My name is Matt Heckman, and I'm from Womelsdorf, PA. I came across your site while doing research on Mickey Suttle. This research into Mickey Suttle began a couple of years ago while investigating matters relating to internet fraud. After running some searches, and being a Star Wars Fan since I was a kid I noticed a lot of results relating to a guy named Mickey Suttle a.k.a. Supershadow. I figured I would make Mr. Suttle the centerpiece of my research.

To cut to the chase most of what I discovered thus far is common knowledge among the internet, but I decided to dig a little deeper to find out more about Mickey Suttle the man.

A little more then a year ago I had to go to Greensboro, NC on a business trip. I finished up my business two days early in Greensboro, and had time to kill before returning to Pennsylvania. After knowing that Mickey Suttle lives somewhere in Hickory, NC I decided to take a detour there on my way back to PA. Hickory, NC is a pretty old fashioned looking southern town, and most of the people there are pretty easy going. I was eating at the Outback Steakhouse, and had a nice talk with the waiter. It turns out that my waiter Chris went to School with Mickey Suttle, and had a lot to say about him relating to his Supershadow alter ego. Chris mentioned the following about Mr. Suttle.


1) Chris knew Mickey since 4th Grade he was put in a couple of S.E.D. (Seriously Emotionally Disturbed) classes. Turns out Mickey has a lot of mental problems, and was seeing the guidance counselor's on a regular basis. Mickey was constantly picked on because he was, and still is a short chubby guy with dark hair, and glasses. Suttle has A.D.D. (Attention Deficit Disorder). Suttle was also constantly caught masturbating in the boy's bathroom stalls.

2) I was also told that Mickey is always talked about in town, and at that point in time had local law enforcement, and state police watching his house due to his supershadow activities mainly from the trouble he got into posting hyperspace material from starwars.com, and charging people for it. They are also there, because there are a few Star Wars fans that actually tried to raid his house and attack him.

3) Mickey Suttle has been arrested numerous times, and his web servers seized. I was also told that Suttle's father is a lawyer at a local law firm that keeps bailing him out of trouble using his A.D.D. as an excuse for not being mentally there to defend himself.

4) According to Chris the talk of the town is that Lucasfilm, and George Lucas himself sort of handle Mickey like a hot potato in essence because of fear of the press making it look like George Lucas is picking on a mentally ill person. So that is why his site will be shutdown, and back up a couple of weeks later.

5) One of the girls in the Supershadow's girlfriend section sued Suttle. Though Chris was not sure which one, but his Father settled with her out of court for around $75,000.00.

6) Suttle has never had a girlfriend in his life, and he was 24 years old at that time when I was there.

7) Suttle's web servers are in his basement at his house. From what I was told you can drive by in the wee hours in the night and see the lights on in his basement.

Over all I found the conversation to be interesting. In my opinion Mickey Suttle is very sick mentally, and really needs help, and turns out that his Father has the attitude of just buying away his troubles. I was planning on driving by Mickey Suttles's house just to see if for myself, but I was told by Chris that with Law Enforcement watching the place constantly that would not be a good idea, so I took his advice, and stayed away.

I was actually sent an email address to a "Michael Suttle" who lived in Forest City, NC.
I thought I would check it out as it is a bit of a coincidence to have two Michael Suttle's living in Carolina. I added him to my MSN account and when he logged on last night; I asked him a few questions about Supershadow.com. He seemed very arrogant, rude and a bit annoyed that I was asking him these questions. He wrote exactly like supershadow would. This Michael Suttle says that he doesn't like Star Wars but he seemed to know quite a lot about the "other" Michael Suttle. This Michael Suttle once worked for Geppetto Kitchens in Forest City, North Carolina:

Well, hmm, that's an odd email (the second one, from "Heckman"). As much as I want to believe all that he said about Suttle (and brother do I want to believe ALL of that), it seems a bit over-the-top. I'm not sure that someone with THOSE kinds of problems could actually function well enough to pull something like supershadow.com off as well as he does. But, you just never know, do you?

Oh, and I am quite serious about that documentary. I definitely want to be a part of that. I googled Ransom Productions with his name, and it came back ok. It is a legitimate business:
