Will George Lucas re-make the Return of the Jedi DVD to include Qui-Gon's ghost celebrating with the rest at the end of Return of the Jedi? (SuperShadow: No, never. A Jedi can appear as a ghost only for a short period of time after perishing. Qui-Gon has been deceased for far too long for him to appear as a Jedi spirit at the end of Return of the Jedi.)
Uhh Exar Kun managed to for over 4000 years and Ajunta Pall did for longer than 36 years.

I think he's right about this one. Both Kun and Pall were dark siders and weren't one with the Force. Light side Jedi become one with the Force when they die, but Qui-Gon, Yoda and Obi-wan all managed to keep their identities while merged with the Force (which has never been done before, apparently.) Obi-wan, at least in EU, says that Jedi can only do that for a short time.
I dunno if that's canon or not, but it does say that in one of the EU books.

(SuperShadow: Lucas says that spirits can only appear for a short period of time.)
Thats crap.
...the point is, Mickey isnt too fond of the EU.

How about this...
Hey SS, asking from sunny California. (SuperShadow: Rage on.) What I find peculiar is that how come in Episode 8 Anakin Solo, Ben Skywalker and Paron Lighton use Force avalanche and Force fireball to take out the thugs, but those powers are dark side powers (SuperShadow: They are NOT dark side Force powers. Completely incorrect.) and according to the History of Jedi and Sith they banned dark-side teachings. Please post this so I can see your answer. (SuperShadow: You are mistaken. All I can say about this topic.)
He never bothered to say why he was wrong

A Jedi can retain his identity for as long as they wish. It's called eternal life meaning forever.

Although Obi-Wan mentioned in one of the novels that the distance between their worlds had become to great and he had to leave.
Also SS claims that the EU is fake (yet gets most of his ideas from them) so if you looked at it from his pov (which I suggest you don't) you could agree with his statement. If I was asked that question I would of pointed out that Luke never knew of Qui-Gon, so there would of been no point to his appearence.
