Waking the Galaxy Part 3 (Open)

*While Alastor hopefully had the jedi distracted at Dantooine, Greed would take care of buissiness on Alderaan. This was a very rich place, his kind of place. If he could take even one palace, oh the riches that would flourish. He and 300 gang members silently led their way in the dark out of a local spaceport, looking for their first target. The first group of 20 located a large palace within the mountain ranges. A good overlook, should the gang flourish even more. One commed Greed of the location and were sent forward. The twenty, driving their speeder bikes, drove their way up a slanted path, as to save time of climbing. Greed and his group of 50 awaited at the bottom of the mountain should the signal be made.*

*The twenty speeders came to a stop almost seventy feet from the palace doors. Turning off the engines, each member pulled out their blaster carbines and peered from a distance. A group of ten guards. Two standing at the entrance, two twenty feet away from the gates, two patrolling the palace walls, and four at the back entrance. Slowly creeping around the rocks, ten of the twenty quietly made their way to the gates. When the first two guards were close enough, the ten unleashed blaster fire upon the unsuspecting guards. They were caught surpirzed and shot back. The attack caused two of the gang to be killed while both guards were taken down. The guards at the palace doors sounded the alarm as blaster fire came at them. That was the signal. Greed and the fifty drove their speeders up the hill to the group. The other ten that hid came to aid the surviving eight.*

~There was a reason Alderaan seemed so sparsely populated, allowing said gang to move around without more resistance... The Plague affecting the populace. Within the first few hours of the gang's arrival some 60 members (20%) were showing the first symptoms of said plague; festering pustules on their limbs. While the plague does not have an immediate death sentence some 10% of the inflicted will perish while the remaining 90% will become debilitated with high fever, chills, inflammation of the lungs and bleeding sores along their arms and legs. Immediate medical assistance is required to stave off complications such as pneumonia, enema and other secondary effects.~

ooc: I needed to kill them off somehow! This is perfect!

*The guards were takin out easily. This was a problem. Busting open the palace gates with carefully placed mines, The twenty walked in. One or two of the gang members noticed an infection on one of the guards. One radioed Greed of the situation of the palace. Greed and the fifty drove up and hopped off their bikes, walking into the palace unattended. Greed was so blind in his want for richness, he had no idea of the disease in his body. Some of the soldiers started to cough and sneeze, seemed normal considdering they were up a mountain. Greed signaled his men to spred out in the palace and clear it out. He himself would head to the royal chambers. After less then fifteen minutes, Greed stopped in front of the throne. It was empty. Running to the seat, he instantly relaxed himself, sneezing. His fellow members joined him soon later. They explained how the castle was filled with bodies, and not a soul put up a fight. Greed waved them off as he searched for any sign of treasure. He found footlockers that contained at least one thousand credits in each guest room, and found a locker that held the king's "Stash" ( ). Bringing it all back to the main throneroom, he started to bathe himself in the credits and sniff the drugs that the king kept for his own. But as the hours past, and the sun slowly rose, Greed turned pale and he felt sick. Many of his members had disapeared in the castles many chambers. Greed lay there, in his pile of credits and opened bags of drugs. He lay there, feeling cold with every passing moment. By late afternoon, he died sleeping in his gigantic pile of credits and drugs lay scattered across the once clean velvet rug. He was so obsessed with his addiction to money, and the unhealthy habit of greed, he died in the piles of his love.*

OOC If you so desire have more of your gang affected by the plague. It targets those with weakened immune systems anyway, those that take spice would be particularly vulnerable.

ooc: True. But some of them must die by bounty. That's why I had them up. I created them solely to help others get money.

OOC: That's okay, I was thinking like 30 or 40% infected with at most 12 kills from the plague. It's all good anyway. However many you want infected that'll make your tally and thread still work is good for me. ;D
