Mr. Lucas, I have been a Star Wars fan since a very early age, almost before I could walk. Do your children hold any interest in continuing the Star Wars Saga with as much passion as you do or do they desire something a little different? Thank you for creating this wonderful world of characters for generations to love, David L., Cypress, CA
George Lucas: My children are still too young to definitively decide what they want to do with their lives. I would prefer that they don’t have any interest in making more Star Wars films. I would rather that be left alone. However, I’m not always going to be here and when I’m gone I will have no control over what my children do with Lucasfilm. I expect Shadow is going to talk them into producing more films after I’m gone. It gives me nightmares some times. Let’s be honest. No one has the necessary genius to duplicate my vision for the films.
