How many Lightsaber Forms are there ? Lots, most of them made up on this forum or LA, but the basic 7 are: Shii-Cho: A simple form based on ancient sword fighting techniques, and allows focus more than others. Statistically better vs many enemies. Makashi: A technique that resists force powers and is also excellent in lightsaber combat. Use it against force-wielders, but not against anyone else. Soresu: A defensive technique. Good vs blasters or if you do not wish to be hit. May make a good offensive attack against blasters, but in other situations merely delays the inevitable. Ataru: Another like Makashi. Excellent vs single enemies and ok vs force powers. Don't use against blasters and multiple enemies. Shien: Aggressive, powerful, and effective. Also good vs blasters and adds to the damage of critical attacks. No good against a single enemy. Niman: All Jedi who wielded this form in the battle of Geonosis died. That's all you need to know. Juyo: Mace Windu's form. Highly aggressive, and comes dangerously close to the Sith focus on physical combat ability. Use most often against single opponents and lightsabers; the only thing it sucks against is the Force. |
