asked. " the survivor" Silo responded. Izdran ran a quick scan over the voucher to make sure it was legit before saying anything. Once satisfied with the scan, Izdran looked at silo, his broad grin fading. " Word has it silo, that the empire has her." Silo took in the information. " But how?" The Corellian asked. Izdran shrugged " They say that the empire was working with some crime lord to get it." " The Hutts?" Silo questioned. " Nope, the Hutts would have been bragging about it by now, no not the Hutts. " Silo bit his lip in thought, " Then who?" Jarrac the Jawa blabbed something about a dark Jedi, with eyes the color of Endor. Silo only knew of one person with those colors with in her eye, Adena. " It was also said" Izdran continued, " That the ships computers held information about something powerful enough to wipe out the entire New Republic. But, that's only a rumor." Silo stood "Thanks, If you're right.." " Which I always am." The gambler cut in " Um, sure, yeah, anyway" Silo continued " Then we need to get moving." With a final good bye, Silo, and a much richer Manuel boarded the Dragon, and shot off into space. After passing the magnetic field, Silo took the ship into Hyperspace. " I think We were gypped, Manuel. " Silo spouted. Manuel nodded his agreement. " Personally pal, I think it was our fleet that took her. What do you say we talk to the commander of Yavin defense fleet?" Manuel shrugged and pointed out it was worth a shot. Andrew punched in the number to Yavin four. The Dragon fell out of Hyperspace, changed direction, then shot back in it's new heading.
Castill Silo sat atop the great temple, looking over the dense jungle stretching over the moons surface. In the distance she could see the tops of other temples breaking throught the green canopy. At her side sat Kyp Durron, a fellow Jedi Knight. Kyp looked over the information that jay five had removed from the Protector's computers. With a grim twitch of his lips, he slipped the data card into his pocket. " I don't know what to say about this Councilor, but I'll have Master Skywalker look over it." Kyp said, as he began to climb down from the Massassi temple. Castill only nodded, her eyes drifting upward. With her heightened Jedi senses she could see the shapes of four ships that orbited the planet pull out of formation, and vanish from sight. Be safe out there hon. she thought. She knew no matter how much she wished, her husband would not hear her. With a confident toss of her hair, Adena walked into the chamber belonging to the new leader of Black Sun, Czethros. Using the force she pried open safes, and knocked desks over. All the time her eyes scanning the room for a specific item. " Looking for something, my dear?" A voice asked. Adena turned to see Czethros standing in the door way. His gloved hands pointing two blasters at her. " You think a blaster could hurt me?" Adena sneered. The crime lord shot at her once, leaving a burning hole in Adena's shoulder. The woman bit back the pain, and forced herself to laugh at Czethros. " Laugh Jedi woman, laugh all you want." he said. With out warning he fired again. This time Adena raises her hand to block the shot. The blaster bolt hit her palm, and dispurst into harmless sparks as it touched the dark side energy surrounding her. Czethros took a step back in confusion. the confidant air about him becoming filled with doubt. Aden took a few steps towards him, her face cold and emotionless. " I came looking for some information." She exclaimed " And it was hidden abord a New Republic ship that you took. Where is the information.?" Czethros shifted uneasily. " It was stolen from our ships computer by a woman." He told her. Adena paced about the green haired man. " What woman?" She asked. " A woman from the Republic, Castill Silo." Adena stopped her pacing and stood motionless. a rush of emotions overwhelming her. " Silo?, , where is she?" She demanded. Czethros shrugged, " I don't know, Yavin four, Coruscant, I don't know" Adena felt the tingle of dark side energy flow through her. Her body surging with rage. " Then Find her!" she bellowed. Using the force she picked Czethros up, and flung him into the wall, and crashing to the floor. Adena looked at the unconscious man for a moment, turned, and departed. The information Castill had would be dangerous to Adena's plans for Black sun, at the same time could be used to shift the balance of power, through out the galaxy. Adena knew she had to kill the Jedi woman, she knew too much. With a slight twist of her lip, Adena walked off into the streets of Ord Mantell. Vanishing into the crowed.

Chapter three
Deep with in the jungle of Yavin four, Castill, reclined on a large stone, reading over the datapad containing the information down loaded from Du' Vu'arr's computer. She felt she had isolated the information that she needed, the only problem was that the information was written in a language she could not understand. she skimmed over the text again.
Kott-ar sohhn Maran. Muchhit'a sup bontam, juthman des-mkah L ugguhgh fromer jup sup delmman gothrne fop holethdel. Jup theris kastann mokosh darragh bulth. Poldlup hogl runs bulopden fhjis thuggd ghjiph lohjk cuolr voan sith vakkes normans dulpoth.
As she read this, her body began to feel cold. something about what was written felt dark, evil. The words made no sense, but she didn't know if she should understand. Yes, she was good with languages, but this was unknown. Even the translator droids here at the Jedi Academy could not decipher it. It was then she felt a disturbance in the force. She stretched out with her senses, combed the area about her, but could not pin point the source of the disturbance. Only noises from the life abundant in the humid underlayrs of the canopy of the huge Massassi trees. The sudden beep of her comm startled her. With a shaken hand she thumbed the switch. " Councilor Silo," it was Kyp. " Master Skywalker wishes to inform you that he has discovered the language on the data pad." Castill felt a sigh escape her body. " What does it say?" she asked. She could almost picture Kyp shrug. " He cant read it yet, but he has identified it as old Sith text." The councilor shivered as the evil feeling returned at the mention of the Sith. " Tell me when you decrypt it" she responded. " Castill out." Placing her com back into her pocket, she began to pace about the jungle floor. Her thoughts trying to comprehend the meaning of the Sith writing. Could it be a normal letter? Could it be the plans for a Sith take over of the Old Republic? Or, the lessons needed to become a Dark Lord? She didn't know for sure, all she had now was the feeling that came from the force. As the Dragon came out of hyperspace, Silo was greeted with a shocking sight. One half of the New Republic fleet was leaving the area. Puzzled by this the Corillian hailed the ships. The only response he received was static. Taking his ship into a escort formation along side the flag ship, Silo hoped he could discover why they were leaving. Again he hailed them. This time he got a response. Five Imperial TIE fighters poured out of the docking bay, spewing deadly bolts of green energy at him. Acting on instinct, Silo pulled the Freighter into a tight roll, away from the larger ship and out into free space. The TIEs followed, and were on his tail once more firing in unison. " Take over, I'm going top side" Silo said to his Sullustian co-pilot. As he raced towards the turret ladder he was knocked back by a violent rock, as a TIE's blast found it's mark. " Keep clear of those!" He shouted back into the cockpit. Silo climbed into the gunners seat, and powered up the quad cannons. When the targeting computer came to life Silo took aim at the TIE leading the formation and fired. The TIE took a hard dive as the laser bolt sailed harmlessly over its solar panels. The other TIEs pulled hard left, and picked up there throttle. TIE leader pulled up sharply in front of the Dragon's nose, forcing Manuel to take the ship into a hard climb to escape collision. As he did this the other TIEs came about in a sweep and fired at the Dragon's sublight drives. With a dying shutter the drive system failed, and the Nebulon Dragon came to a gradual stop. Cursing under his breath , Silo fired wildly at the TIEs. A passing TIE took a hit to it's left solar panel, and spun off into space, until Silo lost sight of it in the orangeish red gloom of Yavin. The two remaining fighters swept about the ship, into a bow tie loop. Andrew watched the ships closely, until both fighters were about to cross. With a steady eye he fired, hitting one TIE, and causing it to spin uncontrollably towards it's wingman. The TIE pulled hard up, to avoid its companion, but failed. With a dazzling explosion both TIEs hit. Manuel chattered excitedly as Silo climbed back down from the Turret. " Hold it pal," he said as he strode into the cockpit. " They still might send more ships". As if done on que, the fleet of large ships vanished into hyperspace. " OK, perhaps not." Andrew corrected himself. Manuel chattered something else. " Well, I saw two of the five TIEs head off somewhere, anyway, they wont bother us, lets get this baby fixed." And with that he set off to repair the damaged sub light drives.
Castill watched a space battle erupt from her perch in a large Massassi tree. Her eyes picked out several small explosions, then calmness. "What was that?" she asked herself. Then a feeling through the force hit her. " Andrew..." she whispered. She watched the sky intently, waiting for the familiar shape of the Dragon to appear over the horizon, but nothing. She stretched out with the force, probing as far out as she could hoping for something. All she needed was one single faint wave, letting her know her husband was safe. Again, nothing came. In a rush Castill dropped from the branch. Fear, Gripping at her like a hungry predator. With a forceful push of her legs she dashed through the dense greenage, toward the main temple of the Jedi Academy. As soon as she dashed into the com station within the temple, Castill found herself desperately trying to hail her husbands ship. Frantically she combed her eyes over the comm's control counsel. Her quick glance revealed a small monitor. On it was a large red dot, putting out Corellian distress codes. Castill sighed in relief. A few years back, before she met him, Andrew had installed that distress beacon during his quick run as a member of the rebellion. It was set to go off whenever his ship was damaged and being repaired. He was safe, she reassured herself. without warning the screen displayed two more ships, small fighters racing towards the defenseless Dragon, imperial fighters. With a wave of dread washing over her, Castill raced toward the landing field, hoping she could only reach her husband in time.
With a shower of sparks, Andrew Silo connected to wires that had been badly damaged in the fight, to two, newer wires which suffered less of a fate. " That's done" he grumbled to himself " Now the ship can fly, but still as blind as a bantha cub." He paced about for a few moments before finally calling out. " Hay, Manuel.. how are our eyes" The Sullustian chattered back a negative response. With a shrug and a curse under his breath, Andrew marched impatiently into the cockpit. " Well, hurry up then." he scolded the Sullustian. The ship shuttered, and rocked like a powerful wave. Silo looked at Manuel with a stern gaze. The Sullustian only shrugged and denied miss connecting anything. The ship rocked once more, this time the rock was accompanied by the deep howl of TIE ion engines. Manuel's large black eyes blinked as a rain of green energy splashed over the ships canopy. " Great. Just great" The corillian muttered " I get this ship almost working, and the other TIEs come back!" With a frustrated sigh Andrew blew a strand of hair away from his face. Manuel muttered a question. " Nope, guns were rewired to give the thrusters, and drive a faster pick up time." The mouse like humanoid sagged his shoulders in understanding. They were blind, and gunless. " We have some energy in the engines, lets use it to get into Yavin four's atmosphere." Manuel pointed out that without sensors, navigating the wind currents and other obstacles in the upper atmosphere would be suicide. " Yeah, but waiting here for a rescue ship is even dumber" the smuggler reminded his companion. " So shut up, and strap in." Andrew strapped himself in, and gunned the ship for all she was worth. The TIEs came in close behind the Dragon. Matching the freighters moves with perfection. Picking up speed was Silo's only thought, but doing so would blow the converters, and the power couplings, there by leaving the ship dead in space. With no shields, sensors, or weapons, speed was all he had. Taking the chance he bosted there speed. Warning alarms flaired, but Silo ignored them all. One of the TIEs shot again, aiming for there drives once more, but Silo easily rolld away from it. Within moments the Nebulon Dragon had entered the upper atmosphere of the Jedi populated planet. Both TIEs still behind him. Manuel clutched at the controlls, fear sweeping over him. Silo also slightly doubting his chances, bit his lip nervously, and dived twards the now rapidly approching jungle. The TIEs shot a few more times each shot finding a mark. The Dragon whined in protest as she was pushed to the limit. Just as the Freighter was about to colloide with the ground, Silo pulled back the controls, and sent the Dragon skyward. The two TIEs, not as quick to pull up exploded into a ball of flame as they hit a large tree. " Yeah, that got 'em" Silo shouted. Just then the Dragon gave up, her systems blown.
As Castill Silo raced toward her E-wing fighter, her eyes caught a welcoming sight. She watched the Nebulon Dragon come down through the clouds. Her heart eased, until she saw what followed him. The Jedi was intent on the sight, watching everything until the three ships vanished over the hill. Castill began to climb into her ship, to follow the battle, until she heard a large explosion from the jungle beyond. With the force, Castill stretched out hoping to feel her husband. She could feel the life about her, the other students, but not her husband. The only feeling from the direction he was in was that of danger, and the shivering feeling of death. Perhaps it was the TIEs that exploded, she thought. She waited a moment for a second blast, but nothing came. Could her husband really be dead? She felt a empty feeling wash through her body. As she wiped a tear from her eye, Castill Silo came to the dissision to look for the crashed freighter. Setting out on foot she marched with determination into the thick jungle beyond the landing field. Wishing that Andrew, and Manuel were alright. Castill pushed hard through the growth, pushing branches aside, slashing at vines with her lightsaber. The smell of rich plants began to give way to the heavy scent of burned metal and insulation foam. Just beyond the next ridge smoke danced about the soft breeze. With a cloud of dread about her Castill drew in a deep breath, and followed the path over the ridge. " I didn't do it" Silo shouted as Manuel fumbled over the controls, trying to start the Dragon's sub lights. Andrew banged his head against to consul in frustration. The Nebulon Dragon began to fall back planet side, unable to keep her hold in the upper atmosphere. Silo slammed his head again, this time a loud beep chimed through out the ship. " Stop doing that, I've already taken enough of a beating today, Silo." Andrew paused for a second to identify the voice that seemed to emanate over the ships com unit. It was the voice of NEB, the ship it self. Several months ago, Andrew, and Manuel installed a Guri units brain into the Dragon. using it for quicker reports, and repairs on the ship. Silo had not heard her voice in some time, he had almost forgotten she was there. " NEB, where have you been?" Silo shouted. " Here, and there. I was starting to think that you had forgotten me, but you are such a laser brain at times." Andrew remembered now, why he had given her his wife's voice. " NEB, stop yaking, and start working on you're drives, or there will be a very painful accident soon." Manuel continued to punch at buttons in random intervals. " Fine," NEB snapped " Forget I'm even here, then when I remind you, you use me. I feel so loved" The Dragon fell faster towards the ground. Silo wished he had never jettisoned the two life pods during a smuggling run. with a sharp metallic click the ship seemed to jerk a little. " Almost got it boss" NEB reported. " Almost?, Almost?,, Get it working, or we will become compost soon." he snapped. Looking down at the monitor, Silo saw the impact timer reach thirty seconds, twenty five, twenty,, ten, nine, eight. Another jerk. Six, five, four, three, two. With a whine of protest from the engines, the ship rocketed back up. " Got it." NEB squealed in triumph. " HA, HAAH." Silo roared " I knew you had it in you girl." A large lopsided grin caressed the Corillians face as he looked over at Manuel. The Sullustian sat in his seat, eyes shut, and fingers dug deeply into the back of his chair. Silo gripped the controlls with sweaty hands, and took the Dragon back over the ridge, and twords the landing field of the Jedi Academy.
With a grin of pure evil, Adena watched two TIE fighters chase after Silo's ship. Green energy raining around his YT- 1300. Adena reclined slightly in the pilot seat of her GAT-12h SkipRay BlastBoat. She felt quite at ease for the time being. Soon Silo would be dead, and that left Castill alone for her. She brushed her hands over the rose shaped lightsaber clipped to the thigh pad of her gold armor. Adena could feel the energy lying dormant within, waiting to be ignited. Sitting up now, Adena reached over to the transponder controls and flipped a switch. The Fire Saber, now became Cloud Dancer. Taking the controls in her hands, Adena took her fighter down towards the planet.
High Admiral Farlax stared coldly at the blank monitor that sat before him. He was outraged at the news that Cezthros had reported. How could the project work if Black Sun was unable to keep a lone Jedi away. Farlax sighed deeply. Knowing Cezthros, he more than likely told the woman everything he knew about the information on the file, and his whole plan. He would have also told her about the Silos, and there involvement. Farlax sipped softly on his stem tea, thoughts drifting in and out of his head. The news that Captain Du' Vu'arr 's task had failed also was a great disappointment. Soon the aging Admiral would have to send a equipment check list to High commander of imperial forces, Admiral Pellaeon. Pallaeon would want to know why he had lost five TIE fighters. Farlax would tell him they were in a exercise accident. Though he knew Pallaeon would not believe it for long .With a heavy sigh Farlax set down his tea, and punched up the Ravager's tactical display. The three Star Destroyers under his command, Ravager, Tempest, and Hunter, all stood still in the vast emptiness with in the core systems, ready to jump to action, should the call come. " Admiral," the soft voice of Du' Vu'arr crackled over the com system. " TIEs Gamma, and TIE Beta have not reported in yet." The captain's voice seems slightly concerned. " Should I send a shuttle back into Yavin to search for them?" Farlax tugged on his beard for a moment before responding " No captain, that's not necessary, they obviously have been destroyed." His words came out harsh, and cold. " They are no longer our problem. Tell me captain, have you been able to locate Adena yet?" Du' Vu'arr seemed to stutter for a moment. " Ye,, Yes sir,, she,,, she has been spotted by our probe ships. At last report they saw her within the Yavin system, headed towards Yavin Four." Farlax reached for his tea once more. " Well then captain, if I were you, I would take a small fleet to the rim of the Yavin system and ambush her when she tried to leave. Using a cloaking shield, of course." The young captain seemed slow to respond for a few moments. " Yes sir, I will take Tempest, and all her support ships, the Jedi wont escape." The High Admiral grinned slightly " Very good, you will go to Yavin, but do not worry about the TIEs." Farlax grinned softly to himself. "Perhaps we can do this without Black Sun's help after all."
With a sigh of relief, Castill Silo stood atop the ridge overlooking the crash sight. Two TIE fighters lay broken upon the jungle floor, wires strewn about like beached kelp lined parts of the large tree that once stood high before the collision. The tree now lay as the ships, broken, and reduced to the smoldering ash monument of there former glory. The Jedi woman was also pleased to note that Andrew had pulled his ship out of a bad situation, in the distance she could hear the roar from the Dragon's powerful engines grow softer as the ship headed towards the academy for repairs. It was then Castill felt something in the force go wrong. A heavy wet blanket of dark side energy seemed to wrap about her. She tried to use the force to fight back the dark feeling, straining every inch of her mind, trying to push it back. The energy only seemed to tighten around her, like a vine snake from the twilight level of Kashyyyk. Castill reached into her pocket, and pulled out the data pad containing the Sith text. Could this be the source of the energy? Castill thought back to the feeling she got from it earlier. No, this felt more like a living energy, not a feeling of long dead evils. Her eyes scanned about the jungle, as her hand instinctively moved down towards her lightsaber. Suddenly she became aware of a figure standing a few yards behind her. She turned to face the figure, as she ignited her saber, its emerald blade glowing before her. Warning alarms went off in her head, she turned away from the figure for a moment, just as a rock stuck her. slowly she felt her body slip into unconsciousness, and the growing weight of the dark side energy around her.

CHAPTER FOUR
Slowly walking around the limp form of Castill Silo, and using the darkside to toss aside large rocks as she did so, Adena admired her shot with the stone. The stone had completely caught Castill off guard, striking her upside her head. A thin line of blood running down Castill's temple marked the stone's impact mark. After tossing the stones aside, Adena plucked the closed lightsaber from Castill's lip hand, and clipped it to her own belt. She leaned down by Castill's feet, and began to drag the unconscious Jedi back towards her ship, hidden deep within the jungle. Adena would have preferred a fight, but with Andrew Silo still alive the fight would have been more complicated than she would like. As she continued through the thick vegetation, Adena felt Castill trying to push herself back to reality. The dark Jedi pushed harder with the dark side, keeping the Jedi woman unable to grasp the force. After a few more moments, Andena stood before the ramp leading up into the body of her ship. With ease, the dark Jedi was able to hoist Castill up onto her armored shoulder, and walk up the ramp. Once inside, Adena dropped Castill's limp body among a pile of crates, then proceeded towards the cockpit. With the ship already finished with pre-flight, the dark Jedi quickly took towards the skies before anyone noticed her. With the atmosphere rapidly thinning, Adena could see the stars slowly appear before her. A few more seconds, and she would be in hyperspace. As she broke into space her enemy warning program went off. Just a few hundred kilometers starboard of her sat a large imperial Star Destroyer. It's arrow shaped hull hanging in space like a cold cloud of death. Adena's eyes caught two comets coming up on both of her side. There blue, and white cloud of super heated dust gave way to two more Destroyers. " I've got a bad feeling about this." She muttered to herself. The three large ships, all bristling with firepower, began to close there distance between Adena, and open space. The dark Jedi increased her ship's throttle as she raced towards one of the ships that tried to flank her. The other flanking ship, now behind her, began to pick up speed. Adena slowed down a bit, allowing the two ships to close on her. Both ships opened fire, green energy washed about her as she tucked, and waved the Fire Saber out of there path. She continued her flight path until a feeling through the force told her to move. With all the speed the ship could manage, Adena rolled her BlastBoat out of the way as seven torpedoes roared out of the ship behind her. Unable to move, the Star Destroyer ahead of her caught all seven torpedoes in the control tower. The massive ship erupted into flames as it drifted out of control for a moment before exploding. using the second she needed, Adena pulled the hyperspace lever back, and made a micro jump, leaving the imperial ships behind her. Sitting in his captains chair, aboard the Ravager, Du' Vu'arr watched in outrage as the Star Destroyer Hunter drifted off to a erupting end. Star Destroyer Tempest's commander would be properly punished for his insolence. Then he saw Adena escape. How would he explain this to Farlax? How could he tell the admiral that his commander was incompetent, and caused the destruction of the Hunter. " Sir, another ship has entered the area." A young ensign's voice reported from the crew pit. Du' Vu'arr looked at the monitor. A small fighter entered, followed by another, and another. Soon a entire fleet of fighters had arrived. The New Republic had noticed them, and now a fleet of X-wings had come to chase them out. " Imperial Star Destroyers, this is Commander Wedge Antilles of the New Republic Rouge squadron. You are in Republic space vacate the area, and return to imperial space, or we will be forced to open fire." Du' Vu'arr opened a channel to all ships. " This is Captain Vykk Du' Vu'arr of the imperial Star Destroyer Ravager, we mean no harm to the Republic, we were chasing wanted felon. We will return without any more hesitation." Suddenly commander Hellebore's voice crackled to life over the comm. " Captain, we could take out these fighters, don't let them push you around." Du' Vu'arr's face became cold. " Commander, I order you to fall back." Hellebore didn't seem to listen. One blast from the Tempest was all it took to send the X-wings into a frenzy. As the Ravager pulled back, Du' Vu'arr saw Rouge squadron swarm the Tempest, like a army of scavenger beetles over a fresh kill. Within moments the Star Destroyer was gone, only blasted hull fragments remained. " Rather disappointing." Du' Vu'arr chuckled softly to himself. " First Adena gets away, then we lose two Star Destroyers." The captain let his usually stiff shoulders sag. This was going to be a long day. From the crew pit a sudden voice caused the captain to jump in his seat. " Sir, I have a transmission coming in for you, sender, unknown." Du' Vu'arr nodded." I'll take it in my quarters." " Very well sir, I'll patch it through." When Du' Vu'arr entered his quarters, he was greeted by the image of a beautiful, yet very deadly woman, clad in gold armor, autumn gold hair tied back, and forest green eyes narrowed and full of hidden rage. " Captain, I do not appreciate it when you try to have me killed like that." Adena spouted in a slightly teasing voice. " You know it never works anyway." Captain Du' Vu'arr bit his lip as he tried to suppress the rage building within him. Adena seemed to sence his feelings, her young beautiful face twisted into a dark grin. " I want you to know captain, I could have easily destroyed you, but I have more important objectives at this time. Don't worry though,,," Her dark grin deepened " I'll be back for you, and that fossil you call a admiral soon enough." As abruptly as the transmission had appeared, it had ended, Only a cold black monitor stood before the captain now. With a sigh of disappointment, Du' Vu'arr came to a dissision that Farlax would never approve. He had to get Adena, and the Sith data, the only person who knew Adena well enough to help was also one of his worst enemies. " Lieutenant, start preflight on that Rebel transport we captured last week, and send a message to Andrew Silo. Tell him that a old friend has a deal for him." The young lieutenant's voice responded, somewhat perplexed. " Will do, sir."
Another shower of sparks danced about Silo, as he welded two new hull plates onto the outside of the Dragon. The TIE fighter attack had done some major damage, hours would need to be spent repairing her. Hours Silo didn't have. Manuel's voice poured out of the ship, followed by NEB's. Scolding him for trying to remove a panel, claiming that he had no right trying to take away a girls privacy. Silo threw a lopsided grin as he listened to the two bicker back, and forth. Hearing NEB's voice reminded Silo of his wife. He missed Castill greatly, and wished he never left without saying good by. He had to get this mystery solved, even if it was nothing but a normal space mishap, and the stories about Adena, and the Sith could have all been a elaborate hoax. Silo shrugged off his thought, and continued his work on the ship's hull. " Hay there flyboy," NEB's external speakers blared." There is a message for you, saying something about a deal of sorts, signed an old friend " Silo thought for a moment. " Who sent it?" he asked. " Can't say. All I know is that it came from this system" NEB paused as she loaded more info from her memory file. " This person would like to speak with you personally, in two standard hours." she added. " well then,," Silo stated as he walked up the ramp, stripping off his grimy shirt. " I suppose I should clean up then." NEB made a pouting noise " To bad you didn't install optical sensors in the refresher unit" Silo only shuck his head. " NEB, that's exactly why I didn't put one in there." NEB giggled " You are such a teas, you rouge." After a cleansing shower, Silo stepped out of the steam filled shower unit, and into his personal quarters. Once there he put on the cleanest gray tunic he had, and his freshly cleaned flight pants. Looking , in his opinion, better than he had in years, Silo marched down the ship's open ramp and onto the landing field. Within a few moments a old rebel transport ship landed a few meters away from the Dragon. Silo's hands instinctively went down to his blaster as he saw three armed stormtroopers emerge from the ship. To his surprise the troopers stood in guard, rather than shooting at him. He watched intently as a cloaked figure walked down the ramp behind the troops. The figure drew back his hood to reveal a face that Silo had hoped to never see again. Captain Vykk Du' Vu'arr marched with a gate filled with pried. With every step of his gloss boots, the captain seemed to become a figure of power. " Captain Silo, I know I am not a welcoming sight to you, but here me out." Silo snarled his lips coldly. " I am willing to pay you for you're assistance in the capture of a fugitive." Andrew bit back his instinctive feelings, calmed down, and replied with surprising ease. " I'm not a bounty hunter, if you want one go bug Israel." Du' Vu'arr took another step forward. " He would be of little help, I need you." Andrew pondered for a moment. " Who, and how much." The other man seemed to smile slightly, breaking his cold demeanor. " You're former co-pilot, Adena, and four million credits up front, four million upon completion." Silo felt a pain in his chest at the mention of Adena. " What do you want her for?" He snapped. The imperial shrugged, " She has something of ours, and something of yours." " Like what?" Silo asked. " Like,, you're wife." the other countered. " How, she is back on Coruscant." His face darkened. " You have been trying to kill me for years, why should I trust you?" Du' Vu'arr reached into the folds of his black cloak and withdrew a small data projector. Silo watched as Adena's face came to life, threatening the captain. Behind her, atop a pile of crates lay the bleeding, unconcesious form of Castill Silo, his wife. " You don't need to trust me, I don't really want you to, but I do expect you to trust you're feelings." Silo felt as if his body had been thrown into a compactor heap, every inch of his body hurt. " I,, I,, OK. I'll help you." Du' Vu'arr smiled as he placed the projector back into his cloak. " I'm pleased to hear it." He tossed Silo a credit voucher, and began to walk back to his ship. " Come to Byss when you have her." the captain called behind him. " I'll be waiting for you." " What did he want?" NEB asked as Silo walked back up the ramp. " Adena has something of Du' Vu'arr's." he told her, " And Castill too." NEB sighed " So what are we going to do?" She questioned. " The only thing we can do," Silo responded " Go after her."
Within the cold black void of unconcesiousness, Castill Silo tried to push her way back to reality. With the force as her aid she fought the blackness. She felt the cold blanket slowly ease it's grip on her. Her ears began to pick up the faint sound of hyperdrive motors droning about her. A sharp pain began to throb on the side of her head, the side a large rock had struck her. She pushed harder with the force, and soon she pulled herself from the black pool into full concesiousness. She thought back to the Jedi healing trance that Mara Jade Skywalker, wife of Jedi Master Luke Skywalker had taught her when Castill was back at the Jedi Academy. Slowly she closed her eyes in concentration, picturing the force flowing about her pain, and drowning it. The trance would take an hour or two. Castill needed that rest, whoever had captured her was a powerful Dark Jedi. Castill would need her rest if she wished to escape.
Adena sat back in her seat as she read over the Sith data. She smiled evily as she took in it's words. The power of the Sith had not died as many would believe. Darth Vader may have been the former Dark Lord of the Sith, but not the last. Soon Adena would take her place among others such as Freedon Naad, Exar Kune, Darth Vader, and the person for whom her last name came from, Kune's first student Ulic Qel-Droma, As Dark Lord. She felt the power surge through her. All she needed was the two halves of the Sith stone, which were separated, and hidden on two random planets in this galaxy. Planets Adena now had directions to. Looking at her Nava display Adena chose the first planet she would find, Onderaan. Adena knew the significance of that planet, it was the planet used by the council of the Jedi during the time of the old Republic. The second planet, Quel-Luth, A small mining planet on the outer fringes of the Empress teta system. A tear, full of power lust rolled down Adena cheek. Very soon now, sooner than she thought possible she would become a Dark Lord of the Sith. Then the whole galaxy would be hers.
Jedi Master Luke Skywalker sighed deeply in frustration as Andrew retold the story of his encounter with Du' Vu'arr. Andrew knew things had to be bad to distress a Jedi. " I thank you for this information captain Silo" Luke stated in cool tones." I personally would like to help you, but I can not." Luke's blue eyes drifted across the room towards his wife, who stood by a window over looking the jungle. " But I know someone who can." he added. " She is a Jedi student of Mara's. One, who I feel is ready for a test. Her name is Chrissia Xakks. She will go with you." Andrew bit his lip, " uh,, Luke I think a knight would be better, not a student. Adena is very powerful." Luke nodded his agreement " Yes she is, but keep in mind that you're wife is with her. Like any Jedi, Castill too, will try to stop Adena." Silo shrugged. " Yeah,, I suppose you're right,, OK,, I'll take Chrissia." Silo stood from the table and smiled at Luke. " Tell her I'm leaving in one hour, with, or without her." With that Silo made his departure from the main temple, and out to the landing field.
As Andrew approached his ship, his eyes caught a slight movement inside the Dragon's living space. At his side Manuel chattered a warning that it could be a imperial assassin left by Du' Vu'arr. Silo disagreed with that, but to be safe he slid his hand to the blaster strapped to his thigh. The figure in the ship began to move down the ramp as the two smugglers approached. With her long strides, long brown hair, young face, and brandy brown eyes Silo thought she must be the most beautiful assassin in the galaxy. Then his eyes saw the two lightsabers attached to her belt. It had to be Chrissia Xakks. " You two took long enough, I've been waiting here ever sense Master Skywalker sent for me." Silo looked at her through hooded eyes as he tried to figure out how she got to the ship before him, and he was talking to Luke no more than thirty seconds ago. " You must be Chrissia." The Corillian stated as he nodded his head in greetings. " Yeah,, I am,,, captain Silo," she retorted " now when are we going to leave?" Andrew tilted his head slightly and narrowed his eyes " Were going to leave when I'm ready to sister, this is my ship you know!" Chrissia tossed her hair back and chuckeld softly " Really, I havent noticed." the Jedi woman turned and walked back up into the ship, the whole time lauging to herself. Manuel pointed out to Silo that he really knew how to tell people the rules. Then started to laugh himself. " Laugh it up mouse boy, lets see how you act under that situation." he retorted. Manuel ignored him as he too walked up into the ship laughing. Silo stood in the Dragon's shadow, lines of humiliation across his face. " It is my ship though." he muttered under his breath. With a sigh he joined the others abord the freighter. Dumping himself unceremoniously into his pilot seat as he started pre-flight, Andrew Silo closed his eyes for a moment, hoping to open his mind to the idea that his wife may be gone. At his side Manuel remained silent. Behind him Chrissia kept a sympathetic eye on the Corellian, wishing, somehow she could help ease his pain. She knew however that he had to deal with this on his own term. She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear and sighed slightly as the Nebulon Dragon began it's climb to space. Ahead of her, Andrew,Manuel, and a unseen female voice gave reports back, and forth. She wanted to aid the pilots in helping them find Councilor Castill Silo, and Adena Qel- Droma. The unfortunate part was that she, herself had no clue as to where to look. After removing her cloak, Chrissia straightened the silver under sleeves of her armor, and played absently with the lightsabers clipped to the metal bands that crossed her waist. Andrew looked over at her for a moment, his ice blue eyes combing over her, as if studying her closely. Chrissia almost wanted to squirm under his gaze. Silo's deep blue eyes seemed to penetrate every personal shield she had up. The Jedi remained still though, she knew she had nothing to hide from him. The space about the ship began to change into starlines as they entered hyperspace. Chrissia had no clue as to where they were going, but she had a feeling that Silo knew were to look first. " So,, Where we going?" She asked " Ord Mantel, There are a few spots out there that I want to check." Silo replied. " I don't see why a Jedi of any sort would hide there." Chirssia stated. Silo ignored her comment and kept a steady eye on the ships controls before him.
Czethros paced about his chambers like a caged animal. Adena's attack had left him wondering about his safety. Black Sun had been the greatest of the many crime syndicates in the galaxy, and now it was struggling after the death of Prince Xizor shortly after the battle of Hoth. Czethros climbed his way to the top, only to be pushed back by this damned Jedi woman. His cybernetic bands flashed with lights as he ran fingers through his moss colored hair. He would need to prove that he was not a come and go leader, and that he could bring Black Sun to it's former glory. Plucking a data pad from his night stand had become a normal thing for him in recent days, scrolling through it hopping to learn information that would help him kill Adena, and capture the Sith data from her. Today, like most days, no information was to be found. With a distressed sigh Czethros placed the mini computer down. His head hurt with the strain of his situation. He could do very little right now. No-one could located the Jedi, or Andrew Silo. Then his eyes caught something that inspired. A simple painting of three Star Destroyers combing a asteroid field, searching for the Millennium Falcon. " That's it!' he shouted to himself. Dashing for the com terminal, Czethros punched up the com channel to the Blood Fang pirates. Knowing that they would help, after all,, Czethros owned half of their ships.
Many years ago the Sith Jedi had controlled the planet of Onderaan. There Sith magic was stopped by the order of the Jedi Knights, led by Ulic Quel-Droma, and Nomi Sunrider. After the battle the Jedi Knights claimed the planet, and moved the Jedi Council here. The council hall had not seen a kind life. When Palpatine began his Jedi hunt the building was torched. It now stood as a hollowed out monument dedicated to the slaughter of the Jedi that once stood in this very spot. Vines, and weeds grew along the charred walls. The roof that once topped the great hall now lay broken upon the marble floor. Adena worked her way carefully around the larger chunks of rubble. Careful not to bump into one, fearing that she may jar the remaining roof, held precariously in place by plants, down upon her. According to the Sith text, The Jedi Knights captured the Sith stone shortly after they killed Exar Kune. Many Jedi died trying to stop Kune, the council never wanted to deal with another power as great as his. They hid the stone here, hopping that the Jedi would protect it from any " Would be Dark Lords". She felt almost sorry for the Jedi, had they known that there time would come perhaps they would have destroyed the stone, keeping it's true power forever lost. The Jedi flaw was now Adena's strength. She stretched out with the darkside, carefully probing every crevice, searching for the ancient relic. The Force was still very strong here, perhaps it was leftover energy from the Jedi,, or it could have been the plant life that grew so abundantly around the stone building. Whatever caused it held little meaning to Adena now, She focused on the darkside energy that pulsed softly somewhere within this chamber. As she stood in place, her mind focused on the darkside energy, she began to get a accurate image of the stones hiding place. She dashed with a childish glee as she found the location of the stone. Adena frantically tore vines from there hold on the wall, tossing them aside until she uncovered a old stone plaque, displaying the symbol of the Old Republic. Snatching her lightsaber from her thigh, and ignited the crimson blade, Adena slashed through the plaque until it too was nothing more than smoldering rubble. Behind the Plaque, Adena found a small case, a old, long dead hieroglyph of the Massassi race carved into the smooth wood box. She could feel the darkside power within, Calling to her. She fingered the lock, and opened the case. First to catch her eye was a lightsaber. It's long cylinder shape ended in tooth like projections on both ends. She took the saber into her hand, and thumbed the activation switch. With a snap hiss, the ice blue blade sprang to life. Adena deactivated her blade and put it away as her eyes caught a second switch, lower on the handle. She held the blade at a distance as she threw the other with her thumb. With a sound of a hundred hornets a second blade, colored the same revealed itself The energy blade was pulsing with darkside energy, for it once belonged to the Dark Lord of the Sith Exar Kune. Adena's eyes grew wide when she looked into the case, there, wrapped in silvery Lenin lay her prize,, The stone of the Sith. She snatched the stone and tucked it into her belt, closed down the saber, and dashed back to the Fire Saber. Her body racing with adrenaline, she was halfway there.

CHAPTER FIVE
The pain that wracked her body had subsided for the moment, and she could feel the Force protecting her. As she stood her body went cold, and her vision went black. Castill Silo, was forced to place her hands against a wall to support her body. The world seemed to be shifting around her. " I think I may have over slept." She muttered to herself, half expecting to feel a blaster shoved at her. To her surprise she found herself alone within the ship of her kidnapper. Walking slowly towards the cockpit, looking out the viewport at the land around her. From what she could tell the planet was not heavily populated. It's landscape was bare, no plants, or animals. Only hills of ash colored soil, and two refinery towers made up the view. " One hell of a vacation spot." Castill said to herself sarcastically. " Should really tell Andrew, and Manuel about this hot spot." Her emerald eyes scanned about the interior of the ship, hoping she could find some clue as to who had captured her. She didn't find to much; a crate of Glitterstim, a crate of Andris, weapons, and a few pieces of stormtrooper armor. " Apparently a smuggler." She noted. Castill searched back and forth for hours. oddly enough the person had not yet returned. Her eyes lit up as she found a holo image in the cockpit. The holographic image, apparently on for hours, speared her heart. Before her glowing in the dark ship was a picture of Andrew Silo, arm in arm with a gold-haird, green eyed, and very beautiful woman. Castill looked at the image for a few moments. She noticed a silver object hanging from the woman's belt.. A lightsaber. She had been right, the person that captured her was a Jedi,, or had been one at one time. Why was she with Andrew though? The two almost looked happily in love. Castill noted. If it wasn't for the look of confusion in the woman's eyes, one would think they had been very close. Something however disturbed the woman, and by the feeling in the room Castill knew what was disturbing her, the darkside of the force. That was when Castill became aware of the feeling about her. Stronger than she had ever felt. The darkside energy drifted about her, chilling her bones. Who was this woman? Why is she so strong? Councilor Silo did not know. All she knew for sure was that this person was perhaps very powerful, but not very smart. Ahead of her, laying next to the holo, her own emerald bladed lightsaber. She glanced about the ship one last time, searching for any security cameras. After she failed to find any she grabbed her saber, and clipped it to her belt. Castill had no idea where she was, she knew however, that Adena had captured her, and was here,, somewhere. With one last deep, cleansing breath, Castill marched out of the BlastBoat, onto the desolate planet's surface. As Castill crossed the remnants of a ancient river bed she felt her lungs burn. A small amount of sulfur was in the air, she could tell by the acidic taste the air left in her mouth. The Jedi wanted to get out of the open as soon as she could. Out in the distance she could make out what seemed to be a old ship yard. It's ancient smoke stacks rose into the air like fingers pointing to the stars. Hallowed out ship hulls dotted the sand dunes that surrounded the building. By the look of it Castill guessed this ship yard had to be from the days of the old Republic, but why was she here?. She felt about with the force, pushing her ability to the max. A tingle of warning rippled though her body. Her eyes, and ears could find nothing, but she was aware of the darkside that surrounded her. Her eyes caught a slight movement within the old building. It's massive windows concealing little of what lay inside. Castill quickened her pace, her breath becoming rapid in the heavy atmosphere. She pushed with her legs, bringing her to a flat run. She bounded effortlessly over the hull plates that rose from the sand, and ducked under low hanging loading cranes until she reached the main blast door. Upon the old door, it's once polished steel paneling now corroded by time, was an engraving of the old Republic logo. Under it was something else, but like the door itself, had suffered through it's time. Castill walked in slowly, cringing every time her booted feet clicked on the metallic floor. Inside the building she expected to find the same sings of time, but to her astonishment the interior looked untouched. The old assembly line still had emergency ship parts scattered upon them. Old WP-775 droids still lined the walls, plugged into there power units. Ahead of her Castill could see thin wisps of smoke rise from a freshly blasted hole in the wall. Adena was still here, Castill could still feel her presence. Plucking the saber from her belt, Castill marched into the blasted out area. Her eyes, and ears fixed, and the force flowing about her. She entered into a small storage room, littered with empty crates, and old projectile weapons. There before her was Adena, hunched over a small box, her heavily armored body trembling. Adena turned almost as soon as Castill entered. Her young face lined with a rage that no other could manage. In her hands, two black stones that seemed to sing to the other. Their shapes putting out large amounts of darkside energy. " I Didn't expect to see you so soon, dear." Adena hissed as she focused on the Jedi before her. " I wanted to surprise you when I got back." Castill thumbed her saber's switch and plunged the room into a soft emerald glow as the blade extended. " I don't know what you want with me, I don't know why we're here, all I do know is that you have been committing some pretty major crimes as of late." she stated coldly. " I do not like to be held against my will, or kidnapped in general." Adena smiled softly. " I'm sorry you Jedi are so sensitive to things, but here is how it stands, sweetheart. I hate Silo..You, are also a Silo. making me hate you also." Castill lowered her brow as she tried to figure out Adena's reason. " I also thought it would be nice to have a Jedi here to see what will be you're doom." Castill bit her lip." That's still no reason to take me.!" she barked. " Awh, But I did take you, so it's far to late to argue about this now." Adena snickered " I am a Jedi Knight, I protect the galaxy, I do not pose a direct threat to you!" Castill shouted, her temper rising. She was becoming tired of this. Adena was not making sense. " No dear, but I pose a threat to you, and,,, " Adena raised her eyes at Castill and put a stress to her voice.",,, everything you have or stand for." Castill's hands gripped tightly about the lightsaber, trying to remain calm. " You realize Silo never really loved you,, The only reason he went to you was because I made him look too weak for his ego." The Sith Jedi continued, her eyes focused solidly on the two stones in her hands. " That's not true!" Castill shouted. " He came to me because he,, he saw the good in me. He came to me because I would never do what you did to him,,," She blinked away tears that began to form about her eyes.",,, He came to me because he loved me!" Adena raised one eyebrow and began to laugh. " Loved being the optional word,, but when I'm done with him,,,," Before Adena Could finish her statement Castill bellowed a battle cry, so full of rage, and fear that it would intimidate a Wookie. Castill raised her saber and charged, her body falling to her anger. Adena calmly side stepped the reckless attack, and connected the two stones.
"Ord Mantel was once a pretty nice place." Silo stated as he combed his eye about the small spaceport. " At least I remember it being a nice place" He corrected himself as he caught the skeptic glances from Manuel, and Chrissia. It had been quite a few years since Andrew had been on Ord Mantel. In many ways the planet's scattered cities had not changed. If they had Silo didn't notice them, he had spent the last few years living well with New Republic dignitaries. Sometimes Silo missed the old smuggling days, though at the same time he enjoyed the lack of work, and stress he had. Thanks very much in part of his senator/Jedi/wife. Beside Andrew, Chrissia began to lightly sway her hips about in a mild boredom. " Are we just going to stand here all day and look like fools, or are we going to look for Adena, and you're wife?" she asked coldly. Silo shrugged and ran his fingers through his short hair. " I,, uh,,, yeah,, I want to check some of the old dives Adena, and I visited whenever we were here." he replied. He bit his lip in frustration, he had forgotten about his wife for a moment. He didn't mean to, he was taken in by the view about him. With that view came memories. Chrissia placed a friendly hand on the Corellian's shoulder and whispered softly to him. " Sometimes the past can distort the present, but never can it cloud the future, Silo. I know this place brings back memories, but you must learn to let go of them. You must save a person you love, and a person you loved. They need you Andrew." Chrissia's hand tightened over Silo's shoulder as she continued. " Don't worry, you have friends about to help you." Andrew's first reaction was to take her hand, and hold it tight to his chest and thank her. Rather than doing so he looked over at Manuel, then grinned. " I don't know,,, Manuel means well, but I think he's a little bit....." Andrew began to rotate a finger clockwise around his ear. Chrissia bit her lip as she cast her golden gaze towards the Sullustan. " Tell you what were gonna do, the two of you look on that half of the city and I,,,I'll cover the other half." Silo jerked his thumb backwards to illustrate his point. The other two shrugged their agreement, then strode off their separate way. Silo let a sigh of relief escape his lips as Chrissia, and Manuel vanished from sight, merging with the cities populace. Silo stood in silence for a few moments. What was going on? He wondered, as he tried to place the thoughts swarming about his head into prospective. His mind felt groggy, the shoulder, in which Chrissia's hand was on no more than a few moments ago was still warm from her touch. He remembered her whispering to him, but he did not remember her words. Now that he thought about it, he didn't remember anything that was going on around him. Castill, Adena, they ment nothing for a moment. With a heavy chest Silo walked slowly off towards a small cluster of casinos, and hotels. None of the buildings looked remotely nice. Street urchins of every race staggered back and forth between buildings. The grime covered walls were dotted with blaster burns. The smell that emanated from the gutters was unbearable. " Well, it's not quite how I remember it." Silo reminded himself. " Let's just hope it is alot better on the insides." With one last deep breath Andrew Silo ducked off into the nearest casino. As he entered the dimly lit room the Corellian swore under his breath at the quality of life that frequented this establishment. Several booths were occupied by races Silo had never seen. Others, held many of the more common aliens. In the center of the room stood a oval shaped bar, a human tender, shaped roughly the same, watched Silo with mild interest. Silo stood motionless for a moment, hopping to find a face he knew. To his surprise Silo spotted a rough looking Whipped sitting a few meters away. The Whipped's long snout covered with fine hair, and it's tusks which protuded from it's lower jaw appeared to be covered in blood from a resent hunt. The beast seemed to recognize Silo, for he waved the Corellian over with a fur covered arm. Andrew nodded and proceeded to the table, his left hand gripping the handle of his blaster. " Young Silo," The Whipped stated in a husky voice. " I have not seen you here in some time now." He took a large mouthful of a sour smelling beverage before continuing. " I trust that the hunt has been as profitable for you, as it has for me?" Silo nodded as he took a seat across from the large alien. " It has in some ways." he replied. " Do you wish to tell me of your adventures?" The Whipped asked. Silo retold the tales of his brush with the Hutts, Adena becoming a Sith Jedi, and other events that had been played out with in the last few years. The large alien sat quietly until Silo had finished. " Then you are hopping to find them here? On Ord Mantell?" The beast tossed back his head and laughed. " Prey would never willingly flock to a location full of predators, that would be unwise. Besides,.." The alien continued " sounds like this, Adena is looking for something as well." Silo thought for a moment before coming to the same conclusion. " Thank you, and may you have a honorable hunt." he said, using a Whipped blessing to express his gratitude. As he stood to depart the Whipped placed his massive hand out before the Corellian's chest. " A small fee, if you will." The Whipped said, his small dark eyes, glazed with greed. With a grumble Silo handed the alien a voucher and walked out the door, wondering how the other two faired.
Chrissia Xakks stood in a small room watching Manuel chatter wildly with members of his own kind. There shouts, and squeaks growing ever louder. She had been here for some time now, and it seemed as though Manuel had made little progress, but many new friends. As she listened to the big eyed aliens Chrissia began to feel a cold wave wash about her. Others in the room did not seem to notice, and she passed it off as a coolant problem. As the moments passed, the cold grew more intense until it managed to knock the Jedi back a few steps. What was that? she wondered quietly to herself, not wanting to distract her companion. Then the cold wave hit again, and again. Each wave growing more forceful. Her mind began to fog over, her body grew tence. Something in the force was not right. With every ounce of concentration she had, Chrissia stretched out with her feelings, and let his spirit become one with the force. Visions began to dance about her head. Visions of large starships, many people either dead, or dying. She pushed out harder, looking deeper into the force. Then she saw it, she now knew what was wrong. a vision of a woman, shrouded in black fire, laughing deeply over the crumpled form of a Jedi knight. She had seen the birth of a new Dark Lord of the Sith.
As the crew of the Velvet Crow stood quietly about there leader Cezthros eyed them with a keen eye. The crew consisted of the largest gathering of filthy, single minded, double blaster touting rif raf that could ever be found. Humans, Wookies, Sullustians, Twi 'leks, and other races, they all comprised this group. The crews leader, Mallon sat back, boots on table, running a finger along his grizzled face. Cezthros had told the group of his problem, reminded them of his power. The pirates seemed reluctant to take the job, but realized they could not oppose the hand of Black Sun. With the business aspect out of the way Cezthros felt it would be a good time to spend time with the crew, and perhaps talk them into letting him join them. If the pirates were to capture Silo, or Adena, he wanted to be there for the kill. Mallon stood slowly from the table, and carefully tied his scruffy hair back. " As a captain of a ship I feel it is bad luck to bring a person such as you with us." He stretched his back then adjusted his gun belt before continuing. " At the same time you, Master Cezthros, do contribute to us greatly, therefore I must grant your wish" he ended with a note of dismay in his voice. " Then we should leave as soon as we can." Cezthros stated coldly. " I want to have the great Sith text before the New Republic, or the Empire has a chance to find it." The old captain nodded. " We can shove off in two weeks." Cezthros's face went hard. He raised a gloved hand, and slammed it onto the table. The force of the blow sent a shock wave that pushed a wine glass crashing to the floor. " No!" the Black Sun leader roared. " We must leave now!" Captain Mallon stared wide eyed at the man seated across from him. " But sir, our ships have suffered damage in a resent skirmish with a New Republic fleet, there is no way we,,,," " We leave now!" Cezthros bellowed " We all leave, or I have all of you killed, or have you mine Andris spice until you are killed in a random accident." The old pirate could hold no argument. He knew very well that Cezthros would follow through with his threat. " As you wish, sir, but give me one hour to asymbol my entire fleet." Cezthros pondered for a moment, lights flashing about his cybernetic band. " Very well, one hour." The pirates all bowed in respect and filed out of the room in a single line. With a pleased smile upon his face, Cezthros leaned back and ran a hand through his moss green hair. " Perhaps we wont need the Empire's help after all.
CHAPTER SIX
A rain of black fire began to wash about the small storage room of the ship yard. A cold, yet seductive energy emenating from the flames. Adena could feel every ounce of her body tingle with energy. All the skills, and knowledge of the ancient Sith were now her's to command. The Dark Jedi could feel the energy lifting her body into the air. Never in her life could Adena recall such a rush. Jedi Master Skywalker had told her once that she held great power, and potental for greatness. She smiled evily between the waves of pleasure that drifted about, and through her. If only he knew, she thought. Below her, lay the fallen mass of Castill Silo. Her rage filled attack had failed, sending her face first into a piller. Something did not sit right with Adena. The dark fire should have vaporized the young Jedi, yet her body still remained, and still breathing. As the black flames that held Adena suspened eased, and set the new Dark Lord back upong the cold stone floor the anicent woman turned her attention back to the form of Castill. Adena stood abover her crumpeled mass, a broad grin upon her slinder face. Reaching down Adena gently eased Castills head, looking her face over as if searching for something, the waves of dark energy still cascading about the very core of the Senator. " This,," Adena whispered to herself " could be very useful" With that she leat the Jedi's head drop, and strike the ground with a sickening crack, while laughing milevolently to herself, with her new toy, perhaps, after countless thousands of years she would finally have the tools needed to create the Galaxy she saut to rule.

As Chrissia Xakks, and Manuel pushed there way back through the populace of Ord Mantell, Chrissia felt as though she was being watched. Manuel seemed not to take notice; the mouse like alien continued to chatter on about his life. Chrissia reached out through the force, probing the areas about her, combing through the minds of the populace. As she risked a quick glance about her she caught in the corner of her eye a sillouetted figure slipping into a building a few meters behind her. Abandoning Manuel for the moment, Chrissia broke her path and followed after the figure, both hands clasped firmly about her twin lightsabers. As she entered the dimly lit facility she was instantly overwhelmed with a cold presance creeping about her. With bird like grace Chrissia unclipped her sabers and thumbed the activation switch, throwing an icey blue haze about the walls, her foot falls quiet as she searched for her stalker. " If you would be so kind as to put your weapons away Jedi, I do not need the hastle of dispursing of you, I mearly saught to as a favor of you" a deep voice echoed down from the rafters behind her. Reluctantly Chrissia complied with the request and closed the blades down. " and what would this favor be?" she asked catiously At that moment a male figure, himan dropped before her, clad in the uniform of an Impierial Commander. Over his right eye rested a cybernetic optical unit, giving off a faint red ambiance. At his hop rested a standard issue field blaster, as well as a Lightsaber. The Jedi woman studied him over for a moment, she had seen him before, back on the Academy. The man before her was once a Student of Mistress Skywalker's, and Master Kartan. Chrissia herself had just joined the school for Jedi when it was rumored that this man was a plant from the Empire, trined to sabotage the Jedi, after the failures of the Shadow academy. " It has come to my attention that you are aiding in the data retrevial, and apprenention of Adena Qel-Droma" he stated dryly; Chrissia only nodded at first before shifting uncomfortably " My Admiral was informed that Captian Du-Varrgh had a meeting with your Corellian companion, and naturally the Admiral wishes to make a arrangement with you." he continued. Chrissia blushed mildly at the thought of beeing helpful, her training had taught her to be cautious but there was alot at stake for the galaxy should they fail, The Jedi were taught to be protectors of the populace, to defend the ideals of peace. and Adena was the biggest threat to all of this. " Yes" she mouthed hesetantly " let us talk".
